This mod says it requires Medical System Expansion - Revived but that mod page says it is a legacy version and the continuation is Medical System Expansion 2, can I use that or would I need to use Revived?

No idea.
In 1.0 it worked with Combat Extended but in 1.1+ I can't guarantee that it does.
Even if it does the Body mounted weapons won't use or need ammo.

I have been really enjoying this. A Brawler is fun, but a Brawler with two archotech charge rifles in his overpowered upper arms and poison crystal cannons in his lower arms using a link monosword is something else. Looking forward to the rewrites.
