flies like a stone and the engines are losing power all the time

Yup. Updates have "borked" the cooling system for the engines. It looks like power output has dropped a bit as well. I'll have to redesign the engines. :(

Has this just broken through the ages? I can't get the engines to not catch on fire

Sorry... previous post got deleted by accident. Hit Delete on my post to correct and edit and it double clicked.

Did you follow the instructions in the description above for getting started? I just tried it and no problems. It's build for Short Takeoff and Landings. Even at a Requested Speed of just 45 m/s I can clear the hills right on a straight run out of the Creative Island hangar. For the Engines there is a High Efficiency mode which puts the engines in to a lower gear improving fuel performance and heat gain. You typically un the engines in Power Mode for Takeoff, Landing and heavy maneuvering. For cruising hit the just right of the lower centre console (below the Glass Display Menu) to put it in to High Efficiency. Even with Power Mode and a throttle setting of 50 m/s I never broke hear over 75'. Engines explode at 120'. Outside of setting it at 65 m/s (max throttle) for a long period of time and your engines damaged will every get to that amount.

Thanks, Agent. :)

Thanks for your comment, MrPanther. Glad you like it. :) I have been considering a version of the HERMES as an AWACS (pulling off the Water Bomber equipment). I just need to find the time to and patience do it. At this time I'm getting a little "burnt out" but I'm still thinking of some implementations for "Generation 2" type of vehicles that will be more modular with their equipment. Only time will tell. Thanks again! Cheers!

Your creations are awesome!

hehe.. it happens. :) Lots of buttons, switches and options. Hopes it all makes sense where they are located. I tried to keep like things grouped together and items with priority close in hand.
Easy 5 Jan, 2020 @ 4:39am
Thanks man, i sorta got lost in all the switches :P
ElfBossHogg  [author] 5 Jan, 2020 @ 4:17am
Thanks, IHasBlue. The switches for the lights are in the ceiling between the two pilot seats (between the radios). It's a single compound block with two toggle switches and two buttons. There should be controls for the landing+taxi lights, NAV+collision and the Internal flight deck lights.

She is a damn capable craft and a pretty one too. One problem i've encountered, i can't find the switches for landing lights or nav lights anywhere. Where do i look?

ah, ill troubleshoot more, thanks for the prompt response
ElfBossHogg  [author] 11 Dec, 2019 @ 8:03pm
Thanks for the note, SBDRavemaster. I have encountered the blue screen but it's not consistent. It only seems to happen the first time the craft is loaded but may not happen again if you load it again. It only seems to happen if you open the RADAR prior to the POD. I think it may be related to the fact that sometimes variable names don't seem to always be local. Since RADAR and POD use the same screen something is happening where POD is not correctly setting values for width and height even though they both use the same call syntax with the same variable names. The issue may be the same variable name which somehow aren't local. It's strange.

if you need the exact fault i have a screenshot

Hi dAWG. Didn't have any plans. No real ropes other then winches in cargo bay.
MonkeyKing73 2 Dec, 2019 @ 5:34pm
rope update?!?

Hi tanksdc445, I haven't had a problem. When you put the Altitude in the keypad did you hit the Submit WP button as well? (not just the submit on the keypad dialog, it's a separate push button) If you don't hit the Submit WP it won't write it to memory when using the manual GPS X, GPS Y entry method and the altitude would be zero. When you look at the NAV.CURR screen does it show an altitude value for your WP?
SpiritofFire65 26 Nov, 2019 @ 4:33pm
I encountered a serious problem with the AP, where the AP altitude would progressively drop during flight. I tried increasing the destination altitude to counteract this, but it had no discernable effect. this eventually resulted in the aircraft crashing, how do I fix this?
AtlasEight 10 Nov, 2019 @ 2:20pm
OH dang, that sounds awesome! Thanks!
ElfBossHogg  [author] 10 Nov, 2019 @ 8:05am
Thanks for the comments. As for those connectors, nothing solid yet. I put them there as an option to add additional drop tanks or equipment. One consideration was to have a refueling drogue attachment (towed fuel connectors on winches) that could pull fuel from either the main tank or the fluid connector in the cargo bay. Still thinking about it.
AtlasEight 10 Nov, 2019 @ 4:51am
Question, What's up with the large connectors on the wings?
AtlasEight 10 Nov, 2019 @ 1:43am
Yes! Beautiful craft as always!

Wow, nice Aircraft!
