I have to ask: does the same principle apply to bows? I could see any person with two brain cells knowing gun go bang even when someone's right in front of them, but drawing and firing a bow when someone's actively perforating your liver seems a bit far fetched.

I know you've stated that it should be compatible with just about everything, but just wondering if anyone knows if this works with TacticOwl? Being a Roolo-sanctioned performance rewrite of Run And Gun itself, I imagine they share similar code and wondering if they might clash

Hey, I was wondering if you'd be willing to make this not require hugslib? Because hugslib is severely broken at the moment and is messing up a ton of mods and it doesn't seem like it's going to be fixed any time soon, if at all.

Some error-handling in the configuration section would be nice - I'm sure the actual culprit is another mod (something must be broken with textures); but whatever the cause, the devlog opens and starts spitting out _thousands_ of errors per second when I attempt to open the UYG config and it tries to render the available guns. Unable to even successfully close the config window, it's just dumping errors and frozen; end up having to reboot the game. )=

Is it possible to catch errors and only print once if any were generated during the loading of mod/gun images? /=

@luneyl the description kind of makes it sound like they will but its good to know its not on my end then "It removes the "(too close)" message when right-clicking an enemy and automatically lets them shoot without your interaction also."

im able to make pawns shoot in melee but they arent doing it automatically, theyre all allowed weapons btw, anyone else having this issue? (i have a lot of mods so it could be one interfering)

@Knight, tried the game just with this 2 mods. Load order doesn't matter, all weapons from Sparkling Worlds refuse to fire at melee in any case. Also all off them have mortar-like 3x3 no-fire zone near pawn when looking at gun range.

When using "Bulletstorm" SMG from Sparkling Worlds Addon https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2016125368 it still shows "Too close" and dont allow to shoot when target is near pawn.

@mentat once mod is subscribed and activated, head to mod settings page and scroll to 'use your gun' and from there it's dealer's choice; forbid the guns you don't want to be shot during melee

Nice, but not to go away from the original game balance, would it be possible to add only one hand weapons like pistols to do that and rifles will remain the same? (cn shoot back with pistols but not with rifles)

@MoeLester @Patient Ember Yeah, sorry. It's not automatic. I think I briefly looked into it last year when I first released it and it was either convoluted or I didn't find a good solution.
I've been incredibly busy lately (and will continue to be for a while now) but will look into it when I get some free time.

If it's not possible or there isn't a 'clean' way to do it, I'll leave a message here.
