It works like a charm ! Thanks a lot man !

@Skykiller
I moved the contents for Rimworld 1.5.4409 back to the 1.5 folder and separated it into the 1.6.4543 folder. After checking that it's updated, try restarting the 1.5 game. Hopefully, the beam burn error will be resolved.

Update : 9 Aug, 2025
v1.6.3
- The 1.5 and 1.6 folders have been separated.

Thanks to Skykiller for reporting this.
Proxyer  [author] 8 Aug @ 2:52pm
I see! Odyssey doesn't actually support 1.5, so that's the reason. I'll think about how to make it compatible.
Skykiller 8 Aug @ 2:47pm
Oops, sorry, I forgot to mention that I’m playing RimWorld 1.5. I updated to version 1.6 to see if that was causing the problem, and indeed the error disappeared. When I switched back to version 1.5, the error came back.
Proxyer  [author] 8 Aug @ 2:22pm
Other way I can think of is to "Verify integrity of game files" from Rimworld's properties.
Proxyer  [author] 8 Aug @ 2:16pm
Another possibility is that cloud saves are enabled.

If you have Steam cloud saves enabled in RimWorld, please disable them. When cloud saves are enabled, the old game settings are recalled, which may cause errors regardless of your current mod list.

To disable cloud saves:
1. Launch RimWorld
2. Reduce the mod list to just Core and DE Surgeries
3. Start a new game
4. Save immediately after starting and return to the start screen
5. Exit RimWorld
6. Right-click RimWorld in your library and open Properties
7. Disable cloud saves

Cloud saves will now be disabled.

@Proxyer, maybe I am missing something or not understanding what you're saying but as I wrote previously, I have disabled every mods except Core and DE Surgeries and I still get the error.
Proxyer  [author] 8 Aug @ 8:53am
@Skykiller
Thank you for your advice.

As I wrote in the error reporting thread, please first check the minimum mod list. After that, it's time-consuming to remove mods that you think may be conflicting one by one to identify the cause.

It's almost impossible for others to guess the cause, especially if the list of mods is unknown.
Skykiller 8 Aug @ 7:53am
Hello Proxyer, thank you very much for taking time to answer me.
As I said the error still occure if I disable all mods but DE Surgeries. I'm quite new to the game, only been playing for a couple of months. I thought it could be because I play without any DLC and that there is no Beam weapon/wound in my game but I really don't know. I play in french so I thought it might be a translation issue but the error still pops up when I switch to english. I'm now playing on my steam deck, don't know if the error also occure on my PC as I am on holidays for a couple of weeks.
Anyway don't waste your time on me, as I said everything seems to be working fine, it was just to warn you just in case you may find it usefull. Don't hesitate to ask if you want further informations. Also, sorry if my english isn't perfect : )
Proxyer  [author] 8 Aug @ 6:00am
As a basic rule of thumb, if the message "Could not resolve cross-reference" is logged, it is likely that there are other mods with recipes that modify the same BeamWound.

To check this, try launching only the Core or DLC and DE Surgeries in the mod list and see if you get the same error.
Proxyer  [author] 8 Aug @ 5:47am
Hello Skykiller.
Thank you for your report.

However, without knowing the specific error message, it's impossible to determine the cause. In order to resolve the issue, I need more detailed information than just "an error has occurred."

Please read the explanations and notes in this error reporting thread " Error reporting thread " and the reporting guide, then report the error with a detailed description.

Thank you.
Skykiller 8 Aug @ 5:16am
Hello,
Just for information, since last update I have the following error on startup :
"Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.Hediffdef named BeamWound"
I don't have any dlc (so no BeamWound either ?) and the error still pops up if i disable all other mods.
All seems to be working well thought.

If you want to eliminate failures even with high medical skills, you may want to consider installing the following mod.
SurgeryImproved
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3233032071
Proxyer  [author] 10 Jun @ 2:48pm
Hi Billo J Dahka.
If the surgery fails, the same thing happens to the colonist as it does in vanilla. In difficult surgeries, failure can even result in the death of the patient.

@all
New DLC, Please check out this official Ludeon blog post.

Billo J Dahka 10 Jun @ 11:17am
What happens when these surgery’s fail? Do the limbs/things fall off like in vanilla?
Proxyer  [author] 9 Jun @ 9:43pm
Update : 10 Jun, 2025
v1.6.0
- Added 1.6 tag preliminarily for new DLC.
Proxyer  [author] 11 May @ 3:40am
Hello Totally not Skynet .
Because EPOE - Forked has the same functionality. So it is not compatible with this mod. But, it is compatible with nomal E.P.O.E.
Totally not Skynet 10 May @ 9:12pm
Excuse me, I just wish to know if this mod is incompatible with "Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering - Forked", as I remember someone saying so. Or is that the mod where compatibility still exists.
Proxyer  [author] 12 Apr @ 6:56am
Hello Vaarelsauce.
From Scar Removal Plus source I just checked, it seems to be compatible with remove scar and fix brain damage.

However, since there is overlap in the surgical menu required to cure old scars, you may find it easier to choose one or the other.
This mod doesn't have fix brain damage, so not an issue.
Vaarelsauce 11 Apr @ 10:56pm
Would love to know if it's compatible with Scar Removal Plus in the description.
Proxyer  [author] 20 Feb @ 1:30am
P.S.
Mod technology allows it to be easily cured. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
Proxyer  [author] 20 Feb @ 1:28am
Hello GreyApache.
Unfortunately, brain injuries are not eligible for cure.
This is the original mod author's concept, and is to maintain the value of the item that exists in vanilla, the brain implant (persona core).

This allows players to experience a story that laments the importance of head armor (helmet) and bad luck. Please understand, thank you.
GreyApache 19 Feb @ 9:52pm
Can you cure brain injuries?
Proxyer  [author] 19 Feb @ 12:57pm
Update : 20 Feb, 2025
v1.5.5
- Add a new surgery "cure acid burn" (+scars).

Thanks to Eversor for reporting this issue.
Proxyer  [author] 14 Dec, 2024 @ 11:33pm
Hi asdf officer.
I don't think CE will affect medical. For more information, you may want to ask on the CE workshop page. Thank you.
OzempicChallengerExplosion 14 Dec, 2024 @ 9:50pm
is this CE patched?
Proxyer  [author] 5 Dec, 2024 @ 4:36am
Hello AzureSix.
EPOE-Forked is not supported. Because EPOE-Forked contains its own treatment system (dll) and does not accept interference from other mods.
AzureSix 4 Dec, 2024 @ 8:58pm
IS there a way to remove Alpha Animals scars with synthtic tissues / neuro-cure frameworks?
Proxyer  [author] 26 Nov, 2024 @ 6:23pm
Hello Deklatis.
Yes, you're right, so I've created patch-only mods for the most popular animal mods.

Vanilla Animals Expanded — Caves

Deklatis 26 Nov, 2024 @ 6:17pm
So if I have a bunch of mods that add animals, I'm going to need a lot of patches aren't I? :winterbunny2023:
Scorpio 7 Nov, 2024 @ 4:45pm
no problem
Proxyer  [author] 4 Nov, 2024 @ 5:31pm
@Scorpio
I confirmed it. Big and Small - Xeno Insectoid Hive does not handle the human treatment that is handled by Big and Small - Framework .

This is a problem with the concept of Big and Small - Xeno Insectoid Hive , so this mod will conform to that concept.

I have determined that human medical technology cannot treat the illnesses and injuries of insectoid humans. Please understand.
(Technically, it is possible to do this by simply creating a patch to add the insectoid Xeno to the HumanlikesDefx.xml that treats them as humans in B&S Core. However, this would ignore the intentions of the mod author.)
Proxyer  [author] 4 Nov, 2024 @ 5:04pm
Hello Scorpio.
I haven't checked that mod. Unlike HAR, it may not be treated as a human. I'll look into it a bit.
Scorpio 4 Nov, 2024 @ 3:58pm

one of my favorite mods, thank you
Proxyer  [author] 18 Jun, 2024 @ 11:02am
Hello Kevin_M2.
EPOE-Forked is not supported.

The reason is simple, because both companies are doing the same thing. Furthermore, EPOE-Forked uses Mod Expanded, which forcibly overwrites other mods.

Therefore, it is inevitable that the functionality of this mod will be lost. EPOE is supported with "EPOE only", but EPOE-Forked is not supported. Thank you.
Kevin_M2 18 Jun, 2024 @ 10:28am
I know this has been mentioned but I can't seem to figure it out. Can someone tell me if I am missing something. I have this mod, EPOE-Forked, Reasearh Reinvented, and Research Reinvented: Stepping Stones. From what I have found I need to disable the Gated Surgeries Option in Stepping Stones, which I have done. I am still missing some of the surgery options. I did not start a new game after disabling the Gated Surgeries option, so that may be the problem. I also have Reaseach Pal Continued which I thought was maybe conflicting with Research Reinvented so I removed it but am currently on travel so haven't had a chance to try it out without that yet. Any help is appreciated.

Update : 12 May, 2024
