I moved the contents for Rimworld 1.5.4409 back to the 1.5 folder and separated it into the 1.6.4543 folder. After checking that it's updated, try restarting the 1.5 game. Hopefully, the beam burn error will be resolved.
v1.6.3
- The 1.5 and 1.6 folders have been separated.
Thanks to Skykiller for reporting this.
If you have Steam cloud saves enabled in RimWorld, please disable them. When cloud saves are enabled, the old game settings are recalled, which may cause errors regardless of your current mod list.
To disable cloud saves:
1. Launch RimWorld
2. Reduce the mod list to just Core and DE Surgeries
3. Start a new game
4. Save immediately after starting and return to the start screen
5. Exit RimWorld
6. Right-click RimWorld in your library and open Properties
7. Disable cloud saves
Cloud saves will now be disabled.
It has been verified.

Thank you for your advice.
As I wrote in the error reporting thread, please first check the minimum mod list. After that, it's time-consuming to remove mods that you think may be conflicting one by one to identify the cause.
It's almost impossible for others to guess the cause, especially if the list of mods is unknown.
As I said the error still occure if I disable all mods but DE Surgeries. I'm quite new to the game, only been playing for a couple of months. I thought it could be because I play without any DLC and that there is no Beam weapon/wound in my game but I really don't know. I play in french so I thought it might be a translation issue but the error still pops up when I switch to english. I'm now playing on my steam deck, don't know if the error also occure on my PC as I am on holidays for a couple of weeks.
Anyway don't waste your time on me, as I said everything seems to be working fine, it was just to warn you just in case you may find it usefull. Don't hesitate to ask if you want further informations. Also, sorry if my english isn't perfect : )
To check this, try launching only the Core or DLC and DE Surgeries in the mod list and see if you get the same error.
Thank you for your report.
However, without knowing the specific error message, it's impossible to determine the cause. In order to resolve the issue, I need more detailed information than just "an error has occurred."
Please read the explanations and notes in this error reporting thread " Error reporting thread " and the reporting guide, then report the error with a detailed description.
Thank you.
Just for information, since last update I have the following error on startup :
"Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.Hediffdef named BeamWound"
I don't have any dlc (so no BeamWound either ?) and the error still pops up if i disable all other mods.
All seems to be working well thought.
v1.6.2
- Added cure beam burn.
Thanks to Asgahn for reporting this.
v1.6.1
- Fixed the French translation for Lung Rot (Biotech).
- Added cure vacuum burns (Odyssey DLC).
SurgeryImproved
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3233032071
If the surgery fails, the same thing happens to the colonist as it does in vanilla. In difficult surgeries, failure can even result in the death of the patient.
@all
New DLC, Please check out this official Ludeon blog post.

v1.6.0
- Added 1.6 tag preliminarily for new DLC.
Because EPOE - Forked has the same functionality. So it is not compatible with this mod. But, it is compatible with nomal E.P.O.E.
From Scar Removal Plus source I just checked, it seems to be compatible with remove scar and fix brain damage.
However, since there is overlap in the surgical menu required to cure old scars, you may find it easier to choose one or the other.
This mod doesn't have fix brain damage, so not an issue.
Mod technology allows it to be easily cured.
Unfortunately, brain injuries are not eligible for cure.
This is the original mod author's concept, and is to maintain the value of the item that exists in vanilla, the brain implant (persona core).
This allows players to experience a story that laments the importance of head armor (helmet) and bad luck. Please understand, thank you.
v1.5.5
- Add a new surgery "cure acid burn" (+scars).
Thanks to Eversor for reporting this issue.
I don't think CE will affect medical. For more information, you may want to ask on the CE workshop page. Thank you.
EPOE-Forked is not supported. Because EPOE-Forked contains its own treatment system (dll) and does not accept interference from other mods.
Yes, you're right, so I've created patch-only mods for the most popular animal mods.
DE Surgeries - Mod Animals patch

Included Mod Patches :
Alpha Animals
Vanilla Animals Expanded
Vanilla Animals Expanded — Royal Animals
Vanilla Animals Expanded — Caves
Vanilla Animals Expanded — Waste Animals
Vanilla Animals Expanded — Endangered
Animal Collab Project Vanilla-Style
Palm Cats
I confirmed it. Big and Small - Xeno Insectoid Hive does not handle the human treatment that is handled by Big and Small - Framework .
This is a problem with the concept of Big and Small - Xeno Insectoid Hive , so this mod will conform to that concept.
I have determined that human medical technology cannot treat the illnesses and injuries of insectoid humans. Please understand.
(Technically, it is possible to do this by simply creating a patch to add the insectoid Xeno to the HumanlikesDefx.xml that treats them as humans in B&S Core. However, this would ignore the intentions of the mod author.)
I haven't checked that mod. Unlike HAR, it may not be treated as a human. I'll look into it a bit.
EPOE-Forked is not supported.
The reason is simple, because both companies are doing the same thing. Furthermore, EPOE-Forked uses Mod Expanded, which forcibly overwrites other mods.
Therefore, it is inevitable that the functionality of this mod will be lost. EPOE is supported with "EPOE only", but EPOE-Forked is not supported. Thank you.
v1.5.4
- Added icons to the surgery menu.
I would be happy if I could help you have fun playing.
v1.5.3
- Fixed all language translations for 1.5.
- Biotech DLC "lung rot" cure has been moved to a separate DLC folder.
Thanks to @pikatyu-1000000 for reporting this issue.
IMPORTANT :
With this update, mod have made major changes to the folder structure.
I recommend resubscribing to the mod to avoid problems. If you experience problems after updating, please try resubscribing to the mod first. I apologize for the inconvenience.
