Sorry, I'm old and dense these days. All I needed to do was scroll down to the right scenario! Thanks for this.

Sorry, I am "late to the party." I don't see Israel as a selectable country? I have the AC Mod installed as well. Thanks!
Hiro  [author] 8 Mar, 2019 @ 10:05pm
Sorry to late replay.
Unfortunately I don't have enough time to develop mod/scenarios right now. so I can't assure it, but I'm considering it.

There is such a huge lack (I would suggest even a major oversight) of Bronze Age Grand Strategy games. This is the kind of thing that I look forward to watch you develop Hiro.

I will wait to see a larger map. There is a ton of potential for taking players into this time period, this is the Age of Legends after all and there are many monumental stories that come out of this time period that have left quite a mark on human history through out time.

So I can only encourage you to keep at it Hiro. Nice one.

Thank you. This is my first attempt to make a scenario, so I don't want it to be 'too ambitions' so I make map rather small.
In the next scenario, which will soon be published, is going to be larger map!
Thandius 17 Dec, 2018 @ 5:29am
I played it as Greek city states on medium.

While the map is a bit small for my personal taste, this scenario is made so well I can't really criticize it for that.

Beautiful work.
Pavel-Ku  [developer] 12 Nov, 2018 @ 1:32am
Yes sure, but I really like the setup. Also the objectives are very nice.
Hiro  [author] 12 Nov, 2018 @ 1:27am
Glad to see you enjoyed!
The excellent AI is in your base game. :D.
Pavel-Ku  [developer] 10 Nov, 2018 @ 9:53am
I played it yesterday on heroic (As Greek city states) and this is a great work! I will probably lose (150 turns in game and except of Greece and islands) I have nothing. I had part of Turkey, but I was simply beaten by Egypt! Damn Egyptians!
Pavel-Ku  [developer] 23 Oct, 2018 @ 11:23pm
I am sure that it wasnt easy, especially without any help. But you did it and very well. Once you got into it, was it easier or you find it hard even now?
Hiro  [author] 23 Oct, 2018 @ 8:14pm
Thanks Pavel, much appreciated.
The objectives were hard to incorporate the scenario.
Pavel-Ku  [developer] 23 Oct, 2018 @ 10:47am
Hi Hiro,
I just want to say that I finally had some time to look at it and I am very impressed by all what have done. The number of objectives is outstanding! The setup is also very nice and all the assets...
Really great job!
I hope I will have time to test it properly not just couple of turns and looking around:)
Keep it up!

Again a bug fix in ver 1.042
Hiro  [author] 8 Oct, 2018 @ 3:08am
And a bit bug fix in ver 1.041.
Hiro  [author] 7 Oct, 2018 @ 5:58am
I made ver 1.04. which is perhaps the final version (except bug fix), because I want to make a new scenario/mod.
Hiro  [author] 29 Sep, 2018 @ 7:04am
I made ver 1.03 where the objectives for Babylonia, Assyria, and Israel implemented (Later, the ones for remain nations will be implemented).
Captain_Narol 25 Sep, 2018 @ 2:45am
Good point, the strait of bosphorus allows communication between Black Sea and Egean Sea.

There wasn't much trade going through it yet a that time, but over time it became more and more important especially for Greece.
Hiro  [author] 25 Sep, 2018 @ 2:28am
I didn't realize how important the strait of Bosphorus is. :D
Certenly I'll change the map a bit in the next ver.
UhtredRagnarson 24 Sep, 2018 @ 8:10pm
Thanks for adding more resources. It's a fun mod. I changed the map a little so that the mediterranean and black sea are connected.
Captain_Narol 23 Sep, 2018 @ 8:43pm
Thanks, very nice list ! Kudos for including the Scythians, their expedition in Ancient Orient was epic !
Hiro  [author] 23 Sep, 2018 @ 5:43pm
Done! at the above description of the scenario.
Captain_Narol 23 Sep, 2018 @ 6:37am
Hello Hiro, that seems like a very interesting scenario, set in a period that is too often neglected !

Can you post somewhere the list of the factions available in it, please ?

(I hadn't played the scenario yet but I'm really interested in the subject)

Implied Facepalm Deadmeat 20 Sep, 2018 @ 6:24am
Much better in terms of resources
Hiro  [author] 19 Sep, 2018 @ 10:41pm
I made ver 1.02 where all factions enhanced resource mines at the start.
Perhaps the game will be more 'kind' at the beginning turns.
Implied Facepalm Deadmeat 19 Sep, 2018 @ 8:28am
Greece could do with a stone mine, it runs out early. Many civs could probbaly have additional resources i imagine.
Hiro  [author] 19 Sep, 2018 @ 4:37am
To Amom: De nada.:steamhappy:
To Labrat1960 : The ancient orient history is fascinating stuff but games for this era is too few (Only I know this era's game is Legion Gold by Matrix/Slitherine).
I feel every factions must have at least one gold mine (or near area where easily take it) at the start turn.
I already edited the map a bit. eventually I'll update it.
UhtredRagnarson 19 Sep, 2018 @ 1:41am
Just tried your mod. I'm glad someone made a mod for an earlier history of mesopotamia. It's pretty fun so far. I've played some as scythia and it's tough because they don't start with a gold mine near. But I managed to expand, killed the Urartu (?) and Assyrians so far. At war with phrygians and just took their capital. I'm also settling to the East and SE. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Amom 18 Sep, 2018 @ 11:14am
Muy buen trabajo. Gracias. ;-)
Hiro  [author] 18 Sep, 2018 @ 12:39am
Updated the mod to 1.01. Changeing random names for new build city to more suitable names to the orient world.
Hiro  [author] 17 Sep, 2018 @ 6:46pm
I thought that making the Arabian Peninsula wasteland to emphasize the importance of the fertile crescent in this era.
But now I think it's a good idea to something improvement here too.
helimadora 17 Sep, 2018 @ 1:21pm
It looks really good! Maybe I would add some oasis in the large desert regions so that these areas are also used in the game ...
Hiro  [author] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 4:38pm
Thank you! I haven't enough testing time (only a few turns, duh!), so the impressions and reports would be greatly helpful.
Cablenexus 16 Sep, 2018 @ 2:26pm
Very well done! I have to play it the coming week, but the first impressions, the tribe names and map setup is very nice.
Hiro  [author] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 6:23am
I exported to the scenario.ag file, but I didn't find any <reports> tag and contents within it except the last </report> tag. Also, <playerModelAvailabilities> and all contents didn't exist. so I had to manually write (copy / pasted) the code.
Pavel-Ku  [developer] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 6:17am
Can you clarify this? I am not sure what do you mean by that.
We are not aware of any issues
Hiro  [author] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 6:12am
Yeah, I worked so, but I think the editor has some bugs, didn't correctly export them. so lost many tags in the scenario.ag file, for example only </reports> tag existed between <Relation> and <playerChartVisibility>.
Pavel-Ku  [developer] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 6:05am
The thing is that you should not export the scenario and continue on the scenario file. You should always just use the "Save" functionality and export scenario just for testing purposes.
Once the game is started as scenario (in New game window) it calculates a lot of things (that is what you are refering to). You should continue working on the save file.
Hiro  [author] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 6:03am
When I use alt+A and then save the scenario as the scenario.ag , the editer deleted many tags and contents in the scenario.ag. so I hesitate to use the editor after making the map and nations.
Pavel-Ku  [developer] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 5:53am
What do you mean you cannot use the editor? Just press Alt+A and you are in the editor?
Hiro  [author] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 5:50am
Thank you, Pavel.
I have strongly edited the scenario.ag file, so I no longer can use the editer anymore :D
But in the next scenario making (perhaps the larger map version), I will do it.
Pavel-Ku  [developer] 16 Sep, 2018 @ 5:45am
Looks really nice! Good work!

Then only thing I would suggest is to change the shape of coast (to match more the real one). There is a button in editor called "changed pattern", try that out. And keep up the good work!
