Cool mod, but yeah pretty much the only helmet I want to use for my ships crewmembers is the "Handy Space Helmet."
Do you think you could add a resized sprite for that one?

Trying to fix the size of that helmet was the reason I was going to use this mod. As I was reading the comments, I noticed @Merkr: requesting the same thing (a size fix for the "Handy Space Helmet").

Definitely safe, dude below me. I've had items added and removed completely from my game, and it ran just fine afterwards. This mod just modifies the textures that are loaded up for the armors.

And I think what JaceEthaniel means is that since you editted the base game's sprites and not the ones a mod would add, there would be no effect (on the modded ones). I could be wrong

What I am saying is that the mod does not change moded armour, so it will not make moded armour look better unless you were to include altered sprites for the armour... Since Drakanic asked if the mod worked "for" mods, it is implied that he is asking if this mod will alter moded armour; to which the answer is no. I could have misinterpreted what he meant to say though, if he had meant "with" mods instead; in which case, yes this mod works with other mods as long as they do not alter the sprites of the armour this mod alters.

What armor mod support? It should be already compatible to any mod, that doesn't change the original sprites

Moded armours have their own sprites, since this is a sprite edit the answer to your question is no.
