@Chandler You unfortunately can't edit the map, only add onto it, at least I'm pretty sure after all of my attempts of messing around. You can add on things in radiant, though I am going off of memory as I don't have the tool downloaded and won't download all 100GB of them. Also, download all of the tools. I know the base is around 20gb, look in the DLC section of the mod tools on steam for about 100gb more of stuff, you might find what you're looking for there. You should find a map called "zm_giant" and that's what you edit. Just know that if you verify your tools its going to verify the map you've been working hard on and wipe your progress. It's happened. Hopefully I've been of help to you, oh and you *may* need to own the DLC.

I'm really curious how you were able to edit The Giant. I can't seem to find any information on JUST editing The Giant. I'd like to do something similar to this but absolutely cannot get things to work for me. Any advice or places to start looking?

This map is a lot of fun to play with the All-Around Enhancements mod. I'm looking forward to your next version!

@DMac_442 I see that you have a lot of time on mod tools and I completely get where your frustration is coming from, given how many low effort versions of "The Giant" are on the workshop. However I have spent an lot of time and effort on picking, placement and pricing of weapons, as well as remove Jugg and change the health regen until they were balanced together to make a re imagining of a classic that played differently. I'm currently rebooting my work on this map and redoing the guns completely, may add some BO4 perks (which means more time spent working on shaders I think are good enough for them), completely redoing the lighting, skybox and fx, and maybe adding new areas that all put together create the reimagining I've always... imagined. I doubt you'll see this reply this late, but you question is very reasonable and wanted to tell you why I would put it up on the workshop. :)

@Synr.gg | Synyster No, I tried, and was really sad to find that out. I wanted to add a section under The Giant but I couldn't remove anything. Or there is some sort of way but I just don't know, I'm not fluent with radiant.

im trying to mess around with this map in radiant... is there a way to ungroup the entire map so i can edit certain map areas?

@RebYellow115 From the get go the idea was to have no perk limit so you can get all the perks in zombies history (besides Jugg or Tombstone because better alternatives are there), it was meant to be a fairly relaxed take on the classic Der Riese where you can have all of the perks, but to still have some challenge, we put a lot of though into balancing it. I completely understand your point, and that would make for a really interesting second version of this map that I might consider making if I could easily make a copy of this but have that changed. It would definitely change the gameplay and add diversity, I would have the perk limit between 5-6 after some playtesting, if I ever do that. I'm glad you enjoyed playing, and I hope that you would play again after I eventually update and fix gun issues and take a look at maybe changing most of the guns. Who knows, it could be possible that I have guns from Cold War in here at some point.

@Bruvlovania I put Tombstone there because I thought Tombstone was too OP when you also have Who's Who. If you can get all the perks and guarantee that you get them back every time it's too easy. Plus when you have no perk limit, I see Who's Who as the "new jugg" because it gives you a chance to get all your perks back, or chose to loose everything to run away and survive. I like the idea of putting Jugg in the furnace since it also isn't being used, I'll try to add the Jugg model with Tombstone and make it look good. Thanks for the input!

i liked the mod but found it lame that there was no perk limit...i loved the idea of removing jug too allow for more perk variety, but then this idea is ruined by the no limit, making people buy all the same perks regardless. i think you should make the perk limit 4 or even 5, thank you for reading my comment and thanks for the awesome mod :)

@Erneld Wish I had more info for you, doesn't seem to matter what guns I have, or whether or not I'm in split screen or single player. My guess is a possible animation or something that spawns? Possibly dogs, not a clue man :/

@MrBorderPatrol Strange, several people including myself have playtested this map and I haven't heard of an issue with round 20 specifically. My friend who tested this map many times had several crashes around 30+ but not every time, and never specifically round 20.

Did it happen as soon as it hit round 20, or did it happen in the middle of the round each time? Thanks for letting me know about this issue, I hope I can fix it. And I hope that you might check back when I have updated the map to give it another go, I'll take a look at what weapons to remove and new ones to add and have another look at weapon balancing. If you have any other criticisms or complaints please let me know.

Has a great chance of crashing on level 20 specifically. Thought it was my old pc. Even after a rebuild. Anyway sticking with the DLC version..

@Sh0rt_Exposure Who's Who is on the map, you can look through the pictures on this page to see where it is, it's on the second floor in the building to the right when you're leaving spawn. Funny, I had the same thought as you, it's the closest replacement for Jugg.

The reason I removed it is because it's a crutch perk. I think that perks should be fun abilities that you can buy, but Jugg is the only one that you NEED. It also becomes a massive pain in the ass if you fuck up and you're stuck in a cycle of getting Jugg, dying and having to get it again and losing all your money. The other thing is the slow as hell health regen just didn't work for how small and faced paced the map is. The faster (but not too fast or too slow) regen plus 4 hits to get down instead of 3 (no jugg) or 5 (with jugg) make this balanced, challenging but still fun, in my opinion. I know people have a massive hard on for Jugg but gameplay wise I think this makes it more fun.

@Sh0rt_Exposure I suggest you at least try it out. I carefully changed the speed of the health regen and how many hits it takes to get down to keep it fun and fair, keeps it interesting on a map like this. You can run around more, it leads to some crazy close calls and those moments were really fun in play testing for myself and others. And you have a lot of guns carefully chosen for balance and perks to use. A couple guns have some issues with sounds which I'll sort out sometime, but life gets in the way.

really awesome man only 2 things, 1st just a suggestion but might be really cool is add the waw der riese metal game over to the map when you get game over of course, would be really awesome just a suggestion and 2nd just a suggestion but maybe add the ultimas crew instead of primis crew to the map other than that great job man and best the giant on the workshop man really enjoy playing this.

yea i got wiped out too. Since some people will probably be wondering, I haven't completely forgotten. I've been dealing with a lot the past year and just... really couldn't continue working on this. I would love to continue working on this and other zombies related modding, but not for a little while, sorry. I really am.

Not necessarily. I’ve been struggling with life, so it’s hard to work on this. But I have a bit of time on my hands, and I will try my hardest to update it and fix the issue that people have with teleporters, and I would like to add some weapons from BO4. I have the tools to do it, but it takes some time, especially if you don’t know how to do it. But I will eventually come back to this, unfortunately this isn’t the most pressing thing in my life.

yeah you could find one that was removed on shangri la sitting near a perk, I'm sure there are more if you look in the game files. each map should have 3-5, but most only have 1 per map now.

@Sjabajs I am aware of the issues with the teleporter, I've promised before that I will update it an fix it, but unfortunately I've been dealing with a lot lately, but I will fix it in an update. I still have plans to add waeapons, including from BO4. But hopefully things get easier and then I can focus on that, it does take a while. Thank you for the input though, I appreciate it.

Cant link the left-most teleporter to mainframe. When standing in the teleporter, nothing is prompting me to activate the teleporter.

The BO3 RPK is on the wall. Or if it's not, it is in a future version I've yet to update due to it being unfinished and me not being able to finish it due to stress. With BO4 out it might be a little while longer before I get back at updating this again, but I will certianly get back to it. I have a lot of ideas for this project, and if I get into it and solve some of the harder issues, this will turn into something really awesome. And thanks for the kind words, I worked pretty hard tweaking things for balance, and getting the perk and wall weapon placements in the right spots on the map. If BO4 gets mod tools (which there are some rumors of), then I hope to bring the full vision of this project to BO4.

really liking this soo far do wish maybe the weapons from the time chronicles was released up till now dlc weapons would be added to the box , bo3 rpk , galil , sten , marshall 16 , an such but other than that really awesome job man really enjoyed playing this much improvement keep it up man really nice job.

For anyone saying the teleporters are not working, you have to let it cool down. You can still link the teleporter when it says "Cooling down" if you try to link it while your getting this message it breaks the animation for linking the rest of the teleporters.

@runman if Mule kick takes your gun you can either try drinking a perk or (re-)paping and you get them back.

this was real good,wall buy drakon/commando and rpk. was the rpk from b01? felt/looked abit different.. still beast. phd flopper w/ the multi grenade was nice and was also nice because i pap'd the start pistol and took no explosive damage with mustang and sally ty for putting that in also. btw. staminup was really fast felt like marathon lighteight from mw2 days. the colours of the perk emblems that appeared after you bought perks was cool and i liked that there was basically a perk on every corner with NO perk limit. the only bad things i came across were mule kick tacking my secondary gun and deadshot didnt really do much for me. didnt feel as op as usually is.
great map tho seriously.

I'm working on a fix for it, I hope to update it soon. The best thing to try in the meantime is not linking too fast, that was what usually caused the error.
