Hi there All,

Sincere apologies for not updating all of my mods in such a long time. Life stuff got in the way, and when I did have some free time, I just didn't want to go back to this stuff as a quick read made it seem like it was going to be a pain to fix. Finally in a bit of a better head space, and with Wreckfest 2 coming out soon, figured these PROBABLY won't break again, so I looked into it, and it turned out to be a relatively easy fix. I went ahead and updated all of my track mods. At least for Wild West Motorsports Park and the Loop of Death version of Stockton 99, the devs added some tracks that essentially did the same thing (and in WWMP's case, literally the same track, haha), so you weren't missing much with my stuff being gone, but now Ukiah and Petaluma are back and playable too, which is nice for folks that like the small ovals.

EDIT: This happens on ALL of your tracks. So I won't annoy you by posting the same report on all of them. I just hope you read this one.

Hi KillerAJD,

When this mod is added, it makes all cars instantly dirty the moment the race starts (when the countdown ends). This is the same problem that occurs with TADS Gaming "UK Short Ovals"

This affects the game globally, meaning it affects ALL TRACKS i.e. the default tracks and tracks from other packs.

Went and re-checked textures. Think i managed to fix every missing one on these tracks (it's a PAIN to do so manually, so it may take me a bit to get to my other tracks). As noted in the description, you will need to download all of my tracks for all of the textures to be present (this is due to the way I set the pathing in the mod tool, as it automatically copied the path from the first track I worked on fixing the textures for (Petaluma), so most of the paths in the other tracks point to the Petaluma folder).

Updated the track, so it hopefully will now work with the latest update. Should no longer have issues loading, and shouldn't break vanilla tracks. I've only checked to see if it works with my mods, so no promises that it won't break when other mods are installed. Some missing textures still, but not sure if/when I'll get to those.

@Thunder Strike I would love to! I have some (extremely) early work done on some other tracks that I had done months and months ago, that I hope to find some time to work on in the next few months, but no guarantees I'm going to be able to get to them. Fixing these after the big update broke them was the first time I had worked on them in ages, so getting used to the workflow is gonna take awhile.

Yep. That's the one. Disable just that one, and all is well again. Hopefully that gets fixed soon, as that's another essential mod as well.

Hmm, like I said, i ended up uninstalling every other mod I had just to see if mine were still functioning on their own, and I did have the Very Track Pack installed as well. if it just updated, something in the update might have broken something. I'd try disabling it/uninstalling that mod specifically and see if it fixes it?

Okay, so I started the game to see if maybe the track was back, and not only was it still gone, but both Figure 8 track options were gone as well! So I looked at my mods to see if any had been recently updated, and it turns out that The Very Track Track Pack was just updated. So I moved that mod above the Ukiah mod, and all is fixed now, thankfully! I'm dreading when Ukiah breaks as well. I'm not sure I can live without it. Thanks again.

@jeremyc9 For sure, glad you like 'em! And yeah, hopefully one of those things to try helps! Haven't played much myself recently, so every time I get a comment like yours, it's always a case of going and checking to make sure things aren't broken, haha. Since it's been a minute since I've worked on them, I'm dreading when they actually break.

All information helps. I haven't installed any mods recently, so it's kinda weird how it just disappeared, considering I run that track every time I play (It's by far my favorite track. Combined with the Nascar Legends mod and AI, it's the perfect mix of racing and chaos.) I'll check the game cache and see if any other mods were updated recently, and let you know what I find if you're at all interested. Thanks for the reply, and mostly, thanks for the tracks.

@jeremyc9 Similar to my suggestions to CorndogCrusader, there might be an issue with missing files or a mod that is conflicting with mine. I just went through and tested every track of mine (including the High Banked Oval), and they all worked fine and showed up as normal. I did initially receive an error that kept crashing the game (that said it was missing a tire effect surface called 'graveldark'), but I removed all other mods and left just my own, and they were working fine (so clearly, some other mod I had installed was giving issues). My apologies, but you may have to go through it one mod at a time to figure out if another one is causing issues (my first suggestion would be to verify the game cache, as that might catch something without needing to go through your mod list). Hope that helps.

@CorndogCrusader I just went through and checked every one of my tracks and track configs that I've uploaded, and none of them have that issue. My assumption would be that a file is missing (in which you can force a check on that by right clicking the game and clicking verify game cache in the settings), or, more likely, one of the mods you have installed is causing a confilct, and is overwriting the default skybox. I didn't mess with the skybox in any of my maps, so they should just use the default one. If you have a mod that explicitly changes them, try disabling it and checking the tracks that are affected again. If you don't have a mod that says that's what it does, you can try disabling them one at a time to see which one is causing the issue.

Why is this map based in space...? I don't understand it. So many of these maps have a space skybox for me, is there something I'm missing?

@Kastia Hah! Did I write Lake County in the info? Always get confused on the County line between Lake and Mendocino for some reason (and I probably had Lakeport Speedway on the brain when I wrote it, which is still open).

Awesome! A taste of home! Thank you but Ukiah isn't in Lake County, it's in Mendocino County. I think there used to be a track in Lake Co in Lakeport, it may have been closed though.

Stockton 99 Speedway is finished! Check out my submitted items or search for it and download it if you'd like! I think this is my best looking track so far, and I also had a bit of fun with a few of the variants (a loop de loop, anyone?!), so check it out!

Alright, did a bit of house keeping, fixed some texture issues, removed some objects to (hopefully) increase performance if you were having issues, and added a 5th variant, the High Banked Oval. Enjoy!

Petaluma Speedway is finished! Check out my submitted items or search for it and download it if you'd like! If you want more than just an oval and a demo derby or a plain figure 8 race, definitely check it out. The extra variants are a lot of fun. I'm currently working on an extra-banked version of Ukiah that I'll add, and then will brainstorm on what to work on next.

I went to the Stockton speedway site.
1/4 mile high banked is all they say about it. There is very good pictures around though so you can have good references

I hear ya, I hear ya! Finishing up Petaluma Speedway now, and will hopefully release it this weekend sometime. Haven't yet decided what to work on next, but a few of you want Stockton, so I may just shoot for that (makes it a bit tricky though, as I haven't been there in person, so I have to rely on videos/photos that I can find, and Google Earth/Maps for the general lay of the land).

That would be awesome! I haven't been there in nearly 30 years now, grew up going to watch my dad race street stocks there and had a family friend that ran Southwest Tour, seen him in Ukiah and Petaluma before.

Great suggestion. I'm working on Petaluma Speedway (3/8 mile dirt track, and my home track to boot), and want to do Lakeport Speedway too. May have to throw Stockton 99 on the list as well.

In hindsight this turned out to look like an commercial for myself, sorry! Just meant it as an motivator. It's a small modding community, got to take care of eachothers :D

Thumbs up for more! Forgot to say over at main forum, but if you need some assets from my mod - just take em. Some of the stuff there is created from bottom and contains both textures and max files. Good luck!
