NEW UPDATE: 02/09/25 - Sincere apologies for not updating this in such a long time (I even pulled all of my mods due to not being able to take the time to fix them). Thankfully, saw somebodies suggestion on how to fix the permanently dirty cars glitch, and it turned out not too difficult to get working. Theoretically, the mod may have some issues with the track surfaces (the glitch was due to me editing the surfacelist for my mods, which apparently broke at some point), although a quick check of every variation didn't seem to present any noticeable issues. Hopefully this (and my other mods) now work without problems, and considering Wreckfest 2 is out soon, I assume they won't break again in the future (I hope?!).

Race around Ukiah Speedway, from Ukiah, California! Features 5 variants, including Oval, Derby, Figure 8, Figure 8 with a ramp, and the newly added High Banked Oval!

Demolition Derby

Get down and dirty at Ukiah Speedway. Nothing smells better than burning rubber and crunched metal!

Current Issues:
Cameras aren't great, but I don't think there's anything particularly broken.

Oval

Race around Ukiah Speedway, a 1/4 mile paved oval up here in Northern California! A tight, smooth front stretch gives way to wide open runoff on both ends of the track. Don't get bumped, or you might take a quick stroll through the dirt!

Current Issues:
None as far as I can tell?

Figure 8

Who doesn't love a figure 8 race?! Bomb through the infield, taking care not to plow into the traffic that seemingly comes from nowhere!

Current Issues:
None as far as I can tell. I have updated the figure 8 courses (both of them) by removing a number of tire objects from in front of the jersey barriers on the front stretch (I think I also mistakenly left a bunch hidden under the track surface previously too). This should hopefully increase performance by a bunch if you were having issues.

Figure 8 with Ramp

A figure 8 race is all well and good, but what if you added a big♥♥♥♥♥ramp in the crossing? Well, why don't you go on and find out...

Current Issues:
See above regarding the other figure 8 issues.

New!!!
High Banked Oval

So, you take the awesome track that is Ukiah Speedway, and you know what you do to it? Well, you go and drop the inside line/infield of the track by about, oh, 10 feet or so, and you see what happens. What happens is, well, what happens is what I would describe as beautiful. Have you ever watched c-beams glitter in the dark? No, well, neither have I, however, I have seen cars given a little extra, em, "oomph", and go sailing over the edge. Again, beautiful.

Current Issues:
Absolutely none. No issues at all. It's perfect. *Mwah!*

Thanks goes to The Very End, Sam223 and Purple44, and many more on the Bugbear Community forums for help, inspiration, and encouragment to get me to finish this track. Also, a HUGE thanks goes to freew67 on Youtube. His track creation tutorials really kicked my butt into figuring this stuff out, and those videos helped me out a ton.

Hi there All,

Sincere apologies for not updating all of my mods in such a long time. Life stuff got in the way, and when I did have some free time, I just didn't want to go back to this stuff as a quick read made it seem like it was going to be a pain to fix. Finally in a bit of a better head space, and with Wreckfest 2 coming out soon, figured these PROBABLY won't break again, so I looked into it, and it turned out to be a relatively easy fix. I went ahead and updated all of my track mods. At least for Wild West Motorsports Park and the Loop of Death version of Stockton 99, the devs added some tracks that essentially did the same thing (and in WWMP's case, literally the same track, haha), so you weren't missing much with my stuff being gone, but now Ukiah and Petaluma are back and playable too, which is nice for folks that like the small ovals.

EDIT: This happens on ALL of your tracks. So I won't annoy you by posting the same report on all of them. I just hope you read this one.

Hi KillerAJD,

When this mod is added, it makes all cars instantly dirty the moment the race starts (when the countdown ends). This is the same problem that occurs with TADS Gaming "UK Short Ovals"

This affects the game globally, meaning it affects ALL TRACKS i.e. the default tracks and tracks from other packs.

Went and re-checked textures. Think i managed to fix every missing one on these tracks (it's a PAIN to do so manually, so it may take me a bit to get to my other tracks). As noted in the description, you will need to download all of my tracks for all of the textures to be present (this is due to the way I set the pathing in the mod tool, as it automatically copied the path from the first track I worked on fixing the textures for (Petaluma), so most of the paths in the other tracks point to the Petaluma folder).

Updated the track, so it hopefully will now work with the latest update. Should no longer have issues loading, and shouldn't break vanilla tracks. I've only checked to see if it works with my mods, so no promises that it won't break when other mods are installed. Some missing textures still, but not sure if/when I'll get to those.

@Thunder Strike I would love to! I have some (extremely) early work done on some other tracks that I had done months and months ago, that I hope to find some time to work on in the next few months, but no guarantees I'm going to be able to get to them. Fixing these after the big update broke them was the first time I had worked on them in ages, so getting used to the workflow is gonna take awhile.

Are you planning on making anymore tracks?
jeremyc9 13 Jun, 2019 @ 11:25pm
Yep. That's the one. Disable just that one, and all is well again. Hopefully that gets fixed soon, as that's another essential mod as well.
