I might be not the biggest fan of Sven Coop, but this map looks like shit. No dark areas, and bad graphics.

I transfer a smd to a fbx and import it to SDK.

I just forget to set AnimSet in Skel's properties so it doesn't connect.

believe in karma pokerman,ill speak to rockmax for u,it is 2018 now and life isnt for downing ppl no more,yes max works hard,at the time u did flame him up the wrong way and the other stuff that had followed,myself takes stuff like that with a pinch of salt,or just dont get involved:)

all i can suggest to u is get friend that works with that with more experince to do it for u they will split it ect,then the engine will generate the proper uvs for u ,but u know- they proply fix them in the program when there at it:)

I fixed the animation.

However I am new to Blender too, I still don't know how to cut one mesh into 2 mesh....... sad

you have combined the whole map into 1 mesh,it maybe to much for the engine to generate them,that why u might be getting the error on atlas also,i would uncombine the whole map mesh, do a few tests on the meshes if u can get it to generate then that is the problem,but really get rid of unwanted verts ect and optimize the mesh in a 3d program,devs use 3ds max as far as i know dont quot me on that,as for the chopper without the animation for it ,it still can be used as u intended just have to make the physics on the skel mesh to interloping and move it in matinee via
the keyframes,also u dont need anims entry matinee as u have none

i just had a look,it isnt letting u build atlas due to the mesh itself,i needs reworked ,combined meshes for the engine,also u want to put light volume in your map this may help to generate the atlas,worth a try,only planners u can build and that will be a mess due to the angles ect u have,and yes the model is rigged bonned for the animation data for the node in animations,do u have the original animation set u ripped, format or watever it is now has to be animated into fbx

I found it need to set AnimSet in the skeletonmesh but what do you mean "skel mesh ben rigged?"

Also how do I build light UV on the terrain, it keep said "Can't Build UVs on D3DXMesh"

I use Blender to export fbx.

@pokerman did u convert the original animation set to fbx,then try to recreated new animation node fom original fbx u imported,aslo is the skel mesh ben rigged

I wouldn't do that, that lose the port meaning.

Also this map isn't tight, each area is wide and easy to dodge zeds.

BTW there's more maps ez to camp but it's not ported map.

Example : Mini green, Killing pool.

some area's are too easy to camp. maybe block them for better kf2 gameplay style perhaps?
