When I configure what enemy replacements I want prevented/allowed, and then close TBOI and reopen it, anything ive configured is set back to what was default for allowed/prevented.

A new version of this mod has been released that allows for the settings of this mod to be modified using the Mod Config Menu mod by piber20. In addition, the default settings for this mod have changed to only prevent certain problematic enemy replacement behaviours. For a full list of which replacements are prevented by default, please refer to the change notes for this update.

A new version of this mod has been released that makes it compatible with Booster Pack 5, as well as adding support for Rebirth and Booster Pack enemy replacements and console commands that allow you to toggle on and off each enemy replacement behaviour individually or as a group.

ok, thank you :)

I'm aware of this issue. The way enemy replacements are handled was changed in Booster Pack 5, which does not work with this mod's current implementation. An update should be released very soon that will fix this issue.

this mod is not working anymore after booster pack 5

@Gigobitto
I respawn the enemy because morphing doesnt give the morphed entity some attributes of what you're trying to morph it to, and it can result in some weird and buggy interactions like the enemy being unable to move or its position constantly being set to something. For example. if you morph a scared heart into a different pickup, that pickup will still run away when a player gets near it.

Im aware of that version, but Ive experienced fps stuttering (mostly probably due to the fact that hes not using "moph", but hes directly respawning the enemy. So it would be cool if you coul upload a version just for ab+. cheers :)

There's a mod uploaded by piber20 that only disables Afterbirth+ replacements. I would suggest checking that mod out if you're interested.

Can you upload a version which just prevents Afterbirth+ ones (or tell me which lines I would have to edit in your lua main file)?

A great mod.

I'm sorry, just ignore my "error report" it was just some kind of incompatibility between one of the many mods that i use. And again, very nice mod :reheart:
TaigaTreant  [author] 13 Jan, 2018 @ 7:39am
That mod doesn't seem to cause any incompatibilities. What other mods do you have installed right now?
SprSnpr_ 13 Jan, 2018 @ 7:29am
The only mod i have that probably conflicts with this is "keep unique enemies on unique floors"
TaigaTreant  [author] 13 Jan, 2018 @ 7:22am
I'm not able to recreate these bugs. What other mods do you have installed right now?
SprSnpr_ 13 Jan, 2018 @ 6:39am
Let me preface this, I think this mod is great. But on a lost run i encountered a bug where fatties that would have turned into stonies were invulnerable. restarting the game didn't change anything and had i not had a bomb to leave the room, I would have been very salty. Also i noticed that in some rooms where greed heads would have turned into those spiders that jump, they'd just teleport to the top left corner and not move at all. Idk if these are just happening because of conflicting mods or if they're actual bugs, either way I hope it gets resolved

Great mod, I always hated it that Greed can spawn Blisters or Ministros!
Piber 13 Jan, 2018 @ 12:37am
Wow, I just released a mod like this too. I hope I didn't just step all over this or something. People can still subscribe to your mod if they dont want the afterbirth replacements, as my mod doesn't revert those.
TaigaTreant  [author] 12 Jan, 2018 @ 9:24pm
I appreciate your feedback, but for now I'm going to leave the Afterbirth variants as part of the mod. The replacement behaviour is indeed less problematic for the Afterbirth variants, since the behaviour only occurs on the Afterbirth chapters, but it can still lead to unfair layouts which this mod aims to limit.

in my opinion, will be bether if you remove from the mod the enemies than are replaced with theyr special version from the alternative stages (like charger replaced by drowned charger), because theese enemies are replaced only in special stages
