Seems the map-moving system has changed. Back in the day you could just rename the mission file. Is there either an RHS DUWS for the CUP maps on the workshop, or a way to convert this over to some of the CUP maps?

tried this in multiplayer, was unable to command high command units, they simply do not acknowledge orders (I know what i'm doing); making this unplayable for us in the long run.

to change maps you need to depbo the mission.pbo. Steps: 1. copy and paste mission folder. 2. rename mission main folder to .tanoa or whatever map. 3. use eliteness to extract original map/mission. "mission.pbo" 4. then copy and paste all the files inside including mission.sqm or whatever into renamed map/main mission folder. 5. place that file in missions folder. confusing right?

i cant change the map anymore and altis is getting boring, i try renaming the file and such and it shows up in scenarios but doesnt load. Anyone else having this issue?

This edition of DUWS is really amazing. Fits my playstyle, doing long ass operations. I kinda tryed doing RU vs ISIS in Fallujah map. It's amazing.

I thing it would be better if you shoud buy weapons, not just go to weaponary and took everything you want. That`s way it it stupid ti buy sniper or maschinegunner for higher price if you can buy rifleman for 2CP and give him sniper rifle or MG.

Good music. But I captured BTR-80 and there are no music. Also I want to suggest 1 thing. I dont know if it passable in arma 3 engine. If you have enemy`s flag on your vehicle - enemies will not fire at you untill 200meters, but friends WILL fire at you untill 200meters.

Found it, you have to edit the userconfig file in the user config folder of the mod. Guy could have said so instead of filling his 'readme' files with pictures of his name.

How do I remove this stupid "DEBUG" window that comes with ZBE_cache? Fucking annoying and there's nothing that tells me how to remove it. Guy put such a stupid feature automatically having it there without any explanation on how to remove it.

Side missions did occasionally get in the way of the main purpose of caputuring zones, so I have no problem with that.

Should be working like this:
BLUFOR captures zone for first time; BLUFOR gets 50, OPFOR gets AP depending on zone size
OPFOR recaptures zone; BLUFOR gets no AP, OPFOR gets AP depending on zone size
BLUFOR recaptures zone; BLUFOR gets no AP, OPFOR gets no AP
Nay for side missions, don't like them and can't just re-enable them with all the new factions in play.

I have a question, what detemines the amount of Army Point gained for both BLUFOR and OPFOR when a zone is caputured? Sometimes it's 50 and 50 points, other times 25:50 points and so on.

I have played all DUWS mods out there and can confirm that this is certainly the best, with diveristy of factions, absense of fatal glitches like the ones I have encountered in other DUWS, and challenge it gives.


I have some suggestions, and would really appreciate it if you could just consider them a little.

- maybe bring back side missions? it's kinda sad without them

- Add Takistan faction?

- Player faction other than USA and Russia? like ISIS

Eismeer, have you run into any complications running this with Vcom? when I've been playing I've had a lot of issues with AI driving, a lot of them don't seem to want to move if there's a vehicle coming the other way so I end up with APCs and Humvees and stuff just parked in the road doing nothing, and just generally had an issue when I resumed from a save that my humvee and seemingly the others bugged where they all had no ammo registering in the gun and all had a muzzle flash stuck to the turret.

other than that I love it! been running it on Fallujah a fair bit, the urban combat and the absence of the labelled task force from the original makes it feel so much cooler and unpredictable :)

I'm taking the plunge into VR, so there will be no updates for some time, srry.
Not sure about ASR or other AI mods, because performance i use vanilla AI . You can use VA to set appearance and reload it after respawn.
I'll see about marines in future.

Hey , nice mod . Just wondering if this is compatible with ASR AI , I tried it and the Ai cant aim for shit even on elite level . Thanks for the mod , any chance you can add SSO for the Russian side and maybe fix the the player being spawned as a black dude when playing AFRF.

Can you please make a regular RHS DUWS? The one that is already on the workshop has a saving issue, so it pretty much makes it unplayable, if you really don't want to make it, I can pay you money

Thanks for the reply. I noticed red dots on the map which I assume is meant to tell where a enemy last has been seen so I am just patrolling around those dots

Altis is big:). And bases are usually evenly spread all over island. Restrict max zone dist. from HQ to increase chance of contact. I usually bump into enemy on main roads, after that locating base is fairly easy.

Dude, It is fucking impossible to find any enemy. I hae been scouting all of Altis for 1 fucking hour and I haven't found any dirty american soldiers. Do you have a tactic for finding the enemy and their bases? I am playing singleplayer btw as Russia

Requesting independent team is just so you can have units from that faction in your squad if you want to, nothing more:)
Patrols will generally move towards firefights, supporting other groups in random radius up to 8km, but not directly towards enemy zones as that would beat the purpose of having hidden zones. Although in new version you'll be able to set where you want them to move in general. If they manage to capture enemy zone they'll not leave the area until it's clear from enemies and then they'll setup a FOB if it's not already created by player.
AI limiter is per side, so having AI limit of 175 per side can result in 3 times as that in total.

Loving the scenario mate. But still not 100% sure how it works. I set the maximum AI at 175 which its already set on, yet after about an hour of play time ZBE Cache status, was showing me that there were 550 AI on the map.. Also with the friendly AI patrols do they move toward enemy zones? One more thing whats the point of the independent team/squad, why are they called independent when they just join your squad?
