Most of the factions are playable from the above listed mods however IFA_AIO_LITE and Secret Weapons are both required to be loaded when using the other listed mods due to a lack of vehicles and aircraft in said mods.

DUWS_X is a dynamic sandbox, Sector Control mission generator. Pick your factions, plop down a HQ, choose your campaign parameters, generate the enemy zones then go kick some @$$. Execute missions and gain resources to help BLUFOR capture the enemy zones. Play the way you want: be a Lone Wolf, a Squad Leader or control a small army, the choice is yours.

Based on DUWS-R. Added features from DUWS Modified/Overhauled.

HOW TO PLAY

Campaign Mode
- play SMALL. DUWS_X is for small scale warfare, not whole island warfare. 8-10 zones max. 1500m max radius. The campaign can be extended when you cap all zones by returning to the HQ officer and select "End Mission" or "Extend". End will reset and take you back to the lobby, Extend will generate new zones, Rinse, Repeat.

MODs REQUIRED.

This version of DUWS has a re-worked FACTION system. You (BLUFOR) can play as ANY faction and OPFOR can be ANY faction. If you want to play as IFA US ARMY(blue) vs IFA UK ARMY(red) or IFA WEHRMACHT(blue) versus IFA FALLSCHIRMJAGERS(red) then go right ahead. This scenario is agnostic to the side that factions are assigned in CfgVehicle.

Use the REQUEST MENU for Side Missions and Purchasing Units, Vehicles, Supports and HC Squads. Use the FOB Manager to teleport between FOBs and HQ.

HQ and Radio Supports for:
- VA Arsenal, Supply Drops
- Vehicle Refit
- HALO Jump, Recon Plane
- Heli Taxi, Boat Taxi
- Artillery, Mortar, Air Strike
- CAS Fighter, CAS Fighter/Bomber
- Paratroop Drop
- FOB Request after first zone capture
- SITREP for enabling SAVE.

AI LOADOUTS
- Loadout Transfer option at HQ, FOBs and Supply Drop scroll menu. Choose a loadout from Arsenal then have one AI unit stand near you (2m). Choose "Transfer Loadout to AI" and your loadout will copy to the AI unit.
- Supply Drop has an AI ReArm option for default loadouts
- Arsenal Available at HQ, FOBs and Supply Drop.

SAVING
- use (0,8) SITREP to enable saving. SP and MP (no dedi save).
- I suggest using the PBO if you want to save sessions.
- Steam/ARMA updates will bork a saved game. Disable updates when saving games (schedule when PC sleeps).
- Mods will bork a saved game. If you exit ARMA make sure you reload the exact same mods as the saved game or it wont show RESUME.
- Saving in MP: only Alpha 1-1 (host) can save. JIP players will lose purchased supports on any game exit. I don't know how to save these.

REVIVE / RESPAWN - AIS Revive script
- SP has AIS Revive by default. Your AI Medics will revive you. Press H to call help or ('6' menu, "Treat Squad Leader") also works.
- Operators are Revivable, not grunts.
- MP has AIS Revive or None (MP params). Squad Leaders have Medic ability.
- RESPAWN is Vanilla. MP only. Respawn at HQ, FOBs or Spawn Tents
- AIS should disable itself if ACE is detected.

OTHER FEATURES
- 8 Side Missions. Mission Cancel option on HQ menu.
- Zeus for Host/Alpha 1-1. Disable in MP Params.
- R3F Logistics for picking up objects, slingloading, builder vehicle for deploying static objects like fortifications.
- Random Zones spawn closer to towns, factories and military sites.
- 20 slots for MP Squad Leaders. Alpha 1-1 has 7 squad members with roles.
- All Squad Leaders have Universal Soldier (Engineer and Medic abilities).
- Changed all enemy zone spawns to wait until "blufor near".
- AI commanders get aircraft and more armor at higher AP levels.


OTHER MAPS

As with all DUWS, this can be played on any map. Just change the PBO name and copy to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Missions" for singleplayer scenarios or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\MPMissions" for multiplayer/coop.

Smaller Maps - If you choose Random, reduce the zone size and distance. Keeps zones from spawning off the edge.

I will not be uploading other maps anymore. Too much hassle. Just download the PBO and rename to your favorite map.


MULTIPLAYER LAN / DEDICATED SERVER

Alpha 1-1 must be LAN host. Only Alpha 1-1 can place the HQ and request missions. All JIP Squad Leaders can Request Units/Vehicles/Supports. Command Points are shared. Some Supports are not shared. Saving in Multiplayer/LAN (not dedicated).

Dedicated server has persistence. Once Alpha 1-1 starts the mission all players may leave/rejoin and the AI will continue fighting each other. HC squads will ignore you if you disconnect/reconnect on dedi server.

Just wanted to pop by and say thanks for adding the Spearhead 1944 factions and keeping DUWSX going. its basically the only scenario me and my friends use.

Its probably an Arma 3 update or possibly an IFA3 update thats broken something, it used to work.

maybe its because is seems like a normal transport logi and not an ammo logi so the sidemission doesnt recognize it. IFA Red Army Woodland to be more precise just for record. isnt gamemode breaking tho we could stil just capture the zones only the sidemission cancel bugged away. Wish u a good Weekend

Yeah no worries, its hard to tell sometimes who's being ungrateful, some of the comments get pretty annoying and most haven't read the description or the how to play doc.
