Update: 11 Aug @ 12:55pm

The Beersheba faction is now Edom because Edom actually did control lands this far west as is on the map, which I didn't realise was the case; thought they only controlled the lands just east of the map at this time.

Nimrud is also called Kalhu now, as that was the Assyrian name while Nimrud/ Nimrod was a name given in the Bible.

Update: 1 Apr @ 2:03pm

Changed Moab to Ammon and the city Dibon to Iktanu (the walled capital should be Ammon itself but that goes beyond just renaming stuff). Made this mod super early on when I didn't know that just made the entire river thick when traditionally the bottom portion's thick and the top portion's thin leading to a round top of the lake. So I initially though the whole river was just the bottom half, so Moab was too far north.

Update: 20 Jan @ 4:17pm

Sparta is now Lakedaimon and Ramesses is now Ramesses III.

Update: 19 Jan @ 7:37pm

Quick change for the Delta settlement Sai (also called Sais which is the Greek name) to Zau, the ancient Egyptian name for it. Can't believe I didn't notice this before.

Update: 19 Nov, 2024 @ 10:22am

Changed season 3: from "Harvest+Autumn/ Winter" to "Harvest/ Autumn" because the game doesn't really have any winter environments and "Harvest+Autumn" doesn't often fit in the save file with the limited characters.

Hotfix

Update: 16 Sep, 2024 @ 10:01am

- Renamed horsemen units for the Mesopotamian factions to be different versions of Cimmerian horsemen, that way Cimmerians get some rep in the game in a way that's realistic and this is the most realistic way horsemen can be in the game, if you're not using the 'Cavalry Removed' mod.
- Kerman units renamed to Kushite units. Was mistaken in my research that the Nubian kingdom prior to New Kingdom Egypt's conquest was called the Kingdom of Kerma, when it was just Kush with it's capital in Kerma. There are three periods of Kushite history: the Kerma Period, the Napata Period, and the Meroe Period. So it makes sense for them to be called Kushite/ Kush at this time.
- Seasons renamed to better capture the entirety of the seasons of the year. Only changes the seasons naming convention.

(Kelly and I have been working on the garrison problems for Mesopotamia, which have proven to be much harder than originally thought. Thank you for your patience)
