  • Added flags so that all marriages of love created in the LMF events work with the Relationships of Weddings Expanded mod.
  • Fixed instance of post-elopement marriage which didn't check for possible matrilineal marriage requirement.

Also added ANSF3 update:
  • Changed default game rule to be decision only - the Create Family character interactions are only available to the player if they specifically change the game rule to allow it.
  • Characters that are given illegal flaws will be immediately forgiven by their current liege.
  • Added some logic so that you can't give both a secret and the associated trait at the same time, and that the flaw traits only show as available when appropriate.
  • Added a quick fix so that using the "Special" category for trait modification while having the AGOT mod loaded caused the game to crash. It now works fine, and as an added bonus also offers the AGOT-specific lifestyle traits.
  • Fixed some minor loc bugs.

Updated to 1.11.4.

Aside from some very minor loc fixes, I've imported the new changes from ANSF3:

  • The once-per-dynasty limitation on the Reflect on Your Family decision is now once-per-house instead.
  • There are now two character interactions (you'll find them in the Uncommon, or right window, under the Personal category) called 'Create Family' and 'Create Random Family'. This first allows you to use the regular event chain to add parents and siblings to any courtier or landed ruler, so long as they or age 50 or below and have a dynasty. The second interaction has the characters created randomly, without your need to make selections, with 0 to 3 siblings created. Both of these are subject to the once-per-house limitation.
  • Added a game rule to either restrict players to solely using the decision, using that decision only within the first year, or even loosening restrictions and getting rid of the once-per-house limitation. There's also a game rule to completely disable ANSF, for multiplayer games where ANSF is included with other mods.

  • Added some new outcome events for failed seductions (the ones that notify the liege) - in particular, some events for situations where a woman is the seducer and which paint her in a less masculine/predatory role.
  • Amended the "likely to take lover" condition to include more married homosexuals.

Added in changes to ANSF3:
  • Added the ability to change sexuality and add flaw traits, secrets, and "special" traits (such as Monk/Nun, Shieldmaiden, etc.). Some of these (the flaw traits, in particular) you add at your own risk.
  • The parameter GUI for your spouse's parents or for a spouse without parents now allows you to set the culture/faith template without leaving that to be random.
  • Skills shown in the character window will now update their values as you make changes.
  • The variable which prevents a dynasty from using the main ANSF decision is now only added to the player's dynasty (and any dynasty you join, if you change dynasties during the event chain). It previously added the variable to your parents' dynasties, regardless of whether or not you joined them.
  • The upper range age for half-siblings has been fixed.
  • Added a label to the new parameter button, so it's more noticeable.
  • Added the new parameter system to the "other parent" when creating a half-sibling.

Opdatering: 13. jan. 2024 kl. 15:12

  • More stupid coding mistakes fixed.
  • Made it so that, if the "Far More Marriage" game rule is active, those seeking marriage will also search in neighboring realms and not solely within the player's realm.

Opdatering: 13. jan. 2024 kl. 4:47

Fixed a stupid coding bug that prevented the new auto-guardian event from working.

Opdatering: 12. jan. 2024 kl. 18:36

  • Added the missing AI modifier from Travel the Distance into the Elope interaction.
  • Fixed the event where children ask to switch from martial education not properly assigning them to their new guardian.
  • Courtier children who are not hostages or close relatives to any ruler now will have guardians automatically assigned. The selected guardian will have a preference in being their close relative, but otherwise they'll be assigned the best guardian available in the same court.

Opdatering: 12. jan. 2024 kl. 5:38

  • LMF is now inherently compatible with Travel the Distance.
  • Added some possible childhood events where children that are doing poorly at their martial education can ask to switch to another focus. Children that would much prefer to receive martial training, and would be good at it, can also ask to switch... and this includes girls in cultures/faiths where they would not normally get to fight. If they receive martial education and truly excel, they might receive the modifier that exempts them from gender combat rules.
  • Primary heirs now receive training for rulership past the age of 12. If they continue that training long enough without receiving a landed title of their own, they can gain a Trained Heir trait which has four progressive levels. A primary heir with the Trained Heir trait can be granted one of your titles even if their gender would normally not allow it.
  • When an unmarried courtier who becomes pregnant tells the real father, he now has the option to propose marriage on the spot (if he's able to get married). They'll ask permission, as with any other marriage, and if permission is granted it'll spare both of them from receiving the Fornicator trait.
  • There is now a "Far More Marriage" setting for the Scheming Courtiers game rule. This has all the effects of the default "More Scheming" setting, but marriage proposals from courtiers will happen more often (and there is no longer an enforced cooldown on the player receiving marriage requests).

Updates for ANSF3:
  • Biggest change you'll notice is that ANSF3 now includes custom guis - you can set parameters such as exact age, education type, and other things for the next character that gets generated. Changing the traits for a character is no longer a series of events where you randomly hope to get what you want - it is now a gui that lists the traits they have and gives you a drop-down list to change them.
  • If your mother is alive and the house head, she'll now be the target for the death event at the end of the event series instead of your father.
  • If you can't use a character due to an invalid twin trait, it'll now display why.

I'll probably be expanding the age ranges allowed in the parameter gui, and likely adding a few other new things to the trait changing gui, but that'll come in time. For now, I simply wanted to recreate what existed before, and those are all the parameters and traits that you can currently add/change.

Opdatering: 29. dec. 2023 kl. 4:38

  • Elope schemes can now target devoted (nuns and monks) and members of holy orders. If they do end up eloping, they lose their former religious trait and gain a Broke Vows trait instead - which still prevents them from inheriting but does allow them to marry, in addition to a hefty opinion malus with members of their faith.
  • Elope schemes are now automatically accepted by soulmates. Some acceptance modifiers have been adjusted for lovers, making the result lean more heavily on opinion rather than normal marriage acceptance modifiers.
  • A new "Confront About Lover" character interaction has been added, which allows you to confront close family members who either have a secret lover you know about or are openly having an affair. You can demand they break up or even get married, if both are in a position to do so.

Opdatering: 22. dec. 2023 kl. 19:17

  • Added game rules for the frequency of family feasts as well as the application of fertility & birth complication modifiers, since they've been requested (though I recommend leaving both at default). Also prettied up the LMF game rules so they're easier to spot.
  • By default, fertility modifiers are now only potentially added when the mother is 25+ or on her 4th (or later) child. The chances of temporary post-partum depression still apply normally, as do most birth complications (including the higher chance of complication for the very first birth).

Opdatering: 20. dec. 2023 kl. 20:14

  • Raised the bar slightly on AI willingness to take on lovers which would be illegal for their gender if discovered.
  • Courtiers of the non-dominant gender for their faith are unlikely to initiate seduction schemes (though they can be targeted, of course) if they aren't either very bold, deviants, or have the Seducer/Rakish traits.
  • Fixed some scoping errors in the few of the feast events (which sometimes would result in a rival or revealed secret scope turning up blank) as well as some minor loc fixes.
  • Some other minor bug fixes.
