1.7.0 Patch Notes


New features:
- Added the Rising Violence effect to the Abyssal Bow.
- Added the Crom's Doom effect to Sword of Crom and reduced its stamina costs. The weapon is now also fully usable by thralls.
- Added the new Savage Hunger set bonus to the epic version of Darfari Skin armour.
- Added the new Divine Intuition set bonus to Asura armour.
- Added the new Spirited Tussle set bonus to Black Corsair armour (variant B, not the one from Siptah).
- Added the new Winterstorm set bonus to Pride of Aesir armour. Its armour value has been increased to be competitive with thrall-crafted armours.
- Added the new Frostbite effect to Black Ice weapons. Black Ice weapons can now be Bloodforged. The stats have been improved to make them competitive with thrall-crafted weapons.
- Added the new Rushing Flurry effect to Whirlwind Blades, Havoc & Malice, and Hunger Blades. No bloodforged versions just yet, I need to get a handle on how strong they are first.


Issue fixes:
- Corrected the low durability of Bloodforged Outer Dark weapons.
- The Brother of the Mists (Midnight Grove) will no longer "double up" on bird attacks if he enters the mists while on low health.
- Refactored the spawning behaviour of the Silent Legion Marshal to hopefully fix the issue of t-posing dummy skeletons in the doorway.
- The Silent Legion Marshal will now take an extra 1% of his maximum health in damage with each weapon attack against him. This is an attempted workaround to alleviate compatibility issues with OmegaCellarBossBoost, as that mod edits core values that cause him to scale much harder than he should.


NPC changes:
- Changed the health threshold at which the Brother of the Mists starts repeatedly spawning bird attacks from 30% to 20%.
- Added a cooldown to the Brother of the Mists' bucking attacks so that he can't spam them.
- The Khari Remnant minibosses (Wine Cellar) will once again wield Khari weapons as intended. One of them now wields a 1h axe instead of a hammer.


Item balance changes:
- Destroyer and Abyssal Maul now share the Rising Violence effect with Carnage.
- Blackheart Hammer now shares the Pact of Violence effect with Blackheart Blade.
- Lemurian Sword now shares the Royal Clout effect with Lemurian Pike.
- The Crom's Doom effect now has odds weighted 60/40 in favour of the wielder, changed from 50/50.
- Ymir's Targe (Warmaker's Sanctuary) now has the Plundering effect instead of Reactive Chill. Equipping the shield cleanses negative status effects and your blocks strip the attacker of food and elixir buffs.
- Upped the armour rating on each piece of the Pride of Aesir set and upped the bonus strength weapon damage on its Gauntlets to bring the set's overall stat value in line with others.
- Upped the bonus strength weapon damage on the entire epic Darfari Skin set to bring its overall stat value in line with others.
- Balias, Mordlun, Ranissan and Yog's Touch (Warmaker's Sanctuary) now share the Adjutant's Curse effect with Nortis.
- Tweaked the Set's Domination effect. It now always deals at least 20 damage to the target, scaling up from there based on the health of the dragged thrall. The dragged thrall now takes 1% of their health in damage each time, down from 10%. Upon the dragged thrall's death the damage bonus now lasts 3 minutes, up from 1 minute and the heal now lasts 60 seconds, up from 5.
- The Zathite Temperence effect (Zathite Temple Dancer armour) now always deals a minimum of 15 bonus damage, scaling past that based on the existing formula.
- The Ritual Dancers' Boon effect (Zathite Spear) now always deals at least 20 damage and heals the dancer for at least 20, scaling past that based on health.


Visual changes:
- Corrected and normalised the transparency of many ODO buff icons.
- Adjusted the volume of almost every sound effect in the mod. This one's for you, headphone users.
- Corrected the name of the buff from Lemurian Bow from Royal Spotter to Death Warrant.
- Corrected the icon layer order for ODO armours.
- Removed and edited some journey steps to reflect the changes to Destroyer, Blackheart Blade, and Lemurian Sword.

1.6.2 Patch Notes


New features:
- Added buttons to the ODO player options panel linking to Ko-Fi, Discord, and the mod documentation.
- Added a special "O" mark to the icons of every weapon or armour piece that is overhauled in this mod, allowing easy identification of which items are worth a closer look.


Issue fixes:
- Fixed an issue with the Vow of Vengeance effect (Cimmerian Fur) that was causing it to stack when it shouldn't.
- Corrected gameplay and visual tags for Carnage and Destroyer to indicate that they are Epic instead of Legendary in line with Funcom's Age of War changes.


Item balance changes:
- Reduced the level requirements of T2 religious feats from 20 to 10.
- Reduced the level requirements of T3 religious feats from 50 to 30.
- Reduced the level requirements of T4 religious feats from 60 to 50.
- Changed the way Serpentine Zeal (Serpent-men weapons) works. It now restores 90 stamina and 10 health upon landing a finisher. There is no longer any RNG; it always procs. The shield restores 20 health on block, but no stamina. Can only occur once every second.


Visual changes:
- Corrected the icon borders for several items to accurately represent their rarity (Epic, Legendary, Unique).

1.6.0 Patch Notes


New features:
- Overhauled the Cimmerian Fur armour set with the Vow of Vengeance effect, making the wearer more dangerous in a brawl. See the documentation for full details.
- Overhauled the Cimmerian Steel armour set with the Crom's Belligerence effect, allowing the wearer to act as a tank for groups. See the documentation for full details.
- Added a wall to the Silent Legion Marshal's room to provide players with some cover from the grenadiers if they're able to play around it.

Issue fixes:
- Corrected the long descriptions for Khari Soldier armour and Setite Shield.
- Fixed the item ID associations between regular and Bloodforged Outer Dark weapons, so that the correct weapon will be awarded now.
- Fixed a math error in the armour scaling of the epic Relic Hunter set that was causing inconsistent values.
- Fixed the Sandsquall effect (Khari weapons) erroneously doing damage to structures.
- Fixed the Death Warrant effect (Lemurian Bow) proccing from indirect damage like black holes. It can now only proc from a direct hit with a bow.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing the completion of step 8 of the Midnight Grove dungeon journey.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing completion of step 5 of the King Beneath journey.

Item balance changes:
- The black hole formed by Outer Dark weapons now has a short delay between when it procs and when the pulling effect and damage ticks start. It's timed to synchronise with the visual and audio effects. The overall duration remains unchanged.
- Axe of the Gate Guardian's damage calculation no longer scales with duplicate keys.

1.5.2 Patch Notes
Another hotfix to correct a couple of other small issues that were found since the last one.

Issue fixes:
- Corrected the stats of the Reptilian Helmet
- Corrected some missing descriptions for the Bloodforged versions of Outer Dark weapons

Item balance changes:
- The black hole formed by Outer Dark weapons no longer damages player-built structures and now has a reduced pulling effect on thralls, pets, and mounts

1.5.1 Patch Notes
Just a quick hotfix to correct some stray decimal points and other little but important stuff that was missed in the hours of staring at data tables.

Issue fixes:
- Corrected the XP values for the Silent Legion Marshal, Occultist, and Grenadiers.
- Corrected the hilariously high bonus agility weapon damage for Reptilian armour.
- Took the bonus agility weapon damage that was erroneously added to the Silent Legion Light helmet and put it on the Zathite Dancer Shinguards where it belongs.

1.5.0 Patch Notes


New features:

- Added descriptions of what each weapon and armour set does to the long descriptions of those items.
- Reworded many of the ODO Journeys to generally be less wordy and smoother to read, making use of the new long descriptions to shift some text off them.
- Added some extra pieces of debris in strategic places in the Dregs to reduce the ledge guarding problem and make it easier to climb up out of the water on laggy servers.
- Added Silent Legion Grenadiers to the Black Keep, replacing some of the extra skeleton spawns that the mod added previously. My goal is to maintain difficulty but reduce frustrating swarming situations.
- Added a new boss to the ground floor of the Black Keep: the Silent Legion Marshal. He commands the Grenadiers to his aid while wielding Telith's Lament with an unusual degree of skill (he only does good combos).
- Added a new locked door to the ground floor of the Black Keep. The Silent Legion Marshal drops the key. The key is not consumed on use.
- Added a new optional boss to the middle floor of the Black Keep: the Silent Legion Occultist. Over eons of forbidden study, exchanging flesh for power, this reclusive scholar has uncovered world-shattering secrets. Will you claim his power for your own?
- Overhauled the Outer Dark weapons. They now have a chance on hit to form a miniature black hole. See the documentation for full details. The recipe drops from the Silent Legion Occultist. Outer Dark weapons can be bloodforged.
- Added 4 new journey steps to the Black Keep journey introducing the player to the Silent Legion Marshal, Grenadiers, and Occultist, and the newly reworked Outer Dark weapons.
- Added a stone sickle to improve the early game experience.
- Overhauled the Sobek armour set with the Sobeki Cunning effect. Swimming while wearing it charges up empowered attacks which can then be strung together after leaving the water, mimicking the hunting style of a real crocodile.
- Overhauled the Relic Hunter (Epic) set with the Greedy Pockets effect. You gain bonus armour based on how much treasure you're carrying. If overencumbered with a lot of treasure you become immune to stagger and your attacks have a chance to knock the target down and away.




Issue fixes:
- Fixed an issue with ODO journeys failing to unlock.
- Fixed an issue in which the Brother of the Blood's shield particle effect sometimes wouldn't stop after his invulnerability had ended.
- Fixed an issue where Apep Chaosforged's human allies would attack him on spawn.
- Fixed an issue with the second Mutant Broodling on the Yuxa of the Brood fight sometimes not spawning.
- Fixed a missing texture on Yuxa of the Brood's broodlings.
- Fixed an issue in which Bloodforged weapons would be destroyed on death if the server was set to have players drop their items on death, but it may cause them to drop as loot in unexpected places. Please report if this happens!
- Fixed an issue with Telith's Sorrow's chance-on-hit buff overwriting food and elixir buffs.
- Added a missing set bonus tag to the Lemurian Royal, Lemurian Warrior, Reptilian, Rusted, and Abyssal sets.
- Due to the change in how the Usurping effect works, the King Beneath journey is now possible to complete in single-player.




NPC changes:
- Reduced the Brother of the Night's health from 75,000 to 71,000
- The Brother of the Night's empowered attack now deals slightly less damage.
- Empowered attacks by the player against the Brother of the Night have been buffed slightly.
- Slightly reduced the attack damage of the Brother of the Mists.
- Slightly reduced the attack speed of the Brother of the Blood.
- Removed the spawn-camping skeletons from the entrance of the Black Keep.
- Reduced the damage of the Khari Remnant minibosses in the Wine Cellar by ~30%.
- Moved the Skeleton Chiefs before the final boss of the Dregs back a bit so that they're less likely to come running out of the tunnel.
- Increased the maximum health of the Silent Legion Lieutenants summoned by the Kinscourge from 258 to 374.


Item balance changes:
- Added a very small amount of stagger to unarmed attacks to make the Hyena-Fur set feel better to use.
- Refactored the blueprint of Gate Guardian's Axe to look for any item with the gameplay tag 'Item.Key', allowing it to detect and scale with keys from other mods provided they're tagged correctly.
- The Sanguine Boon effect (Blood-Moon and Executioner weapons) now has reduced lifesteal when used by thralls to bring it more in line with what a player would get.
- Lemurian Warrior armour's Mark of Honour effect now works in PVE; if the mark is applied to an NPC then it can be detonated by landing an attack on that target, dealing bonus damage and healing the player.
- The stamina restored by Serpent-men weapons on hit has been increased from 10 to 30, to better reflect the Age of War stamina changes.
- The healing applied by Reptilian Armour has been increased from 5% health to 8%, and the minimum healing amount has been increased from 40 HP to 60 HP.
- Khari Subjugation (Pristine Khari Sword) now drains 18 stamina per tick, up from 5, to better reflect the Age of War stamina changes.
- The cooldown of Yoggite Skin's invulnerability effect has been reduced from 60 seconds to 18 seconds.
- The Phoenix-Engraved Sword's Penitents' Immolation effect may now only damage the wielder once every second regardless of how many times it procced during that second.
- The Tenderizer's Tender Flesh effect now deals bonus damage equal to 1/2/3% of the target's missing health if the target is a boss, down from 3/6/9%.
- The Staff of Epemitreus's Mitrean Expulsion effect now only consumes up to 20 corruption per tick, but deals 3 damage for each point of corruption that was removed. The stamina cost of each tick has been reduced from 50 to 35.
- Telith's Sorrow's stagger resistance effect may now also be triggered by being hit as well as by attacking. The effect now has a 14 second cooldown.
- Upped the bonus stats on many armour sets to keep up with bazaar power creep and make the choices more impactful. Sets affected include Silent Legion, Lemurian Royal, Reptilian, Lemurian Warrior, Godbreaker, Rusted, Relic Hunter, Ymir's, Derketo Acolyte's, Zathite Dancer, Mitraen, Setite, and Yoggite Skin.
- Increased the duration of Khari Overseer's stacking strength buff from 3 seconds to 5 seconds.
- Increased the bonus strength damage of Silent Legion Medium's Revenge effect from 2% per stack to 5% per stack.
- Godbreaker's Unstoppable Force effect now also deals a large chunk of true damage to the target if they're an NPC with more maximum health than the user.
- The Abyssal set from sorcery no longer deals damage to the wearer when its effect procs.
- The Silent Legion and Redeemed Legion sets now restore stamina to the wearer over time instead of all at once, making the stamina more usable.
- Balias and Mordlun now deal true damage instead of corruption if the target was not a player.
- Refactored the Arena Champion set's Taking All Comers effect to better detect who ran from who. Also added a secondary effect to make it useful in PVE: if the Challenger is a non-player then your attacks against them also grant you stacking bonus armour temporarily.
- Kingslayer Polearm and Kingslayer Daggers' Usurping effect now works against boss NPCs. Bosses count as being level 61.

1.4.4 Patch Notes


New features:
- ODO config is now accessible through a button in the emote menu. All previous options still require admin permission to view, but there are now some new options available to all players. The menu remains accessible through the old console command as well.
- Added options for players to disable the custom special effects that play when ODO weapon or armour effects are activated, for those who find them unimmersive.
- Many ODO damage-over-time effects will now deal 30% less damage on each tick if the victim is blocking with a shield when that tick happens.
- Overhauled the epic Hyena-Fur armour set which can be crafted or found on the bodies of some Saggite and Dogs of the Desert thralls. It enhances unarmed combat, offering a new way to play the game. Check the documentation for full details. Also changed the stat bonuses on this set: all pieces now have health and concussive damage.
- Overhauled the Blood-Moon weapons (found in the Midnight Grove) and the Executioner's weapons (found in the Executioner's Cave). These weapons have the Sanguine Boon effect. See the documentation for full details.
- Added a new option to the stamina regen setting: Last Roll Pauses Regen. This option makes it so that if the player runs out of stamina by rolling, their stamina regen will be paused for 2 seconds. Running out of stamina by sprinting, jumping, or attacking has no penalty. This most closely replicates the old exhaustion system without penalising attacks. Players can act freely but spamming roll won't be a good tactic.


Issue fixes:
- Fixed an issue that was causing the Forge of Ancient Blood to sometimes eat items put into it by shift-clicking. Due to the unique inventory layout of the Forge, items must always be dragged into its slots. Sorry controller players.
- Fixed a missing material on the Forge of Ancient Blood.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing completion of the 10th Wine Cellar journey step under some circumstances.
- Fixed an issue that was causing the Warmaker's Champion's arena hazards to deal more damage than intended to pets.
- Fixed an issue with the Yoggite Bone Spear that was preventing it from being thrown.
- Made a small performance optimisation in the way the dodge penalty is applied.


NPC changes:
- The Mark of Might buff from the Brother of the Moon now gains increased duration for each other player nearby, allowing groups of players a better chance to use the empowered attack.


Item balance changes:
- Increased the base armour values for Setite, Yoggite, Mitraen, and Derketan religious armour sets to reflect their cost and give them a better place in the meta.
- Increased the chance for Lemurian Royal Armour's Royal Authority effect to trigger when the wearer is hit.
- The Blood-Moon weapons are now Legendary to reflect their new power.
- Increased the durability of Blood-Moon weapons to reflect their Legendary status.
