1.10.0 Patch Notes

New features:
- New smart proc system! Effects with a chance to activate when you hit a target are now more likely to activate the more stamina that attack cost. Effects with a chance to activate when you are hurt are more likely to activate the bigger that hit was relative to your max health. Some exceptions apply, see documentation.
- Increased the damage of Hunger Blades and added Bloodforged versions of Whirlwind Blades / Havoc and Malice.
- Expanded the Lemurian (non-ancient) family of weapons to include a 2h sword and daggers, using the Royal Clout effect. Both can be Bloodforged.
- Added the Khari Acuity effect to Pristine Khari Sword and Daggers, replacing Devious Toxin. Devious Toxin is now found on Abysmal weapons.
- Expanded the Abysmal arsenal of weapons with a new 2h sword, 1h mace, 2h mace, 1h axe, 2h axe, shortsword, spear, and dual wield axes. These weapons come with the Devious Toxin effect and can all be bloodforged. Recipes are integrated into the existing feats for Abysmal weapons. The old effects from the daggers and sword are now retired.
- Added the Betrayer's Resolve effect to Telith's Lament, replacing Betrayer's Succour. Betrayer's Succour will now be found on Dragonbone weapons under a different name.
- Expanded the Telith's arsenal of weapons to include a new 1h axe, 2h axe, 1h mace, 2h mace, and spear. Each of these can be Bloodforged and uses the Betrayer's Resolve effect. Recipes are integrated into the existing feat for Kinscourge weapons.
- Added the Betrayer's Succour effect to Dragonbone weapons (excluding arrows), now called Draconic Succour, and adapted it to trigger on blocks and bow/thrown hits too. Dragonbone weapons retain their previous sunder effect too. The recipes are unchanged, making Dragonbone weapons an excellent mid-game option for getting started in the dungeons.
- *Added Bloodforged versions of Dragonbone weapons (excluding shield, arrows, and thrown). Bloodforged thrown weapons are planned for a future update.
- Added Acheronian Daggers and added the cripple effect from Daggers of Dagon to all Acheronian weapons. No bloodforged versions of Acheronian weapons for now, for balance reasons.
- Added the new Undertow effect to Ancient Lemurian weapons and Daggers of Dagon, replacing their existing effects. The fish catching from the sword is kept on all of them as a little bonus.
- Expanded the Ancient Lemurian arsenal of weapons adding a 2h axe, a pair of claws, and a 2h agility spear with the sweeping moveset (Spear of Dagon). All come with the new Undertow effect and can be bloodforged. Recipes are integrated into the existing feats for Ancient Lemurian/Dagon weapons.


Issue fixes:
- Fixed durability values for all Bloodforged Black Ice weapons, which were lower than they should have been.
- Fixed some incorrect tags for Bloodforged Outer Dark and Black Ice weapons.
- Fixed an issue with the Skelos Cultist armour's effect that was causing it to trigger in the middle of spell selection. It's intended to only trigger at the beginning of spell selection.

Balance changes:
- Limited the rate at which damage can be dealt by touching the walls of an infernal prison to 1 per half-second.
- Earthquake will no longer affect targets in the area who are in the air (ie, jumping).
- Multiple Earthquakes can no longer be stacked on top of one another.
- Adjusted the health threshold of Silent Legion Light's healing effect triggering from <60% to <80% max health.
- Draconic Succour (previously Betrayer's Succour) now centres its effect on the hit target instead of the wielder. This is to accommodate its use with ranged weapons. It can now occur on multiple targets per weapon swing, with a short internal cooldown for each target to prevent overlapping animation and sound issues.
- Infernal Prison's duration is now halved if a player is trapped inside.

Visual changes:
- Fixed a typo with the buff name for Penitents' Immolation (Phoenix-Engraved Sword)
- Fixed numerous item descriptions that were out of date or inaccurate.
- Changed the health bar of the Wight of Khari from 2 skulls to 1 skull.
- Updated numerous journey steps to reflect changes made to the items or bosses they describe. In some cases old journey steps have been removed. Please report any issues that arise for players who were on those steps previously!
- Restored the particle effects after rolling with Khari Soldier's set bonus.
- Updated the meshes of the Abysmal sword and daggers to match the expanded arsenal thematically.

1.9.0 Patch Notes

New features:
- Reworked the set bonus effect for the Zathite Dancer costume (Zathite Temperence), making it useful in a group support role. Check documentation for full details.
- Reworked the set bonus effect for the Derketo Acolyte set (Derketan Salacity), making it more usable in both PvE and PvP with built-in health sustain. Check documentation for full details.
- Reworked the 19th journey step for Glory of the Exile. Instead of requiring you to kill a 3-skull boss with the damage from Taking All Comers, it now requires you to kill a 3-skull boss with a fully-stacked Ferine Slugger combo heavy attack.
- The harvest bonus from Overlord's Tools of Lunacy now persists for up to 8 seconds after sheathing the tool, allowing for quick switches to weapons or for short climbs without losing stacks. The harvest bonus now also carries between tools (stacking up with an Overlord pick will let you use those stacks with your Overlord cleaver).
- Overhauled the Reinforced Skelos Cultist set with the Dread Augury set bonus, allowing the wearer to push enemies away when casting spells. Also changed the stats of the pieces to make them more well-rounded and useful for a variety of builds.

Issue fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the Infernal Prison could be clipped through from the inside by players.
- Hopefully fixed the t-posing and animation issues with The Watcher Above. Hopefully. Getting this to work post-AoW has been a bitch and it used to be easy.
- Fixed an issue with the sound effects from Firestorm persisting after the spell had ended.
- Added an auto cleanup function to the Firestorm actor to hopefully fix the issue of the portal to hell at 0,0,0.

Balance changes:
- Removed the Khari Subjugation effect from Pristine Khari Sword. It now has Devious Toxin, shared with Pristine Khari Daggers.
- Changed the 4th ingredient to craft Black Corsair Tasset from Blackcove Rum to Shroom Beer. They weren't meant to be that difficult to craft.
- Changed the bonus strength damage on Pride of Aesir Gauntlets from 1.2% to the intended 12%. Decimal was in the wrong place.
- Slightly reduced the frequency of bird attacks from the Brother of the Mists (Midnight Grove).
- Reduced the frequency of add spawns from the Kinscourge from every 15 seconds to every 17 seconds.
- Reduced the maximum potential frequency of add spawns from the Witch Queen from every 16 seconds to every 18 seconds.
- Added hyper armour to the casting animations for Condense Power, Infernal Prison, and Firestorm (after selecting the spell with the rocks menu, it will no longer be interruptable). Might do the rest of Destruction magic later depending on how this goes - it has balance implications. I want to test with these ones first.
- Increased the armour rating of the Zathite Dancer costume to be in line with other light religious sets.
- Added Venom-Purified Blood as an ingredient to craft Zathite Dancer costume pieces, bringing its cost in line with other religious sets.
- Changed the duration of the bonus strength from Khari Mastery (Khari Overseer armour) from 5 seconds to 12 seconds and boosted the amount from 1% to 2% damage per stack.
- Apep Chaosforged (Well of Skelos) will no longer respawn all of his adds for each attempt if the player dies or flees. The adds will still respawn on their usual timers as they do in the base game.

Visual changes:

Issue fixes:
- Fixed the recipe for Destruction Staff again. I made a whoopsie and had an invalid item ID in the recipe, which made it uncraftable.

Issue fixes:
- Fixed the recipe for Destruction Staff. For some reason it required 5 firebowl cauldrons which is dumb and also made it uncraftable as those are built by the hammer now and can't be crafted as items to hold.

1.8.2 Patch Notes

No changes. Just recook with different file selection - I accidentally included a bunch of Tot API files in the last version, as I'd just updated them for work on another mod and forgot to uncheck them in the cook list for this mod. ODO doesn't actually use them, but having them there could cause difficult-to-trace problems for some users up to and including crashes so it's best to nip this one in the bud.

1.8.1 Patch Notes

Issue fixes:
- Fixed a visual bug where the particle effects from the Firestorm spell were moving to 0,0,0 on the client.
- Added a workaround to the Destruction sorcery journey not unlocking if the vanilla sorcery journey was already complete prior to the previous update. It should now unlock upon your next login.
- Fixed a couple of wrong icons for Destruction magic feats/recipes.

1.8.0 Patch Notes

New features:
- Added Destruction magic! This new school of sorcery works with Funcom sorcery mechanics using its own staff, spell tree, and research tome to create an entirely new set of spells separate from the original ones we got in Age of Sorcery. Trap your enemies in an infernal prison, ride a torrent of magma to higher places, lash nearby enemies with a flame whip, summon an earthquake, and much more! This spell tree is designed to be more useful and usable in combat than base-game sorcery - see its new section in documentation for full details.
- Added a new boss: X'Harazul, Armageddon's Apostle. As the creator of Destruction magic, capturing this named sorcerer thrall is necessary to master its secrets. Beware: he won't make it easy. For those who have no need of sorcerous power, he has a chance to drop the recipes for Khari armour when killed (and may get more loot in the future). X'Harazul can be found atop the Well of Skelos (outside the dungeon) on the Exiled Lands. On other maps admins will have to set him up somewhere.
- Added a setting to the admin config menu allowing the use of Thaumaturgy (base-game sorcery) and Destruction at the same time, if you desire that for your server.
- Added a new journey guiding players through the new Destruction sorcery content.

Issue fixes:
- Fixed an issue that was preventing the Arena Champion from spawning. For real this time!
- Fixed an issue where the Warmaker's Sanctuary journey was sometimes not progressing.

Item balance changes:
- The Reptillian Guile effect (Reptillian armour) no longer triggers from bleeds or self-inflicted debuffs like food poisoning or alcohol poisoning.

Visual changes:
- Fixed tooltips on some of the config panel sections.
- Fixed the discord link on the config panel.
- Fixed some incorrectly sized journey cards.

1.7.4 Patch Notes

Issue fixes:
- Partially fixed an issue with The Watcher Above's casting animation. Funcom removed the method I used to use for playing animations on NPCs and I haven't found a new method that works well yet.
- Fixed overly high health on some of the bosses in the Sunken City.

Item balance changes:
- The Set's Retribution effect (Setite shield) now deals less damage if the marked target was a player.

1.7.3 Patch Notes

Issue fixes:
- Fixed an issue that was causing Serpent-man thrown axes and javelins to not proc the Serpentine Zeal effect when thrown.

1.7.2 Patch Notes


Issue fixes:
- Removed Bloodforged Black Ice weapons from the loot pool for NPCs and chests in the Temple of Frost.
- Corrected the low damage values for Bloodforged Black Ice weapons.


Item balance changes:
- Reduced the stamina cost of attacks with Whirlwind Blades, Havoc & Malice, and Hunger Blades.
- Increased the duration and value of the attack speed boost from the Rushing Flurry effect slightly.


Visual changes:
- Fixed the buff description for Rushing Flurry.
- Adjusted the font size and layout for the admin config panel slightly to fit better on the screen.
- Removed the admin config option for Rolling Thrust as it no longer does anything (Funcom made my balance change official).
