Changes
  • The Demolitionist now sells rocket I’s if you have the Overloaded Lightning Launcher in your inventory and the Plantera alt boss config option disabled, as previously there was no way to get more rockets unless the boss dropped another launcher.
    - Added a new tooltip line to the weapon if the config is disabled telling the player that they can buy more rockets
    - More rocket I’s are dropped whenever the Launcher is obtained
    - The Launcher projectiles now create larger explosions if Rocket III’s or IV’s are used
  • Hellsoul wings height, horizontal and vertical speed been nerfed, and quickly ascending now drains the flight time faster
  • Lightning Wings height and vertical speed have been slightly nerfed
    - Position on the player’s back in flight has been tweaked
  • Asteroid Wings flight time and horizontal speed have been slightly nerfed, but assent speed slightly buffed
  • The Eye Hook range and pull speed and been slightly increased
  • Tweaked the positioning of the Scandrone mask when worn
Bug Fixes
  • The Overloaded Scandrone’s dash attack damage now correctly increases in Expert and Master Mode

Additions
  • Added the first boss to this mod, the Overloaded Scandrone
    - Summoned by using a Storm Beacon post mechs, which can be crafted from fallen stars and mech souls, or dropped from any enemy during a storm
    - Cycles through different attacks, and attacks faster when below half health, and also has an attack exclusive to expert mode
    - Has an expert exclusive 3rd phase below 10% health
    - Has a Treasure bag, Relic and Master mode pet for the respective difficulties, and can drop one of 4 weapons, alongside some equipment
    - Added a new config option that allows this boss to be an alternative to fighting the Plantera, otherwise it remains a pre-plant boss
Weapons
  • Added 4 new weapons that can be obtained from the Overloaded Scandrone
    - Lightning Knife, melee knives that can be throw out, and summon a lightning bolt from above upon hitting an enemy
    - Overloaded Lightning Launcher, launcher that fires out lightning grenades that explode into a burst of lightning after a short delay or upon impact, uses regular rockets as ammo
    - Lightning Scepter, magic weapon that fires out streams of lightning that pierce enemies.
    - Overloaded Staff, sentry summon that summons a floating scandrone sentry that fires a burst of 3 scandrone bolts at enemies
Accessories
  • Added the Overloaded Storm Core, expert accessory from the Overloaded Scandrone
    - Allows the player to send out a lightning projectile to the cursors position that constantly fires out bursts of lightning in every direction, damaging enemies. Stays out indefinitely until recalled or if the player moves too far away
  • Added the Storm Wings, chance to be dropped from the Overloaded Scandrone.
    - Allows the player to hover and has similar stats to the hoverboard
Misc
  • Added the Mysterious Device, a pet summon that summons a baby Overloaded Scandrone pet, dropped from the Overloaded Scandrone on Master
  • Added the Scandrone mask, the Overloaded Scandrone boss mask
  • Added 3 new hooks
    - Added the eyeball hook, dropped from the Eye of Cthulhu, single hook that has a long reach but slow pull speed
    - Added the Derpling Hook, crafted from Derpling shells, can fire 3 hooks in rapid succession and 2 can latch at any time
    - Added the Lightning Hook, chance to drop from the Overloaded Scandrone, single hook that has a long reach and fast pull speed
Changes
  • Hellsoul bow now fires a homing soul arrow every shot instead of every other
  • The Hellblaster damage reduced from 30 to 28, and use time increased from 30 to 34
  • Modded Potions now use the new drinking animation
  • Dune Blaster now spawn less often
Bug fixes
  • Slightly fixed some enemies in multiplayer
  • Fixed the animation of the Frozen Queen’s Sentry
  • Fixed the modded pets from not giving the pet buff if summoned manually

  • Sword of Cthulhu renamed to "Eye Sored"
  • Shrooword now only summons a mushroom when striking an enemy, and the mushroom appears from above you
  • Hellsoul Blade now fires an even spread of 4 hellsoul blades every third swing
    - Projectiles have a much shorter range and no longer pierce
  • Ancient Revolver sprite tweaked
  • Tweaked the Soul Striders Inventory sprite
  • The Mechanical Spikes projectile now have a trail effect
  • Frozen Eyefish now has some variance to when it fires its projectile, and spawn slightly more often

Weapons
  • Added 4 new weapons that drop from the eye of Cthulhu or be obtained from its treasure bag
    - Sword of Cthulhu, broadsword that launches a bouncing eye every other swing
    - Eye Rifle, a gun that fires 2 bullets in rapid succession each use
    - The Eyestalk, and magic weapon that fires a piercing eye that ricochets towards the cursor
    - Eyeball Staff, minion staff that summons a servant of Cthulhu minion that charges towards enemies
  • Added the Bloody rifle, that drops from Hemogoblin Sharks and Blood Eels, converts bullets into blood bullet that drop blood in its path
    - Can also be crafted with Bloody Drops, Hallowed bars, and Souls of Sight
  • Added the Frozen Spirit Staff that drops from Frozen Spirits, minion that flies above enemies while firing bursts of icicles at them
  • Added the Bow of the Wyverns, dropped from Wyverns. Bow that fires an even spread of 3 arrows every shot, and grants all fired arrows increased velocity
Accessories
  • Added the Whirlpool Emblem, crafted from coral, starfish, and seashells, when using most weapons a damage orb of water will fall from the sky towards the cursor
  • Added the Bloody Treads, crafted from any running boot and bloody drops. Increases running speed and acceleration and leaves a damage trail on blood on the ground when running.
  • Added several new tinkers
    - Frozen Urn, tinker of the Frozen Heart and Pharaoh’s Urn, converts the sand trail into a frost trail, and requires 5 mech souls to tinker
    - Philosopher’s Heart, tinker of the Heart Emblem and Philosopher’s stone, potion cooldown or heart drop rate do not stack, however the extra health does
    - Shroomite Launcher Scope, tinker of Shroomite Launcher Attachment and Sniper Scope, zoom range or amount of rockets do not stack, but the ranged damage and crit bonuses do
    - Magnet Skull flower, tinker of magnet Flower and Spectre Skull, mana star reach doesn’t stack, but the extra mana and reduced mana usage do
Enemies
  • Added 2 new enemies to the Blizzard, one prehardmode and one in Hardmode
    - Frozen Eyefish in prehardmode, flies around the player while firing mini snowflake projectiles at them, drops a small amount of Frost Daggerfish on death
    - Frozen Spirit in hardmode, floats towards the player while passing through tiles, and summons a large spinning snowflake towards the player that shatters into smaller snowflakes.
    - Drops the new Frozen Spirit Staff
Misc
  • Added the Mega Drill, crafted from the Mini Drill, and 10 Evils Bars, Hellstone Bars, and Meteor bars. Mines faster than any pre hardmode pickaxe and has no range penalty
  • Added the Clayman mask, a reference to an emote in the discord server, has a 1 in 50 chance to drop from any boss

Weapons
  • Most inaccurate modded guns with low accuracy now aim towards where they fired the bullet, instead of always straight ahead
  • Hellsoul Staff damage increased from 45 to 50, and the minion now shoots and moves faster
  • Derpling Staff minion now has New AI, instead of coping the Slime minion AI, and damage reduced from 32 to 20
    - Still hops along the ground like before, but with new animations, and still flies when the player is off the ground.
    - It now attacks by flying directly towards the enemy and attempting to remain in contact while dealing damage, if on the ground before targeting an enemy it will launch off with quickly
  • Asteroid minion now has a new A instead of copying the Spazmini, and damage increased from 38 to 45
    - Acts similarily to before, but charges much more quickly and has no cooldown between dashes
  • The Forbidden Fury arrow now pierces twice, with 20% damage falloff, and drops dust slightly more often
  • The Vaporiser damage increased from 65 to 70, and the projectile hitbox is now correctly centred
  • The Shroomite Launcher Rockets and Grenades now summons mushrooms in a more even circle
  • The Blazing Star sprite has been revamped, and the weapon has been renamed to the Blazing Polestar
    - Now only has 2 “arms” instead of 4, making it look more like a practical weapon, and now has a longer spinning trail to fill in the gaps more
    -Its stats and function are unchanged
  • The Lunatic Spell of Ancient Light projectile sprite updated
  • The Lunatic Staff of Lightning Sentry now fires its own lightning projectile, instead of using the Lunatic Cultist’s one, and has a much greater targeting range
  • The Soul Storm fires 3 souls per use in a row, and only consumes mana once, but mana usage increased from 8 to 14, and use time lowered from 12 to 10
    - It also now has a proper glowmask
  • Selenian Blades velocity slightly nerfed
Misc
  • The Mini Drill is now found in underground golden chest, and dropped from Undead miners, and is no longer purchasable from the demolitionist
  • Some of the hardmode blood moon fishing items can now be crafted with Bloody drops, hallowed bars, and mech souls
    - Souls of Might for the Drippler Crippler, Souls of Fright for the Blood thorn, and All 3 souls for the Sangunie Staff
    - The Bloody Rifle fulfils the Souls of Sight role
    - The Haemorrhaxe does not require any souls to craft
  • Tweaked the Baby Derpling enemy and Golden Derpie pet sprites
  • Tweaked some dust effects for certain enemies
  • Tweaked some tooltips
  • Fully removed the Derpling Helmet from the mod
Bug fixes
  • The Spectre Skull no longer grants the mana flower effect
  • Certain projectiles now correctly trigger the hellsoul Armour set bonus, ironically including the Hellsoul minion
  • The Heartless soul bestiary now correctly states it’s from the underworld instead of the Temple

  • Compressed Air Can’s knockback nerfed, no longer pierces enemy defence, and damage increased from 3 to 5
  • The Harpy weapons once again require Evil bars instead of Evil material to craft, and one fewer feathers to craft
    - The Feathered Thrower damage reduced from 15 to 14
  • Ocean Weapons have been nerfed
    - Tidal wave damage reduced from 17 to 10, mana usage lowered from 8 to 7, and splash projectiles deal less damage

  • Spooky Potion now increased whip speed by 10% in place of increased minion knockback
  • The Messenger’s Crown now only requires 5 feathers to craft instead of 10
  • Fallen Warrior now summons its sword projectiles more often

  • The status messages that appear when defeating certain bosses now appear correctly in multiplayer and should no longer cause any conflicts with other mods
  • Modded enemies now drop their loot and gores on death
  • The Moonling now remains directly above the targeted player instead of randomly flying around them, as before it has very buggy behaviour
    - It still behaves as normal in singleplayer
  • The Moonling core now correctly summons the Moonling
