Oversight Fixes
  • Glass Armour shards now appear from the correct location when in reverse gravity when a piece shatters, and the shards are launched downwards instead of upwards
  • Glass Tools shards are also launched downwards when in reverse gravity
  • Modded banners can no longer be shimmered back into the IOU banner

v2.6.6.1
Changes
  • Glass Weapons and Tools break chance is now affected by luck, with the break chance being either increased by up to 40% or reduced by up to 173% (at -0.4 and +1.73 luck values respectively, the minimum and maximum values).
    - This means the weapons which have a 1 in 32 chance to break can now have a chance anywhere from 1 in 19 to 1 in 87 to break (formula is 1 in (32 x (luck value + 1)))
    - The tools when mining that have a 1 in 64 chance can now have a chance anywhere from 1 in 38 to 1 in 174 to break (formula is 1 in (64 x (luck value + 1)))
    - using luck increasing accessories from this mod can increase luck up to 2.68, which means the weapons can have up to a 1 in 117 chance to break and tools a 1 in 235 chance
    - The Armour will always break in on hit, and so will tools when hitting an enemy.
    - The break in one config is not affected by luck either.
  • The Broken Glass gear is now picked up much more quickly, to prevent it being dropped on the ground if you move too fast (note it always ignored the Encumbering stone)
  • Super Hearts and Spectral Stars pickup speed is increased, and greatly increased when under the effects of the Heartreach Potion or Celestial Magnet respectively.
  • Acid Venom Sludge Cannon renamed to Acidic Sludge Cannon, along with the projectiles and debuff
  • The Mini Drill drop chance from Undead miners lowered from 5/6.25% to 2/3%

Additions
  • Added the Glass Sword, crafted from glass
    - Deals 1 less damage than a platinum sword but swings slightly faster
    - Has a 1 in 32 chance to break into a broken Glass Sword upon hitting an enemy, when it breaks it embeds 5-6 glass fragments into the enemy, which inflict the stacking embedded debuff
  • Added the Broken Glass Sword, obtained when the Glass Sword breaks
    - Functions as a pre-1.4 shortsword, and can be combined with glass and gel by hand to recraft the glass sword
  • Added the Glass Bow, crafted from glass
    - Deals 1 less damage than a platinum bow but fires slightly faster
    - Has a 1 in 32 chance to break into a broken Glass Bow each use, when it breaks it launches 5-6 glass fragments in the direction the bow was fired
  • Added the Broken Glass Bow, obtained when the Glass Bow breaks
    - No combat function, but can be combined with glass and gel by hand to recraft the Glass Bow
  • Added the Glass Staff, crafted from glass
    - Fires out a magical orb like the gem staffs, deals the same damage as an Amethyst staff but fires faster than a diamond one with the same projectile velocity
    - Has a 1 in 32 chance to break into a broken Glass Staff each use, when it breaks it launches 5-6 glass fragments in the direction the staff was fired
  • Added the Broken Glass Staff, obtained when the Glass Staff breaks
    - No combat function, but can be combined with glass and gel by hand to recraft the Glass Staff
  • Added the Glass Pickaxe, Axe, and Hammer
    - Mine faster than Platinum tools and all have 60% respective tool power
    - All have a 1 in 64 chance to break into a Broken Glass handle when hitting a tile, tree, or wall respectively, and creates 5-6 glass fragments
    - Hitting an enemy causes it to break immediately and embedded 4-5 glass fragments into said enemy
  • Added the Broken Glass handle, obtained when a Glass tool breaks
    - No combat/utility function, but can be combined with glass and gel by hand to recraft any of the Glass tools
  • Added Glass Armour, crafted from glass
    - Each piece provides +6/8/6% damage respectively for a total of 20% and the set bonus provides +33% movement speed
    - When taking any damage one piece will shatter into many shards that can embed into enemies and inflict the stacking Embedded debuff, shards do not damage the user
    - 7-8 shards for the helmet, 10-11 shards for the leggings, and 13-14 shards for the chestplate
    - The pieces will always break in the order Helmet > Leggings > Chestplate
    - A Broken Armour Shard will be added to your inventory whenever a piece breaks.
  • Added the Broken armour Shard, when a piece of glass armour breaks one is added to your inventory
    - Can be combined with glass and gel by hand to recraft any glass armour piece
  • Added the Embedded Debuff, a stacking debuff inflicted from glass shards created from when a glass item breaks
    - Each stack deals 2DPS and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 20DPS

Changes
  • Updated the Frozen Spirit’s Projectile sprite
  • Slightly lowered the drop chance of modded wooden items from Green Slimes
Bug Fixes
  • The Sticky Mine Detonator and Spiky Bomb Launcher explosion sound now has a limit to prevent a very loud explosion sound if all are detonated at once.
  • The Hunter’s Blade projectile now correctly gets removed on tile impact.

  • Rare Dungeon drops chance lowered from 1 in 200 to 1 in 400
  • The speed and spread for the 7th attack of The Painbringer lowered slightly
  • The Gladiator’s Bow now has particles when firing arrows
  • Slightly tweaked dust effects for Gladiator items
  • The dust particles from the Granite Core and Warrior’s Trophy no longer give off light.
  • The Fallen Warrior’s projectiles now take slightly longer to speed up, and maximum speed reduced
  • The Heartless Soul projectiles now face the player before charging, and charge speed increased
    - Sprite of the projectiles updated

Changes
  • The Painbringer attacks have been slightly tweaked
    - Most attack are launched at a slightly higher velocity and rate (on lower phases for the latter)
    - The First attack no longer has telegraph lines
    - The second attack projectiles now charge downwards after a small delay, and the telegraph line only appears for a short time after charging down
    - The 3rd attack now creates double the projectiles each time
    - The 4th attack charge delay slightly reduced
    - The 5th and 6th attack projectiles are summoned at a slightly faster rate
    - The 7th attack now fires a barrage of inaccurate projectiles towards the player after each dash
    - The 8th attack now has a delay between summoning each skull, meaning they alternate dashing instead of dashing at the same time, dash rate slightly reduced at higher difficulties, also removed dash telegraph line
    - The 9th Attack remains unchanged (Crystal phase)
    - The Final attack no longer has telegraph lines for the ring of shards
Bug Fixes
  • Modded ammo that is reflected no longer deals increased damage at higher difficulties to the player

Changes
  • Compact Boulders can no longer be crafted directly back to stone due to shimmer
    - Can be thrown slightly further
    - When Thorium Mod is enabled the tooltip changes to state they are used for the Stone Cannons
  • Cracked shots now have a 1 in 3 chance to spilt into shards at creation instead of after a delay
    - Spread of shards reduced
  • Forbidden Bullets now also inflict the Forbidden burn on enemies for 5 seconds
  • Forbidden Arrows overhauled, now when directly above an enemy they will travel straight downwards towards the enemy
    - They have to be within a certain height above the enemy
    - They deal 20% less damage and no knockback if they hit like that.
  • Using Forbidden Arrows with the Forbidden Fury allows the Special Forbidden Arrows to create 4 sand blasts instead of 3
    - The Sand Blasts inflict the forbidden sands debuff for 2 seconds instead of 5 all the time
  • Asteroid Blaster damage reverted from 42 to 40
  • Lunatic Bow of Ice arrow spread reduced
    - The ice shards can now penetrate blocks directly above the players head instead of only a few tiles above
  • Celestial Stone Cannon boulders are now fired at a much faster velocity

Additions
  • Added the Endless Oil can, crafted from 2,000 Oil cans at a hellforge
    - Functions the same as the Oil Cans, but is non-consumable and can be used indefinitely
Changes
  • The Forbidden Fury arrows now rain down sand when directly above an enemy.
    - Each arrow can rain down sand 3 times before it disappears
    - The Dust deals 66% the damage of the arrow with 6 armour penetration
    - The Main arrow can no longer pierce
  • The Nine Lives and The Last Chance now only receive an additional 1% damage instead of 2% from each tier of the Reaper’s list
  • The Shroomite Sharpshooter is now always fully accurate
    - After 50 consecutive shots it gains the increased damage (15%) and knockback (x2), as well as increased velocity (8.3 seconds to charge at base speed)
    - Has a charge up sound when below 50 shots which increases in pitch
  • The Asteroid Blaster now fires the 2 bullets in an even cone spread, which gains accuracy over several seconds until it is almost fully accurate
    - Takes about 6.6 seconds to reach max accuracy (affected by speed modifiers)
    - Accuracy resets to the minimum over 1.6 seconds of not firing (not affected by speed modifiers)
    - Damage increased from 40 to 42
  • The Asteroid Globe overhauled, main asteroid projectile now fire 5 bursts of 2 fragments at nearby enemies before disappearing
    - Projectiles now travel from the player to the cursor, and can be stopped by walls
    - Projectiles will only start firing when they’re not moving, and will disappear after 5 seconds or if 5 shots are fired
    - Use time increased from 24 to 40, and mana usage increased from 15 to 25
  • Asteroid Bullets overhauled, they now pierce through tiles and ignore all liquids
    - They lose 25% damage, and 33% speed and knockback once when they pierce tiles, and they have reduced time left (but enough to clear the screen)
    -They do not lose any accuracy when piercing tiles
    - Damage reduced from 16 to 15
  • The Snowman’s Pizza Cap and the Snowman’s Flat Cap purchase price lowered from 5 Gold to 1 Gold
  • The Pizza Delivery Snowman now drops Pizza at a 4% rate rather than 2%

Changes
  • The Captain’s Cannon Cannonball accuracy has been greatly increased
  • Snowman’s Tommy Gun bullet spread slightly reduced

    - The projectile no longer turns mid-flight
    - Additionally the spawn rate for the enemy has been slightly increased

Changes
  • The Captain’s Cannon bullet spread has been slightly reduced, but the cannon spread has been increased
  • Santa’s Explosive Boomstick reuse delay reduced from 50 to 45
  • The Scavenger’s bazooka now has dust effects coming from the back when fully charged and firing
  • Satchel Charges are now thrown with a higher velocity, and the delay between throwing and detonating has been slightly reduced
  • The Pizza Delivery Snowman is now a full member of the frost Legion, and no longer spawns in hardmode blizzards
    - Its projectile now turns less sharply
    - No longer drops a Snow Globe, instead all enemies in a hardmode Blizzard have a small chance to drop one (2%)
    - Motorized Pizza Cutter droprate lowered from 8.33/12.5% to 4/5%, Pizza droprate lowered from 20% to 2%
    The Pizza cap can now be purchased from the Clothier after the frost legion has been defeated
  • Updated the status message when defeating the Eye of Cthulhu to state which biomes are affected
