Additions
  • Added a new config option to lower the celestial shield kill count, can be customised from the full amount down to 25
  • Added a config option to disable the Temple Guardians pre-Plantera... not recommended as it allows for progression skipping
  • Added 3 new weapons that can be crafted from 16 solar tablet fragments at the temple altar
    - Lihzahrd Spinner, frizbee-like weapon that throws spinning discs to the cursor’s location that do not return
    - Lihzahrd Flameburst Tome, magical tome that fires out 3 ricocheting and piercing fireballs
    - Lihzahrd Guardian Staff, summoner item that summons mini Temple Guardian minions that fly above enemies while firing piercing lasers
  • Added the Arid Command Staff that summons an Arid Spirit Minion that flies towards enemies and fires out blasts of damaging sand
    - Crafted from bones and sturdy fossils
Changes
  • Moved the disable screenshake config option to a local config menu, so that individual users can disable it on servers
  • The Overloaded Scandrone transitions from following the player to orbiting much more smoothly in the first attack phase
  • The Spiky Launcher’s oldest projectile now explodes when reaching the limit, instead of preventing you from firing more
  • Santank set bonus missiles now deal 200 damage each
  • Tweaked the Arid Mask sprite
  • Meteor arrows now have a larger homing radius, making them more likely to hit the enemy instead of swerving around them
  • The Celestial Globe fragment requirement has been lowered from 50 of each to 40
  • Improved the dust effects for many explosions in the mod
  • The Temple Guardians (Post-Plantera) and Lihzarhd Flametraps now drop more tablet fragments
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the Arid armour set bonus from causing global immunity frame issues
  • On hit accessories no longer grant the buff upon the player respawning from a lethal hit
  • Moving the cursor away from the Storm Coil’s projectile when it is being sent out no longer causes it to massively increase in speed
  • Fixed some typos in certain tooltips

Changes:
  • The mod config menu it now organised with headers
  • The Overloaded Scandrone now has a new sprite, which is slightly larger than before
    - Its hitbox is slightly larger, making it easier to hit
    - The Relic and trophy and treasure Bag have also had their sprite updated
    - It orbits slightly slower in its first attack
  • The Wooden Pendulant has been renamed to the Wooden Pendant
    - Now grants 4 damage reduction instead of 2
  • The Overloaded Storm Core portal can now be repositioned without needing to return it to the player
    - Positioning the portal is now done only when holding UP and right clicking, and returning it is only done while holding DOWN and right clicking
    - It now deals slightly more damage
Bug Fixes:
  • The Lunatic Staff of Lightning sentry projectile now has local immunity frames

Changes:
  • Vortexia weapon tweaked, damage reduced from 60 to 52, mana cost from 16 to 15, and fire velocity increased
    - The large vortex projectile now only summons a single homing vortex in fight at a time, but at a faster rate
    - Still summons the same amount on impact/destruction
    - The large vortex has a shorter lifetime, whereas the smaller vortexes lifetime and homing range has been increased
  • Slightly reduced the Hellsoul flame requirement for all Hellsoul gear
    - The Soul Cauldron miniboss spawns slightly less often
  • The Frozen Eyefish now drops much more Frost Dagger fish
  • Certain modded enemies are now immune to hellfire and frostbite
Bug Fixes:
  • The Beetle Lance beetles are now correctly summoned from the tip of the spear instead of the player
  • Twilight armour's tooltip now states the correct cooldown time
  • The Frigid Snowflake now plays the correct animation when spinning

The mod has been reverted to "Storm's Additions Mod" as the new name was not well received

  • Added the Vortexia Weapon, dropped from the Overloaded Scandrone
    -Fires slow moving Vortexes that summon smaller homing vortexes
  • Added the Derpling Fishing Rod, crafted from Derpling Shells and Chlorophyte bars
    - Launches 3 bobbers at once
Bug Fixes
  • Hellsoul Flames should no longer drop from the Hungrys

Updated the mod to work with the preview branch up until the 1st of June, and from there the Stable branch
Changes:
  • Tweaked the Mod icon
  • The Storm beacon can now drop pre-mechs, but is still not usable until all 3 mechs have been defeated, with a new tooltip line stating this
  • The Overloaded Scandrone no longer drops the Temple key if it is not configured to be a Plantera alt
  • The Lunatic Spear of Fire now creates fireballs every swing regardless of whether an enemy was hit
    - Damage increased from 95 to 100, and usetime reduced from 24 to 22
  • The Vaporiser Spikes now deal the same damage as the spike ball while it is swung around, but deal very little knockback
  • The Blazing Polestar name reverted to Blazing Star
  • The Jungle tree staff now requires only 5 vines to craft
  • The Shelled debuff from the turtle weapons now only grants an additional 15 defence instead of 25
  • The Fridge Snowflake and Dune Blaster are now stunned more consistently
  • Adjusted the volume of some sound effects
Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed an oversight where the teddy bear regen was only 1.5HP/s instead of 3HP/s

Added a new screen shake for certain events that can be turned off via config
Things that trigger it are:
-Firing the Flaming and Lunar Stone launcher
-Stomping with the heavy boots
-The Asteroid Armour set bonus
Changes
  • Granite Rifle bullets now pierce twice, and velocity slightly increased
  • Shroomite Weapons sprites have been slightly updated (Credit to Hyperkatmanders)
  • The mechanical Spikes now create 6 orbiting spike balls that all appear at once
  • The Lunatic hood of Command mini cultists attack range slightly increased
    - They no longer gain additional damage from having just 1 minion slot
  • Asteroid Armour with the helmet set bonus cooldown reduced to 3 seconds, and damage increased from 130 to 150
    - The Asteroids fall slightly faster
  • Bloody treads and Soul Striders now move slightly faster in the air, and their speed no longer caps the player’s speed
    - Their running speeds have also been adjusted because of this, 46 mph for the Bloody treads and 61mph for the Soul Striders on land
  • Derpling Headgear speed bonus slightly increased
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed several issues that occurred when gravity was flipped
    - Star Warrior Sentry and the Mini cultist sentries now flip with the player
    - The Santank Armour missiles, Betsy’s Flame projectiles, and any other projectiles that travelled upwards first now travel upwards relative to the player
    - Certain dust effects are flipped correctly
    - Stomp Boots now create the shockwave upon impacting with ceilings
    - Storm Wings now hover correctly
  • The Spectre Orbiter projectiles now have a random distance and direction again

Changes:
Weapons
  • The Shrooword’s mushroom now deals 75% the damage of the weapon instead of 66%
  • The Eye Sored now launches an eyeball every swing instead of every other
    - The Eyeball’s velocity no longer is affected by the player’s own
    - Damage increased from 22 to 25
  • The Vaporiser now continuously fires 8 spikes while being swung around, and only creates spikes once when hitting an enemy once thrown out
  • Sticky Launcher drop rate increased from 2% to 5%
  • The Shroomite Sharpshooter now takes much longer to reach full accuracy
  • The Shroomite Launcher projectiles now create few mushroom on impact, and do not travel as far
    - Use time reduced from 35 to 30
  • The Nebula Storm and Predictor brain no longer inflict the Nebula Blazed debuff, as the debuff is no longer obtainable
    - The former’s damage has been increased from 75 to 84, and the latter’s increased from 70 to 78
Armour
  • Shroom Armour set bonus mushroom are no longer affected by ranged damage bonuses due to a change in how the code works
    - Damage increased from 16 to 20 to compensate
  • Santank Armour set bonus rockets are no longer affected by ranged damage bonuses
    - Damage of them has been increased from 125 to 170 to compensate (before the rockets would deal 163 damage due to the ranged bonuses provided by the armour)
    - The Missiles now have a longer homing range, and correctly use local immunity
  • Twilight Armour cooldown has been reduced from 12 seconds to 8
    - The Robe now grants an additional 3% crit chance
    - The Legging now grant and addition 1% damage buff
  • Asteroid Armour with the Mask set bonus asteroids have a damage cap of 500 to prevent one-shotting daytime empress
  • Asteroid Armour with the Helmet set bonus asteroids no longer benefit from Classless bonuses
    - Damage increased from 90 to 130 to compensate
Accessories
  • The Wooden Pendulant now also works in the Hallow
  • Mechanical Spikes projectiles damage increased from 75 to 100 damage
  • The Frozen Heart and its tinker’s projectiles now have a damage cap of 150
  • Spooky Emblem now has a greater area of effect, and now has a visible fire ring to indicate the distance
    - Damage of the debuff is now 250DoT, which it deals in 1 second intervals, it also slightly slows down enemies
    - The particle effect that heads towards enemies has been removed due to performance issues it could cause with multiple enemies
    - Updated tooltip
  • Betsy's Flame projectile now deal slightly more damage
  • The Lunatic Hood of Command cultists damage is no longer affected by summon damage bonuses, but is instead affected by your current max minion slot stat
    - They deal 100 base damage and an extra 15 per minion slot (so 115 by default)
Enemies
  • The Nebula Hopper no longer inflicts the nebula blazed debuff due to its removable
    - Its projectile damage has been increased from 50/100/150 to 60/120/180
Misc
  • Certain Asteroid weapon projectiles are now quieter when being summoned or destroyed
  • The Storm beacon now only requires 5 fallen stars instead of 10
  • The Santa NK1 now drops a higher quantity of Mechanical Scrap
  • The Rod of Discord now requires 25 Chaos orbs instead of 12
  • The Eyeball Hook now has the correct 1 in 4 drop chance from the reassure bag instead of 4%
  • The Frozen Urn now requires a single Hallowed bar in place of 5 Mech souls
  • All burning related modded debuffs now deal an additional 25 DoT to enemies that have been oiled
  • Removed the modded recipe for the Mining Shirt and Pants (As they could also be purchased from the Demolitionist if you had a mining helmet)

Bug Fixes
  • Hovering with Lightning wings should no longer reset any double jump effect
Multiplayer Tweaks
  • Some of the Overloaded Scandrone attacks now fire lightning projectiles just like in singleplayer
    -The boss should now deal contact damage when dashing
    -Attempted to make the boss more stable (with limited sucess)
  • Added a warning to the boss summoner in multiplayer only, warning the player that the boss may experience issues

  • The Shredder's flame particles now use local immunity
Enemies
  • Overloaded Scandrone health reduced from 60K to 56K on Expert, and 90K to 72K on Master
    - The lightning portals have a slightly longer delay before firing the lightning after they stop moving
    - Its treasure bag now has a higher chance to drop the Hook and Wings
  • The Soul Cauldron will no longer summon more minions if 9 or more are present in the world
  • The Dune Blaster no longer passes through tiles, and spawns slightly less often
    - It will now try to fly above the player instead of directly towards them
    - Attacking it now staggers it for half a second
    - The Sand trail attack now has glowing particles, and is fired for a slightly less duration
  • Attacking a Frigid Snowflake now slightly staggers it
Misc
  • The Bloody treads and Soul Striders air speed has been nerfed
Bug Fixes
  • The Eye Rifle, Derpling Rifle, and Mechanical repeater no longer fire an extra shot if they have a speed modifier
  • The Scandrone Mask no longer creates a missing pixel on the player
