The "Balanced" update

-Attack patterns reworked or tweaked and some attacks changed

-Background revamps

-Some smaller details (like adding the all guns destroyed sfx)

-CO-OP SUPPORT
A couple things to note though,
1.In Co-op I've made certain attacks harder (mainly attacks aimed at both players at the same time), so do keep in mind that some bosses could be harder than in normal play
2.I'm only one person and can't fully test everything easily so there may be some bugs or unbalanced things in co-op, I've done my best to find any co-op related bugs but there may be more

-More dialogue (mainly co-op related but some non co-op related things and some more variety in general)

-Miniature Black Hole powerup buffed

-Fixed some inconsistency issues with the Ghost Cannon and made the indicator circle red

-Some things to reduce the file size (cause I noticed the file size was almost twice as big as the next biggest (Chaos Campaign Redux) despite having half as many bosses)

-Note for co op, the more a player dies the longer it will take for a respawn pod to drop

-Changed Preview Image again (more to indicate Co op support, now all 4 bosses have been in a preview image)

-Leaderboard wipes since there are a lot of gameplay changes

Skylier

-Overall easier and less aggressive when it comes to attacking

-The frost core now has an attack pattern which cycles through freezing lazers, the giant circle, mini circles (spawned on top of you) and mini hailstorms (which have less bullets and more delay between shots)

-Buffed the main Hailstorm

-Fixed Skylier being able to say multiple different things at once (finally)

-Lightning cores now use medium lengthed lightning instead of large lengthed lightning for a revenge attack

-The Lightning Core in form 2 now shoots lightning slower

-Apparently I stopped skylier from saying her curse powerup lines... so that's fixed

-Nerfed the health of most pixels

-Hopefully fixed a layer on Skylier's cores clipping out of her frame

Volcanion
==========================================================================================
-Overall slightly easier

-Slightly increased Volcanion's shader intensity (no gameplay difference)

-The boss now moves slightly when you shoot it (like in most of the crusade/invasion bosses, if you need an example play guardian or prospector and shoot some invulnerable pixels)

-The music "chords" now switch to the nightmare version when Volcanion rages

-Phase 2 Core Health increased 1600 - 2000

-Anything Volcanion says through speechRage.sub is now said in bold letters

-If Volcanion is raging then all his dialogue is said through speechRage.sub now

-Volcanion may get a bit annoyed if you keep shooting his core while it's protected...

-Fixed the bad english in the description (thanks Thorn for pointing that out lol)

-The Melted Freeze has been reworked, it's functionally the same but it works in co-op

-Added a desperation phase once all guns are destroyed in form 2


Medal times have (actually) changed

Gold has been lowered to a 5:30 (it was meant to be 6:00 last update but it was still 6:30)

Wireframe

-Overall a hell of a lot easier and less aggressive when it comes to attacking (except for the desperation phase, Wireframe is very aggressive during that phase)

-Fixed the spelling mistakes in the description (thanks ryleigh for pointing that out lol, should I be concerned that I am terrable at spelling despite english being the only language I know)

-Most attacks nerfed and/or changed

-Drones should hopefully no longer get stuck in the middle of Wireframe during phase 2

-Drone were spawning faster than intended (when there was more than 1 drone), this has been fixed (not like it matters cause everyone either ignores them or spawncamps them)

-The dash indicator is now yellow instead of pink

-The dash indicator is also red for the laser attack

-Drones minimum dash length is now further (no more extremely depressing dash lengths)

-Increased accuracy of the dash indicator

-Put thrusters on the drones (an idea by Thorn to add some pixels to the drones to make them look less like floating cores, if the drones rotate then overtime they will orient themselves back to a 0 degree angle, if you move below them then the pixels move to the opposite side of the drone to make hitting them easier)

-Drone health decreased 600 - 450

-Phase 2 Core health increased 1500 - 2000

-Increased visibility of Saw Ring outlines and Linear Saw lines

-Added a third attack pattern (one deals with core attacks, one deals with gun attacks, the new one deals with laser attacks (until the desperation phase))

-Changed the requirements for activating the Panic phase (before some people in co op activate the phase on accident)

-Overall harder

-Changed the meme tip

-Phantom now dashes during phase 1, replacing her chasing you after 1 gun is destroyed

-Phantom now dashes a lot more aggressively (further dashes, faster dashes and less time to react in form 3)

-Changed how fast Phantom turns to face you in phase 2/3 (starts off turning slow, speeds up turning, slows back down half way through, dash turning is the same)

-Note for co op, respawn pods don't spawn during Phantom's final phase since if you prioritize a respawn pod over Phantom you'll probably run out of time

-Changed around some powerups and overall lowered the amount of damage ups obtainable from powerups

-Core, Gun and Pixel health reductions to compensate for less damage

-Slightly edited the song

-Some extra dialogue based around "lore" (I guess)

-Renamed campaign from Torno Campaign to Champion Campaign (I like to think of this campaign kinda like a tournament (in which I now realize it should of been called Tourno campaign), Torno came from the word tournament but sounds a little stupid where as champion still makes sense with the whole tournament idea while sounding a bit more... uhh.. "professional"... I guess[extra dialogue based around being a tournament])

-Changed preview image

-Added custom loading screen tips for each boss (each boss has atleast 6 different tips specific to each boss with tips explaining gimics, how to counter or what not to do against them, whether the stage has shield containers or bombs and 1 rare meme quote cause why not)

Skylier

-Changed the hailstorm so that it spawns bullet relitive to the player instead of at the top of the arena, this means there are less bullets (40% to be precise) reducing possible lag and if you're at the top of the arena you actually have time to react (since it spawns bullets 100 units above the player instead of 25 units above the arena)

-Fixed a bug with the frozen debuff where the debuff wouldn't reapply if you were hit by another freezing attack

-Changed the frozen debuff, instead of having 10% movement speed for 5 seconds you now start off with 0% movement speed and slowly speed up to 60% over 10 seconds (hopefully this will make the frost core not completely useless)

-Nerfed both desperation phases

-Nerfed how oftern the revenge pattern is shot during Skylier's final form

-The revenge attack now shoots in a random direction instead of towards the player

-In phase 3 eveything Skylier says is in capatal letters (with eceptions to her death quotes and 1 (very rare) "being attacked" quote)... exept 1 singular quote on 3rd form spawn... Soo that's now fixed lol

-Drastically decresed Pixel health in phase 3

-Fixed the repulsion circles on one of the asteroids

-Fixed being able to permanently disable the overheat debuff if you used a melted freeze before killing form 1 of Volcanion

-Switched around a couple of attacks in the attack pattern, you should no longer get a stupid combo of diamond walls, random squares and a fan of lasers at the same time

-Some attack tweeks

-Volcanion now uses his unused attack quotes

-Fixed phase 1 core attack pattern not looping correctly (it was looping to the "idle" state instead of "0" meaning there was a gap between attacks and Wireframe would say a spawn quote in the middle of the fight)

-Made the background clouds more transparent

-Added an animation to phase 2

-Fixed Wireframe not switching to the correct desperation phase

-Changed the free shield to a cursed powerup

-Lowered the health of guns you're meant to detach (because their health was 9999 you could only get to about 0.3% through the level without taking out any guns, now you should be able to make it to around 13% meaning replays that don't take out a gun don't look like nothing happened)

-Slightly Changed a couple of attacks

-Fixed the big hexagon attacks playing the wrong sound effect post redux (the first saw attack also has this issue but I've decided to keep it there)

-The revenge attack is now smaller and predicts your movement by 3 times instead of 2 times (basically it's easier to dodge)

-The bomb is now 25 seconds (instead of 35) and now has a unique attack (instead of respawning the saw rings)

-Changed how the drones dashed, they use a different function which while it makes them move differently, they can no longer overlap with each other OR Wireframe (so you won't get one blocking the one pixel you need to destroy, they can still dash through Wireframe but will be pushed out afterwards)

-Added a dash indicator to the drones (ftr the dash indicator originated from Phantom)

1 more thing, last time I wiped the leaderboards I had a congratulations to everyone who had a fastest time but due to the leaderboard corruptions that happened I don't know who was the fastest (I mean I'm pretty sure it was nick again for Skylier and Volcanion) nor what their times were

I am keeping track of who was the first to beat new bosses though and Aerahath was the first to beat Wireframe (or should I say Unpredigital lol) with a 11:28.47 set on 27/12/21

I may have accidentally left the player as a hexagon that shoots cannon bullets about 100 times faster then a chippy ship would normally shoot in Skylier

-Replaced any code that used rand.Chance with rand.Float (to try and stop replays corrupting)

-Changed an attack to aim away from you instead of towards you (I noticed in the few replays that didn't corrupt before this attack that it was the attack that hit/killed people the most since if you're on the wrong side of it there's not really enough room to dodge easily)

-Changed how the bomb and shield container spawns in the third phase

-Attack Nerfs and Attack Buffs

-Changed how the thunderstorm spawns lightning (spawns lightning 3 times as slow but close(ish) to the player, should be about as difficult to dodge but means the game has to spawn a lot less bullets reducing possible lag, there's slight predictiveness so simply running away won't make it any easier before you try)

-Managed to break baseForm somehow (so if something weird happens because of that please spam me and I'll attempt to find a fix)

-Changed how Skylier actually says stuff and added 1 more lines of dialogue in phase 1

-Fixed Skylier not saying how many parts were left when attacking her while protected

-The song no longer restarts when you reset

-Added a "gold insult" (Skylier will only say it if certain conditions are met (mainly going fast))

Congrats on Siquoui for being the first victor (11:42 set on 8/11) and Nick for having the best time before the leaderboard wipe (4:02)

Random note : It was known that a sub 4 was possible before but with the health nerfs I can confirm a sub 3 minute skylier is also now possible

-Reduced the frequency(how often) of the phase 2 light grey pixels healing and how many can heal

-Reduced the frequency of the "meteor shower" attack in phase 2

-Attack nerfs

-Made the "revenge" attack more visible

-Changed where the asteroids get their powerups from (shouldn't make any difference in main branch it's just because it was broken in the redux beta)

-Fixed the pink attack in phase 2 (idk what to call it), the medium guns now stop attacking when they're destroyed, not the small guns (I don't know how I messed that up), the triple laser predicts your movement properly (I had it inverted somehow, I don't know how I messed that up either)

-Added an indicator to the pink attack so if you're far away you don't get an unfair hit

-Changed Volcanions "gold insult" to require a condition to be met (mainly progress fast)

-Added a shield zone container because why not

I'm still not completely happy with Volcanion's difficulty so he will probably have further nerfs
