Icon updates.

Strangely after a while, some of the crashed games do not repeat, I was able to have the game run properly with no issues in [2] as Illyria and Rome. It might be a terrain issue but if so, I have not been able to repeat this bug. In any case I will delete some of Azangara's files. They weren't doing anything for this mod.

More updates:

- Icon sheet reinstated. Not sure why it was missing in the first place.
- Sounds started being assigned back to Chinese vessels. Only the Swooper and the Stomach Striker (obviously) haven't been doctored.
- War Junks had their appearance reinstated.

Worryingly, we tried testing a game with Dacia in the Imp. Era, and got a GPIECE error but it is not due to something like the Draconarius Captain. Whatever is causing the game to crash with Rome also affects Dacia.

The first wave of updates has arrived.

A new system of classical age shipping has been implemented, with War Barges forming the "base ship", followed by:

- Polyremes: restricted to Egypt, Carthage, GReece, Rome
- New skin for Graeco-Roman chelandion. Making the uynit look more likea a dromon with a proper poop and a focsle.
- Rondships: restricted to Gaul. Saka.
- Tower Barques: restricted to China and Nanyue (amakes little sense that Nanyue shoukd be deprived of them).
- Galleys: for India, Persia, Dacia, Funan, Aksum, Illyria, Korea, Bach Viet.
Everyone else except some landlocked nomadic factions - Huns, Kushans, Garama, Sarmatians - get Barges.

Tower Barque, War Junk received stat increases as specified for Temujin. This makes China, India, Funan and Bach Viet highly lethal in the Imperial ERa, as long as they have resources to boom by.


ISSUE:
Random civ is causing game to crash if a gamne states in Imperial Era. Unsure why.

Started the process of redoing Chinese warships, to open the way for other mods.

- First to be dealt with are the Stomach Striker, and the War Junk. No clue how these work but it's likely, that a Stomach Striker may be a replacement for the heavy arty ship for China early on so we have:

[1], Tower Barque, Swooper (Barque, War Canoe), Stomach Striker, Fire Barque, Wing Barque (Light unit for China) (Fisherman moved to lower rank).
[2] Tower Barque, Swooper, Floating Fortress, Fire Barque, Wing Barque.

It seems that War Junks need to be excised.

And how would these work?

- Fire barque - no explanation required. 1 Pop
- Wing Barque - very slow but meant to be the spam unit of choice. <10 range. 1 Pop
- Stomach striker - anti-ship floating torpedo, meant to ram units and destroy them, particularly lethal against light ships .... but also easily killed by fire barque. 3 Pop, upgrades to.....
- Swooper - not as tough as stomach striker but has a longer range than the wing barque. >10 range, 2 Pop
- Tower Barques are heavy ships, early on used for offshore bombardment - but.... (4 Pop)
- Floating fortress - slow, heavy but can devastate cities at a distance (8 Pop)

For Rise of Kings, remove the Floating Fortress, for Warbirth, remove the Swooper.

- Fixed an error with Phkek infantry, which caused game to crash.
- Started a deep audit of Chinese naval units, it is as we feared:

o only models and anims have been fixed.
o stats and appearance of icons, etc not done.



Started the process of transitioning naval units over (God!)

- Trireme removed, Bireme retained as a medium warship.
- Everyone now either uses Polyremes or War Barges. Or in the case of China Tower Barques.
the old system inherited from Hong is inherently unsustainable.

Wheole system of how Chinese ships operate will have to be rewritten, using the Floating Fortress as a base, before anythuing here can be reused elsewhere - or that the units be playable at all.

Mod is still crashing in [2].
Dont know why, tried the following:

Xiongnu - Carthage - Kush - Korea - China - Nanyue : CRASH
Carthage - Kush - China - Rome - Egypt - Gaul : CRASH
Xiongnu - Korea - Nanyue - Greece - India - Aksum : PASS

So who's crashing?

Carthage - Kush - Rome? - Egypt - Gaul : CRASH
Carthage - Kush - Illyria? - Egypt - Gaul : CRASH
Illyria? - Kush - Gaul : CRASH
Carthage - Egypt - Rome : PASS
Rome - Gaul - Germans: PASS


Strangely, Illyrians can run properly. Still don't know why.

Possible causes:
Map objects are not loading. Possibly certain resource were set to Medieval and so the game is crashing.

More changes to this mod:

- Korean audio imported into this mod for use by elite Wanggeom archers,
- Choson Bowmen, Wanggeom Archers have had shots redued from 2 and 4 per attack to 1 and 2 respectively.
- Korean units now have inferior attack, but a significant resistance to melee attacks. This also extends to archer units, making them harder to take down.

A sepearate skin is required for CHOSONHWARANG (Choson Bowmen). This unit has a different shot per attack rate which may cause the game to crash.
