1) Pictured interceptors not included with this build. You can get them here though!

"Who would have thought that such an ancient design could become oppression?" - Anonymous

The Longbow's original design documents were drawn up by a certain Admiral Mashida, who had developed a strong fascination with old wet-navy carriers. He requested that his design be "A mid-20th Century-style carrier hull with thrusters strapped to it." Some of the original design ideas (including a second-level flight deck and a top hangar door on the main flight deck) were scrapped as a result of construction and logistics nightmares that they caused for engineers. Admiral Mashida initially dismissed the final product as an inferior facsimile of his original vision, but eventually conceded to and acknowledged the design headaches that he caused. The final carrier design is able to snugly fit eight Dagger-4 interceptors (and/or their size equivalents) within its deceptively efficient hangar, whilst larger craft could land upon the open-air top deck. Curiously enough its launch design was unarmed, mainly from Admiral Mashida's personal philosophy that a carrier's fighter complement is its defense. Its launch was infamous for falling victim to a surprise attack from the A.E.C. (Anti-Establishment Coalition). Being unarmed, the first launched Longbow-Class was helplessly rammed out of existence by a heavily armored-up A.E.C. freighter. Subsequent Longbow-Class designs were given a healthy armament of gatling turrets with near-complete angle of fire. Many over-eager captains (perhaps vengeful of that fateful launch) would actually modify and then use the Longbow's onboard armament to siege bases from afar, eventually garnering it notoriety as a new symbol of planetary oppression.
<+>
For a while, Genesis Securities would lend other manufacturers' atmospheric carriers, dressing them in its signature colors since they lacked a native atmospheric carrier design. This strategy worked and it helped establish future business relationships with the other manufacturers. This couldn't last forever though, as fervent A.E.C. activity and intense infighting have lead to a more isolationist policy and demands for more aggressive ship designs.

The link *should* work? If not then you can try looking through my Workshop for it.

the interceptor link is broken

That aside, I *may* plan to overhaul the Longbow's two bridges using SSGL techniques. Do not worry, I will give appropriate instructions and projectors if/when I get to that project. :P

Eek, that may be a new bug? I haven't encountered that particular issue up to this point, so you may want to send this to Keen as a Bug Report.

Another thing to point out, whenever I try to set the ship and all it's components to my faction it seems to break the hangar bay door open/close buttons and all the shutter open/close buttons for the bridges. Those are the only things I know of breaking if I change the ship's faction, but there could be more.

@Dargbleidd Ah! The turrets are disabled by default. (*This was during a time when the turrets would disobey IFF rules and shoot any grid not attached to it) I also had them hidden in the K-menu to loosen up the terminal clutter, but you can un-hide them and re-activate them. I will re-enable their K-menu visibility since the IFF issue has been solved in a recent patch.

How exavtly do you get the weapons working? they are completely inactive and they don't show up in the list of components on the ship
