steveman0's Todo List

Description
By request, the Todo List gives you the ability to create a list of simple reminders for future reference. It also provides a display for you to share that list with other players. A future update will add the ability to access the list remotely so you can update it on the go.

Known Issue:
Network clients can't access the todo list via remote when out of range of the machine.

And I have no clue if it's really "general" now either. For the base game I can only think of the power boosters and health ampules which work like that, so they might well have been added as exceptions like you say. If you could look at that when you got nothing else to do that would be great. If not, I'll probably survive with having 1 less slot in my main inventory ;)

Cool, thanks.

I thought the few cases were exceptions (power boosters) not general functionality. I could be mistaken. I didn't make that change myself and never looked into the details. If it's possible now then it wouldn't be too hard. I can add it to the list but still not likely anytime soon.

I was chatting with another modder and he told me that since one of the last patches it's an officially supported feature of the base game that you can use stuff from your suit inventory like that. But again, I can fully understand that you have more important things on your plate than an old mod you didn't update for quite a while. No worries!

Niche features which are included in the base game? Considering that you can use use stuff like power boosters from your suit inventory etc. But if you lack the time that's alright. It's obviously not that important for any of us.

I'm not sure what hoops Mad Vandal jumped through to make that possible. Just because it's possible doesn't mean it is easy or worth the effort to do so. With my schedule, I can't justify jumping through hoops for niche features.

And in functionality it's also very similar to your ToDo list remote, that's why I was wondering why it didn't work with your remote todo list check thingie as well...

Sorry, started typing without looking up details. It's the "Power Management Remote Display" from Mad Vandal's mod "Power Management". It can be put into the suit inventory, it can be placed into the hotbar, and it can be used from the hotbar while being in the suit. So it's obviously possible.

I have a suit item from another mod which is usable though. So I'm afraid you are wrong there.

I'm pretty sure that isn't possible. The remote is a usable item. It can't be used from within the suit inventory. It has to be in your inventory to be usable from the hotbar.
