In any case I replaced the offending obsolete cannon. I also removed anything over unlock level 5 to make it easier to spawn in survival. So the base is using small oxygen and fuel tanks now.
Technically a repair bay block should be added to the “repair bay”. Unfortunately it raises the unlock level. I figure, it is easy enough to spawn the base first and then add the higher tech equipment.
I was tempted to remove the decorative plants, weapons, etc. due to the plastic and Sathium requirement, but it makes the base a little boring. Maybe another time.

I hope you join the rest of us builders taking Empyrion to the next level!
Examples: What if the tower rails no longer support the outside/inward facing glass. What if the material strength and/or ability to support was decreased. All of these could also lead to problems.
Once I break away from my latest game addiction, I will check up on this blueprint and see how it is faring with the latest game engine.
If you want to make adjustments yourself to help address integrity, the easiest way is to spawn the base out in space in creative mode. There you can add/remove/change the needed supports and make a new copy of the blueprint. This is also a good way to make survival or PVP adjustments to the blueprint so that the base is more than just pretty to look at.
Thanks again.
I think integrity is a common issue with large structures. Before placing new blocks, check the integrity of the base. If you see a red region, attach a new block to any block already connected to the ground near the red region. This will usually recalculate integrity. Or the base comes crashing to the ground, but usually it recalculates integrity.
Practice creative mode and see if there are more effective ways to place the base.
Lastly having all players leave a planet so the server reloads that area, starting and stopping the server and/or restarting the game might help forcing integrity to recalculate. I just don’t consider those the best answers.
Hope that helps.
Thanks all.
