Description


Introduction
Immersive Personalities is a robust event pack (better than Coronations at least lol) that aims to make character personalities the heart of your Crusader Kings 3 story. This mod breathes life into every trait, making your choices and the personalities of those around you matter more than ever before. Your character's nature will now actively shape their journey, creating dynamic narratives, unexpected challenges, and glorious triumphs.
-> Currently, the mod adds 34 Traits and 500+ personality related events! (100k words!)

Features
  • Personality Archetypes: Introduces 34 unique secondary traits that add a new layer of depth to every character. From the Heroical Lion to the Wily Fox, and from the Pragmatic Bear to the Principled Wolf, these archetypes define core motivations and enrich roleplay.

  • Personality-Driven Events: Adds hundreds of new, immersive events for each vanilla personality trait and modded Archetype. Your choices, reflecting your character's nature, can lead to spectacular success or disastrous failure. These events dynamically shape your story through several new systems:

    • A Court of Personalities: Your court is now alive with intrigue. Courtiers, councillors, and consorts with opposing traits will clash publicly, forcing you to mediate disputes. Conversely, characters with shared values will band together to propose initiatives, conspire with you, or make demands of a weak liege.

    • Lively Childhood: Your children's personalities matter. Siblings with clashing traits will bicker, scheme, and bully one another, while those with shared values will team up for games or good deeds. Intervene in their quarrels to shape their development, or let them forge their own rivalries and friendships.

    • Deep Consort & Harem Intrigue: Manage the drama of your personal harem with a vast collection of new consort-focused events. Settle feuds between partners with opposing values, intervene in cases of bullying, and navigate the complex social dynamics of a large household—perfect for China!.

    • For Rulers and Wanderers Alike: All personality events feature unique variations tailored to your context, whether you are a landed ruler managing a realm or an unlanded adventurer surviving on the road.

  • A Comely Child: Player's children (or character) have a small chance of "discovering" a genetic trait, if they do not already possess it, upon turning 12 years old, through an event (total of 16 possibilities). Positive genetic traits have a slightly higher chance.

  • Dynamic Opinions: Vassals and courtiers will now judge your actions based on their own personalities. Every decision you make in the mod's events will generate either "Good Impressions" or "Bad Impressions," shaping their opinion of your rule.

  • Meaningful Reputations: Events grant dozens of new temporary character modifiers that build a reputation over time. Be hailed as a Visionary Leader for a successful gamble, or be branded a Reckless Schemer for a plot that backfires.

Miscellaneous
  • More Opinion Icons: This mod adds illustrated icons to dozens of opinion modifiers that are blank in the vanilla game. Inspired by the icons for vassal stances, this feature gives visual life to relationships such as 'Fellow Vassal,' 'Councillor,' and 'General Opinion,' providing a more aesthetically pleasing and immersive UI.

  • Less Skill Randomization: In vanilla, generated characters have a base skill value ranging from 0 to 10. Now, each skill has a fixed base value of 5. With this change, a character's traits, education, and modifiers become the main factors in their development.

  • Less "Paranoid": Paranoid stress increase reduced from 100% to 50% (a small buff!)

How It Works
  • The Archetypes are assigned automatically based on core personality traits.
  • At the start of a new game, or when a character turns 16, they are evaluated.
  • If a character has 3 or fewer standard personality traits (e.g., Ambitious, Chaste, Wrathful), the mod analyzes their traits and assigns a fitting Archetype, avoiding cluttering characters who already have a highly defined personality.
  • Average CD of 5 years per event (Court, Councillors, Courtiers, Children, Consorts).
  • Demeanor traits will be automatically disabled from Chat GPT Flavor Pack

Compatibility
  • Compatible with everything: the purpose of this mod is to add flavor content.
  • New personality traits, such as those from AGOT, won't be taken into account.
  • Savegame: Use 'Assign Personality Archetype' interaction on your character.
  • No DLC required! However, for Nomad/Adventurer variants, you need the DLCs.

Future Plans
  • Further manual revision of all AI generated texts.
  • Improve scripts and effects to be more balanced.
  • Add 'Skill Challenge' events (depression, debate, etc).
  • Expand gameplay features related to personality traits.
  • Maybe the integration of the AGOT personality traits.
  • Like/Favorite if you enjoyed the mod, supporting further development.

-> Manor Domicile (Feudal/Clan) (Introduces new domicile types for feudal/clan/tribals)
-> Royal Court for Dukes (Unlocks royal court for dukes in a balanced way)
-> Simple Graphic Pack (A careful selection of edited and compatibilized graphic mods)

@Olympia, the beast! Hello, friend. I'm glad you liked the mod! :)

There's no "script" conflict between the mods. The only incompatibility is aesthetic, since the traits share the same icons (after all, I borrowed Olympia's icons).
