env_microphones don't swallow input sounds

Description
For my whole existence I thought that microphone entities in L4D2 removing the original sound and only playing the ones from the speaker was just how the game worked.
But no from this video I learnt that that's just a spawnflag these things could have.

This script removes the flag that removes the original input sound from env_microphone entities, allowing both sounds to be played at once in Dead Center map 2, Dark Carnival map 5, and The Passing map 1.

Also Whitaker will destroy your ears.

honestly kinda pmo how poorly implemented microphones are in L4D2 considering the microphone entity keeps playing the sound even if it gets cut off, kinda like how the subtitles keep displaying even if the voiceline that's playing gets cut off

I figured this out a long while ago and thought it was pretty funny that I could spam screaming or something in the whitaker store lol

I always assumed the game just plays every single audio that passes through it with no regards to queueing and interruptions. It's why people love spamming screams at the mic at DC given the game just plays everything at the same time.

This works with other campaigns that use env_microphone too?

A little bit buggy. If you move away from the microphone before the voice line is finished, then when you move back it will finish the sound after having been cut off.

Does that mean when others use the microphone on C2M5 they'll hear the boosted voice properly? instead of it just going to the speakers if you're not the host of the server.
