Proteus Anguinus

Description
Proteus anguinus, or the olm, is a neotenic, cave-dwelling salamander native to Europe. It is remarkable for its mildly nightmarish appearance, lack of eyes, lazy lifestyle, and a lifespan of up to 100 years, with an average of ~70 years.

Funnels are one of my favorite mechanics, so I was shocked to see the last map I made with one is 2 years old already. The puzzle began as a remake of Barrier, however I was dissatisfied with how it turned out, so I started experimenting, making changes, and eventually ended up with a completely different puzzle. Personally I wish the piston platforms would've seen a bit more use, but I'm very happy with how this turned out still. Difficulty-wise I'd estimate this map to be easy-medium, leaning towards easy.

The behind-the-scenes vista here was inspired by and based off mp_coop_tbeam_drill. I wanted to do something I haven't done before, and I haven't worked with BTS areas much, and when I did they always strayed from Portal 2's design. The idea was that the map is set in a less broken (or I guess more repaired) version of co-op course 4's post-Wheatley setting. Stylistically this roughly follows the same, E3-inspired style as Amphiuma Tridactylum.

I don't have anything else to add, so just enjoy solving this!

E L Y T R O N thank you so much!! I'm not the biggest fan of jail bars either, I prefer them over a custom fizzler though. Thanks for correcting me on the species name, I updated the description

Loving your maps, you earned yourself a follow (not sure why I was not already)! Jailbars are not my favorite but they made sense here. All went smoothly. :steamhappy:

FYI, the biologist in me needs to let you know that binomial naming formatting by convention would be Proteus anguinus (full marks for italics, and the genus name is capitalized, but the species name should not be)

@Test Chamber Junkie I added an antline between the button and the dropper. Having the light sound only play once feel a bit weird I think, but I changed it to a much quieter one so it shouldn't be as annoying now. Thank you for playing!

OH! Is it possible to add an Ant-line connection to the cube dropper?

:p2blue: My Blind Playthrough :p2orange: Its a fun puzzle!
I do have some mild criticism, though:
Does the sound trigger for the lights really need to go off more than once?
Other than that, an enjoyable play experience. Thanks for sharing!:p2cube::p2chell:
