FYI, the biologist in me needs to let you know that binomial naming formatting by convention would be Proteus anguinus (full marks for italics, and the genus name is capitalized, but the species name should not be)
I do have some mild criticism, though:
Does the sound trigger for the lights really need to go off more than once?

Didn't think a fall that short would provide enough momentum for the cube to reach the platform, but I didn't take gravity and the extra height of the flinging panel into account. Tried it and it worked.

But, I've only solved the 1st several moves and the last move. The in-between parts elude me so far. Tried a bunch of different moves that didn't get me anywhere to connecting point A to point B. Probably overthinking it.
I'll try again tomorrow.
