Description
Crikey! It's a bloody time machine!

Oi mate! Welcome to Futura Town! Australia's Model city in technological advancements, built to show everyone else that they are just a bunch of hippies!

Due time constraints we decided to upload earlier than planned so even though the map is playable, it isn't finished yet, but we are still working on it and even more features and custom assets are on the way still this month!

GOALS LIST:
>Fix/Improve gameplay issues
>More cars at the dealer/cowfé and custom vans instead of placeholder
>Custom doors models instead of brushes
>Custom announcer VA with lore
>Kangaroo bots!
>Governamental Propaganda around the map
>Posters, paintings and ads around the map
>Custom Ads on TVs and Billboards
>Improved sounds
>Easter eggs
>3D Skyboxes
>Lunon Crystal Gathering
>Replace placeholder props (stone age capture points, blockers etc)
>Arrows for better navigation
>General designer props/memorabilia
>More stuff I can't remember atm but I promisse it's cool stuff

With over 1000 custom assets made from scratch, Futura Town is a Payload map with the extravagant twist of time traveling! Seamlessly travel back to the Stone Age while fighting to gather Lunon crystals, the fuel that makes time traveling possible!

Now that I've actually played it in a test, my concerns feel validated. This doesn't feel like it was made with gameplay in mind at all. Too distracting visually and doesn't feel right for the game. The time travel gimmick doesn't add anything of value. The cart is very slow for the entire map and as a result BLU can be brought to a halt very easily. Map in general feels bad to navigate, which yes, I know is something in the plans, but that's not something a workshop map that intends to be added officially should be lacking.

Lastly, I feel like the ambitions for this are way too high both in general and for how little time is left before Scream Fortress. This gives me the impression of an art project, not a multiplayer map, and you should be designing it as the latter. Even if this gets finished I don't see it getting good reception from the Casual crowd.
