PorkBean's Yamatai (Antiquity Age Civilization)

Description
Launch Japan into the Antiquity Age as the elusive Kingdom of Yamatai, one of the best known statelets of the Yayoi period. This ancient polity was at the heart of a confederation of Japanese chiefdoms, as listed in the records of the Wei dynasty. In Civ 7, Yamatai benefits by maintaining a strong Capital supported by many Towns, and using its Unique Improvement to generate Culture from wide rural areas.

Beneath the watchtowers, the shaman-rulers of Yamatai divine their destiny. Beyond the palisade walls, past the farmers and rice fields, determined diplomats prepare for their journey across the waves. Take hold of the sacred mirror, and see reflected the foundations of the land of Wa.

Version 4 has been released! Just some text updates to match the changes made to the Firaxis civs, and a new sub-event for José Rizal's early quest line.

Just pushed out version 3! This fixes a lot of the conditions for Narrative Events - big thanks to all who reported activation issues. Some of the game text has also changed based on feedback, to better specify the amount of Culture/Gold/etc you get from various abilities. All changes are listed in the change notes.

I have gotten a narrative event from Yamatai while playing as Isabella and Persia, so there is an issue here?
It was an event which talked about Himiko greeting a princess just born and gave either a cultural attribute point or 2 culture on altars, and I got it after improving a rice tile.

This is a selfish want more than a balance change but man I wish some of the civics and traditions were switched around! The wet tile focus is so unique and fun, I wish I could carry the extra food and healing forward into future eras instead of the more niche stuff like units getting combat strength for a specific setup or towns getting food during celebrations (which is a bit of an odd duck of a card anyway - I found myself just slotting it whenever the game prompts you to switch up cards at the start of a celebration then removing it the rest of the time). Wanting them to be switched around it more of a JNR's Khmer Baray swap type change though where it makes them more fun in future eras but your current approach is definitely more in line with base game balance. VERY FUN MOD though can't wait for those art tools. And looking forward to using that new Rice starting bias for some busted Confucius spawns

Version 2 has just been released! This version tones down some of the Influence gain possible from the Hashihaka Kofun and Taifu, based on feedback. It also makes some adjustments to the Hinamori, and adds several new Narrative Events. All changes are listed in the change notes!

hashihaka Kofun is overpowered though. You'd just have to tweak it a little bit, like turn the +1 adjacency bonus into a +0.25, or change it so that its "+1 influence on buildings adjacent to rural improvements" so that it doesn't stack. Every time I get this wonder in antiquity i end up making, like, 60 influence per turn

@younes Yes, more are on the way! I'd like to aim for about 6-8 per civilization.
