KNOWN ISSUES IN 1.6
  • The game WILL CRASH if you have Death Rattle installed and a pawn with Low Skymind Network Signal appears. You can temp fix it by installing Cherrypicker and removing Low Skymind Network Signal.
  • The custom scenarios added by this mod DO NOT work. Your pawns will not spawn upon landing. Use vanilla scenarios.
  • Odyssey features are NOT implemented. Androids are not space immune.
  • Skymind stuff is buggy with a gravship. Reports in comments are that servers will reset and lose progress and minds stored in the cloud can vanish when the gravship moves.
  • May have some issues with Vanilla Vehicles Expanded (a commenter reported "There is an error where GUI disappears when you arrive in the area carrying a prisoner.")

Expect bugs and glitches, but should be playable.

- Adds 5 tiers of android along with an android doggo
- 2 new android factions
- Allow to remotely control connected surrogate androids
- Allow to digitize and store your colonists minds in the SkyCloud
- Android specific diseases like rust, hacking (mind viruses) etc.
- Tons of replaceable upgrades / downgrades for androids
- Fully customizable
- More, etc etc

For 1.6:
- Notably there was some change in 1.6 to how right click menu options are patched in or something and it was breaking the mod option that you can set so androids can't eat food, so I just deleted that option. Set your Androids to a None food policy to simulate that behavior instead.
- I have a 12 hour save with a 200+ modlist on 1.6 with this that has had very few issues so it works surprisingly well, though currently there is a game crashing mod conflict with Death Rattle.
- I actually deleted the 1.0-1.4 versions so this mod isn't compatible with those versions of Rimworld. Just use the original mod if you're for whatever reason still on them.
- Definitely not tested for compatibility with other mods so I'm sure there will be some footguns there.
- It reuses the mod ID from the 1.5 unofficial update too so you'll probably want to unsubscribe from other versions of this mod.

!!! Use at your own discretion !!! (as in, !!! back up your saves !!!), this thing is a total zombie of version updates at this point.

Androids are not space immune, Odyssey features aren't implemented at all.

For a temp fix you can install Cherrypicker and remove that hediff. I was working on a fix the other day but it broke preexisting saves so I have not published it.

Are you running Death Rattle? Known incompatibility with it and that particular hediff at the moment

Ah, forgot an important part: the problem started with an apperance of an trade caravan, which at the time was just a grind to a 1 TPS crawl. When I've tried to look at the caravan then the game crashed.

Yet, those weren't the only errors in the trace and not the only mods I've added at this run, but I don't see any traces from other mods. So, I won't say definitvely, even if AT is the cause, a part of the issue, or just there by accident.

Moving the Skynet core character in M8 will also cause the character to disappear
