The recent transition to Build 42.11.0 required a lot of unexpected work just to get the mod fully functional again. While the game update introduced many new possibilities, it also took a good amount of time just to ensure everything was working properly.
Adding new features will take a bit more time. I can't give a specific timeframe, as modding is a hobby I do in my free time, but I am actively working on it. I appreciate your patience and support.
However, if you're using a mod that adds NPCs and you'd like them to appear on the minimap, let me know which mod it is. I can look into whether it's possible to make them visible and potentially add compatibility in a future update.
1. Verify Game Files: Close Project Zomboid. In Steam Library, right-click Project Zomboid > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files...
2. Force a Mod Re-install: If step 1 doesn't work, try this. Close Project Zomboid. In Steam, unsubscribe from the mod, wait a few seconds, then subscribe again.
3. Reset Mod Settings: If the problem persists, your mod options file might be corrupted.
- Go to C:\Users\[your username]\Zomboid\Lua\ModOptions.ini.
- Make a backup of this file first!
- Open it and delete any lines containing "MSO_".
- If that doesn't work, try deleting the entire ModOptions.ini file.
Please let me know if any of these steps help you!
Please also check which game version you’re using — you can see it in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. If you’re on an older build, the mod won't work as expected.
Once I know more about the issue, I’ll be happy to help you fix it.
