I'm using your mod and have noticed that the minimap only displays forest terrain, with no residential buildings shown. Could this be caused by the fact that I'm in a map area added by the mod? For reference, I am using the mod's map and started in the nearby area.

First of all, thank you for your help. I followed all the steps you suggested, even activated the Minimap Style Options mod, started a new game, and tried again, but it still didn't work. I still can't figure out what the problem is.

@Afyrmo, I'm seeing a sore lack of tip jar in this mod description and want to support this awesome mod, DM me?

@Cuddlygunman, adding blips for vehicles and enemies is a great idea and is high on my list of features to implement an option for that.

The recent transition to Build 42.11.0 required a lot of unexpected work just to get the mod fully functional again. While the game update introduced many new possibilities, it also took a good amount of time just to ensure everything was working properly.

Adding new features will take a bit more time. I can't give a specific timeframe, as modding is a hobby I do in my free time, but I am actively working on it. I appreciate your patience and support.

@Error Occurred, right now, Build 42 is only available for single-player. Because of this, my mod is focused on improving the single-player minimap, so there aren't any other players to display on it.

However, if you're using a mod that adds NPCs and you'd like them to appear on the minimap, let me know which mod it is. I can look into whether it's possible to make them visible and potentially add compatibility in a future update.

@LittleNightMare33, It's a very unusual bug that can occur with incomplete updates. Here are three steps to try, in order.

1. Verify Game Files: Close Project Zomboid. In Steam Library, right-click Project Zomboid > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files...

2. Force a Mod Re-install: If step 1 doesn't work, try this. Close Project Zomboid. In Steam, unsubscribe from the mod, wait a few seconds, then subscribe again.

3. Reset Mod Settings: If the problem persists, your mod options file might be corrupted.
- Go to C:\Users\[your username]\Zomboid\Lua\ModOptions.ini.
- Make a backup of this file first!
- Open it and delete any lines containing "MSO_".
- If that doesn't work, try deleting the entire ModOptions.ini file.

Please let me know if any of these steps help you!

@Afyrmo, Have you looked into the option to display vehicles and enemies, and if so, is there any chance you could give us an estimated timeframe, I really miss my Eris Minimap in B42 and that's the feature I'm most excited about by far
Error Occurred 28 Aug @ 12:32pm
if its possible you should add a way to make other players visible as blips on the minimap

Thak you afyrmo but I'm already on build 42 version 11. There are other mods, but even when I remove them and use only the Minimap Style Options mod, I try to open the map, but it doesn't appear on my screen. I don't know why.
Afyrmo  [author] 26 Aug @ 10:02am
@LittLeNiGhtMare33, could you provide more details about what isn’t working exactly? Without more information, it’s hard to troubleshoot. The mod has been tested and is working correctly on the latest Project Zomboid build 42.11.0.

Please also check which game version you’re using — you can see it in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. If you’re on an older build, the mod won't work as expected.

Once I know more about the issue, I’ll be happy to help you fix it.
