Description
DESCRIPTION
This mod introduces dynamic and customizable warzone areas that fill the streets with battling AI and can turn a city into a no go zone. With some imagination you can create raids, battlefields, and populated cities by using the available config options.
  • Create multiple, fully configurable warzones
  • Warzones are fully managed and reactive to players
  • Highly configurable
  • Very unpredictable

FEATURE LIST
  • Configure individual chance for each zone that it will be active during the current restart period
  • Configure two distinct teams per zone with loadouts, factions, activity, sex, accuracy etc etc and spawning locations
  • Domination option allows one team to dominate the zone over time, or to keep both teams balanced in numbers
  • Configure special effects per zone such as fire smoke and explosions
  • Configure team specific smoke grenades and AI will use them allowing players a visual way to track the movement of the battle as it moves around the zone
  • AI spawnpoints can be captured and held by players remaining in the area of the spawnpoint. Useful to create scenarios where players can manipulate the battlefield for their own gain
  • Fully self managed:
    ---> Zones activate in stages as players approach slowly increasing the total number of AI and FX
    ---> AI despawn, geo fence, dead body cleanup, zone clean up, AI weapons clean up, FX management and spawn caps
    ---> Configure the frequency of FX, individually limit FX and define containment radius for FX
    ---> Configure max concurrent active zones to help limit server load
    ---> Smart despawning ensures AI, bodies or weapons will not despawn if a player is near
    ---> Smart spawning ensures AI or explosions will not unfairly surprise nearby players

USAGE TIPS
This mod is very configurable and flexible. With the proper settings you can create raids, battlefields or populate cities and areas.
  • battlefield - create team spawns on either side of the zone center and set activity to 2, 3, or 4. Give them a couple hundred meter zoneRadius to fight and keep the zoneAINoiseInvestigationRange turned up to like 900m

  • raid - create one team spawn away from zone center and give that team activity of 2. Create second team spawn near the zone center and use activity 2 or 1 depending on your needs. Give them a big enough zoneRadius to fight and keep the zoneAINoiseInvestigationRange turned up to like 900m

  • populate areas - set both teams to same faction. The result will be an area filled with ai who are not fighting each other (assuming the faction is friendly to itself). Use activity mode as you see fit. Use a faction non hostile to players to populate friendly areas

  • DO NOT USE GRAVE CROSSES OR BODYBAGS FOR AI

  • using activity mode of 3 or 4 can be heavy for server performance in crowded urban areas

  • AI activity setting only gives the AI a goal. How they go about achieving that goal is up to them.

  • while this mod is performant minded overusing it with to many concurrent zones can bring a server to it's knees. Be mindful of the total ai you will spawn inside a zone and across all maxConcurrentZones. I would not suggest allowing more than 1-3 active zones at once... depending on your server environment


It is recommend to read the config explanation and look at the default config for examples

Checkout the expansion wiki and the faction descriptions. Guards will agro on you if you raise a weapon near them. Your best bet is to give the player a default faction such as West and give your friendly team the same faction. Then they will only agro on you if you tk one of them. Thats all expansion and how factions work

Thanks for the mod, lots of fun. I am having a problem though - when I set one side to Guards and the others to Raiders (as an example), with the desire for having one team friendly to players and one aggro, the friendly team aggros on me as soon as I engage with the enemy faction. Is this a bug? How do you properly configure this?

this is amazing thank you for the great mod! i just checked out Berezino and wow, downed twice but made it out alive somehow! would you consider adding a timer onto the respawning or perhaps a configurable wave type simulation? its a bit chaotic is all! :steamhappy:

@agent001, great mod thank you. If it is possible, some good addition might be damage in/out multipliers and min/max spawn radius.

@agent001 Will you add a setting to disable respawning bots or setting to respawning bots by timer? (players can kill bots from to clear area and loot location)
