CURSED AND CURED UPDATE!!!!!

IMPORTANT!!!!
1. This mod now requires "Questline Enabler Mod" as well.
2. This mod is not compatible with old saves that used any version of the cultist mod before version 0.2.0. We are very sorry but we just couldn't find a way to get it to work. to experience the new version of this mod, you have to start a new save!

Absolutely MASSIVE update!

Update includes:
- Melee Cultists are now in the mod! Melee cultists will ambush the player and if they hit you with their blade you become poisoned. Poison removes 3hp per 100 frames.
- Cultist Knife lootable from cultist bodies and works like actual knife! Just run up to people and/or creatures to deal 10 damage per hit. The poison effect against enemies however, is not present when knife is used by player.
- Text notification of being poisoned/Poison teardrop debuff animation tracks on player character's face/Text notification when low health from poison
- Cultists with guns do not fire upon player unless player fires first at either them or the melee cultists.
- New consumable item Augmentin when used clears the player of any poison debuff
- Brand new quest available from Expert Armorsmith that unlocks the Augmentin item (note: this quest only unlocks after being poisoned by the cultists once)
- Augmentin added to loot pools of cultists and tree with a 2% chance of looting it from cultists and a 4% chance to loot it from the cultist tree.
- New barter item Cultist Medallion. A rare high-value drop that can be found on cultists and tree with these drop rates:
Cultist Follower: 2%
Cultist Leader: 10%
Cultist Tree: 4%


Note!
-Tree always spawns any time if it can find a suitable location, it is only lootable if the cultists spawn however.
-Candles now line around the cultist circle, they automatically light with animated little candlefires at 20:00.
-If Cultists spawn roll succeeds, but player is near tree, cultists will wait for the player to leave the location before spawning in as to prevent cultists spawning right on top of player. Player must be at least 350 units away from tree before cultists can spawn.

There's a new face in the bunker, his name is Cade. He presents himself as an Expert Armorsmith who can repair any level of armor, who may or may not also hold a dark past. Ask him questions, complete his quests and figure out the dark puzzle of the cultist faction.

What this mod does:

-New Enemy Faction "Cultists". Will spawn with a cultist "Leader" and a random number of cultist "Followers" between 2 and 4. Only 1 group of cultists will spawn in a raid and will be together. They dynamically spawn only at night between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 with a spawn chance of 35%.
-Adds new NPC named Expert Armorsmith in the hub.
-Lore attached to NPC through questions
-Adds 3 new quests!:
The Collector
Man, I'm Starving!
(Both quests reward player with new Cultist armors "Cultist Jacket" and "Cultist Cloak")
A new quest that only unlocks after being poisoned by the cultists.
-Adds trades for various tools through Expert Armorsmith
- New Item Augmentin which can cure poison by cultists.
- Quest related to unlocking Item Augmentin.
- New rare high-value barter item Cultists Medallion. Only found on cultists and/or the Tree.

(Note: Since right now Repair Armor function is tied directly to the Doctor, Expert Armorsmith can't actually repair armors above lvl 4. This will hopefully be able to be achieved soon, in talks with devs about it.)

Plans for future updates include:
-Master Armorsmith able to repair armors above level 4.
-Quests tied to killing cultists.
-Lore related to cultists.
-Cultists Spawning only at night
-Cultists tree added
-1 or 2 melee followers per cultist group.
-Sounds that play when cultists have spawned in and sounds that play when you get near them.

Update: Just letting everyone know that I am seeing all the comments and concerns about the performance issues and bugs. I have not abandoned this project I have just been away and pretty busy with work and just casually gaming on the side. I have not updated this mod since before the prologue was released so I am not sure how exactly this mod is performing right now myself. I should be back to work out the bugs and issues sometime either this weekend or next weekend. Stay tuned! I plan on keeping this mod in tact!

this mod causes the game to lag heavily, i dont know why, please fix.

Mod is peak, the only problem I have the similar error as some

same problem as askal, new version, new save, but still buggy. Over all, if you improve the system and the devs cared about the modding community and added some stuff like an ease of life one then there would be no doubt that, that this mod would most likely be in every zero sieverts' fan list

for now I have it disabled so I can conserve my mats since, I keep crashing and I don't want to deplete my gear

this mod seems to polished and filled with passion, and it is mind you, but unfortunately this mod is just unusable for me, it crashed my game, made my cursor stuck on the edge of the screen.

to anyone that might need this, on how to remotely force end the Zero Sievert task while your mouse is stuck, Ctrl + Shift + Esc for task manager, use your arrow keys to navigate, search zero sievert and press enter, then press Alt + E to forcibly end a task, sincerely from a hunter!

@Comrade Amoni Thank you! glad you are enjoying the mod so far! Yeah I'll look into the tree. I'm not a great pixel artist admittedly. But the cultist do indeed have black outlines.

Also the cultists, the cultists should also receive a dark outline. (was hard to tell at the night, but it didn't seem that they had one.)

Love the mod so far! Only comment is that the tree should be retextured to have a black outline around it, and maybe a third pixel color for the bark. AS it is, it stands out from the map in a very not good way-

The chalk lines around it are awesome tho.

@Askal Yes, but there is a questline that is unavailable to you unless you start a new save. You wont be able to unlock the augmentin questline, making it near impossible to deal with cultists poison.

Thankfully, restarting game fixes it. And lagging doesn't last long either, so I'll try to continue playing with my existing saves if possible.
I'll consider changing my save if it becomes totally impossible to play. Thanks.
