Description
What does this mod do:

1. Prevents generic generals from ever spawning in. (Yellow Turbans and Nanman need generics so they will still have generic generals, i have drastically reduced the spawns of generics for those factions though)

2. The A.I. will not be able to execute characters. This mod only works if the A.I cannot execute characters. If they could, you would possibly need generic clones to replace them.

3. This mod also features functionality to which historical generals will have preferences to who they join, when, and have certain criteria when deciding what to do. This portion is heavily based off of Inter-Objects Gathering Heroes mod.

Requirements:

Please ensure you subscribe and enable Sandbox and Core Object mods or this mod may not work properly.

This mod will basically disable any generic general creation so its highly recommended you subscribe to a seperate mod that amps up Historical Character spawns such as my collection of [ROTK TROM + TUP]

If you only subscribe to part 5 of my collection and then parts 1-4 from the original authors TROM + TUP, that might work too. The spawns will the be based off the original authors setting and probably more historical but then if you retain part 5 of my collection, the Ai will budget more for characters and prioritize characters

With way less generals spawning in, I have no idea how this mod will play without my version of TROM + TUP so beware!

This mod was intended to be played with my collection of TROM + TUP ONLY.

You can use this mod in tandem with the original authors TROM + TUP but just know you could see some odd playthroughs based on character spawn. Some factions might have very few characters starting out which could have unintended results.

The current status of this mod WILL allow some generic generals to spawn in, it has just been reduced as much as possible. This is to ensure that all historicals have a chance to spawn into the game.

Sorry guys for the hiccup, when i return to modding this daily in a few weeks, I will be going through potentially 700 - 1000 character CEO's and making sure they are not attached to a generic ID. This mod is really important to me so I will do my best to make sure it operates as smooth and as intended as can be by end of October. See you all then :)

You bet! I believe i may have fixed some items relating to YT recruiting but please do report back if there's insta deaths, no characters in the pool, etc.

After digging, i just realized this mod has a long road ahead an i am about to take a much needed break. Please report anything game breaking and i will try to fix asap. Otherwise future updates will start in 2-3 weeks. Reason for this is, i have an extended work leave coming up starting October 10th. I plan to work on this mod during that week and hopefully have a way better working mod for you all and myself. The issue i have found is, i eliminated generic generals however some historicals were not spawning in due to being tied to a CEO that rendered the historical figure, generic.

At least i think this is the case because as soon as i allowed some generics to spawn in, wayyy more real heroes were dropping in that i wasn't seeing in my prev campaign.

Alright so, im glad i looked into the yellow turban issue. One recommendation i do have is to have timeless characters selected on.

If you want to play with timeless characters off, this mod should still work but this mod is intended to play with absolutely no death other than with non-historical, generic generals.

That said, finding a fix to the YT issue has not been as easy as initially thought and i also ran across one other issue of some historical generals not spawning in. I ran out of time today but i will look into a fix in the coming week since this affecting my campaigns too. Stay tuned. Mod is playable at the moment with some unintended consequences, nothing game breaking

Just sent out a new update but will be looking to update the mod again in the next 48 hours to address YT and Nanman generic generals death of old age.

Im a few months late to respond but, I know exactly what the issue would be as I had a hunch this would happen when i was adjusting the mod.
