3. Not sure what could've caused the crash. If it happens again, post the game log, but since you continued the game I think it will have overwritten the part relevant to the crash.
1. For the text on assimilated heroes, I don't think there's anything I can do about that. As far as I can tell, the game assumes that any character card owned by the villain should be formatted like villain character cards, which aren't supposed to have power text. If you try it with Earth Prime heroes, they even have the landscape format like Earth Prime villains. You can right-click Viral's character card to see which assimilated heroes have which text on them.

Third time was the charm. Text box was still borked on the assimilated, but the round was good fun.
First bit, not sure how you could deal with it, but the assimilated heroes didn't get the normal visibility box on their card, making the text super hard to read against the full art. That's mostly just a visual thing though and not that big of a deal in the grand scheme. That persisted in both starts.
Second bit, one of the assimilation cards failed to assimilate a hero on my first attempt. It didn't delete itself and I assumed it wouldn't and result in a hard lock so I restarted.
Third bit, got a fresh batch of assimilated heroes, but then the game black screen crashed itself. Again not sure what you'd need to figure that out, or if it was a one-off.
Have the entire workshop downloaded, and it did use several of the modded characters, with 1-2 base game dudes each round. Was playing in Earth-Prime version client.
I had an issue where the the flip text of Central Core did not activate.
Who was that cloaked figure in the villain's place on the victory screen though?
