VScript Free-For-All starring the Open Fortress Mercenary!










This is a conversion of tc_hydro into deathmatch, with both last points blocked off, and the other 4 areas open at all time. It's a large map intended for 24 and 32 player servers.

@masterchief While I don't think a timer will solve the problems of those gamemodes, I will consider it just because many people want it.

Thank you for the respond i wish you and your team goodluck on it, il definitely vote for the vip mode the moment it apears on the workshop, i also saw you suggesting an arena fix wich i personaly would love to see added to the game aswel, i do have one more question tho is there a chance you could make anothet vscropt fix but for the modes such as: ctf, plr and mp, by adding an timer to it like some maps for those modes already have like helltrain?

@masterchief Yes,we still plan to support DM and GunGame. Although my current #1 priority is the Mobster VIP.

Lizard i have a question, since the tf2 sdk got updated and we probably gona get an official steam release of OF, are you still planning to update this mode and gungame?

I'm making a rewrite to the core code to improve performance and in general make things better. It will take a while, but the gamemode is not abandoned.

Oh okay, so they are distinct and not just "re-skins," nice. makes more sense now. also I agree, you are making the better decision by working with them instead of emulating them without due credit. as an off game mode, these script maps are always hugely impressive, even if they push the boundaries of the base game. it's better you're being experimental and doing cool stuff!
