Unofficial Patches for Kenshi EN

Description
This is the English language module for the UPK. Please see below for more details.

The Unofficial Patches for Kenshi (UPK) is a compilation of published bugfixes and several QoL improvements into one mod that's easy to download and manage. The changes incorporated here either are my own, or were provided with permission from the original mod authors. Please check the Credits[www.nexusmods.com] for the names and links to what mods have been incorporated with author's permission and go give them a thumbs-up (here on Steam) or endorsement (on Nexus)! Some changes include the following:

The Unofficial Kenshi Patch
Slopeless (Nexus Version)[www.nexusmods.com]
Fixes provided by SCARaw (i.e. Crab Tournament FIX[www.nexusmods.com], Limbs Icons Fix[www.nexusmods.com])
Fixes provided by Shidan (i.e. Shidan's Tweaks & Fixes [Fixes only])
GE0DZ's Tweaks[www.nexusmods.com] (my own contributions)
Grammar Paladin - Reupload (EN module only)
And much more...

If you want a complete breakdown of what's been changed, please read the Full Changelog[www.nexusmods.com] for more info. For assistance with any issues that may arise with using the UPK, please read the Compatibility and Troubleshooting[www.nexusmods.com] guide. You may also find more info in this mods comments section both here and on Steam. For any questions regarding modding in general, please check out the following Discord servers:

IMPORTANT
As of Version 3.3 of the Unofficial Patches for Kenshi, the UPK has been split into two mods. Both mods work independently of each other, though in the future the EN module may require the Main module as a dependency:

Unofficial Patches for Kenshi (Main module, all bugfixes and Qol improvements, as well as grammar changes related to new items, research, etc.)
Unofficial Patches for Kenshi EN (English module, all vanilla grammar corrections to dialogue, names, descriptions, etc.)

The reason for this is because of how many grammar changes were incorporated with Grammar Paladin. Kenshi's player base ranges across the world, and I felt uncomfortable making changes that might result in non-English speaking players being unable to understand numerous dialogue changes. Modding at the end of the day is about trying to keep things new and fun for everyone, and I want to avoid doing something that could massively infringe on that goal. Therefore, going forward this is how the UPK will be structured:

Included in both modules
Any Dialogue changes that address bugs (i.e. Honest Big Grim - Quest Fix, Tinfist's WANTED poster reward and Skeleton repair bed cost typos)
All Dialogue Condition changes
All Dialogue Effect changes
All Dialogue trigger changes
Removed Dialogue changes
Removed Dialogue Condition changes
Removed Dialogue Effect changes
Removed Dialogue trigger changes
All current Dialogue Package changes
All current New Dialogue changes (i.e. Fixed Vanilla Raids and Recruit Ray by freeing him[www.nexusmods.com])

Included in UPK EN
Vanilla Dialogue grammar corrections
All Word Swap changes (including new word swaps such as any of the OPENER word swaps)
Vanilla Name corrections
Vanilla Description grammar corrections

Not included in UPK EN
New Items (i.e. Fishsticks, no way to split off item names/descriptions)
New Names (i.e. Composite Runners + Strings Fix, too reliant on core mod changes to split off on its own)
New Descriptions (i.e. Composite Runners + Strings Fix)

PATCHES
Additionally, there are several patches for the UPK. Please check out the mod's Steam page and/or read through the UPK's Compatibility and Troubleshooting guide for more info.

Unofficial Patches for Kenshi - Limb Icons Fix (Anatomical) Patch
Unofficial Patches for Kenshi - No Running Garru Herd Fix
Unofficial Patches for Kenshi - No Stone Camp Trader's Patch
Unofficial Patches for Kenshi - Reduced Stones and some Other Foliage Patch

MIRRORS
Nexus Mods is currently the only other place where the UPK is being updated by me. There are no plans to use any other modding site at this time. All modules and patches can be found here.

@ephemeraltoast Interesting, I'll have to do some testing on my end to see if I get the same result. Only thing I can think of is somehow there's dialogue still being modified by the main UPK that is competing, but I can't think of why.

Hi there, I'm seeing strange results with this mod. None of the grammar fixes in the dialog text are showing up (e.g. I'm seeing greengrocer's comma's galore) and bar recruits list their price twice like this: (6000 cats) [6000 cats]. However, all the Bar Thugs that needed proper names do have them (I think that's what "vanilla name corrections" refers to) so I think it's at least partially working. I use the main Unofficial Patches mod and I don't believe I use anything else that should change the text in the game.

@Quint ¤ ς ¤ This is the English module of the Unofficial Patches for Kenshi that fixes grammar and misspellings, you will want to check the link in the description for the main module that fixes gameplay bugs and issues.

As for the issues you've listed, there are a few fixes for inaccessible building locations in the main module, though I don't believe the ones you have listed have been addressed yet. I do know Lysten, the creator of the Unofficial Kenshi Patch , determined that the weird camp furniture under Ark was not fixable as changes could not be saved.

The Unofficial Patches for Kenshi v3.3 is done. Completely did the opposite of what I said I would do with Nexus and Steam, somehow managed to break Nexus' ability to handle changelogs with all the dialogue fixes included in this version, so I'll have to fix that at a later date. But for now the mod is finally up!

An important note, the UPK has been broken into two mods going forward. Both work independently of each other as of their current versions, but in the future the language module may be dependent on the main module. Please read the mod's page descriptions and check the changelogs of each respective mod that's included in their folders for more info.

Thank you for all your patience everyone, this update wasn't easy. Enjoy!
