GUI Redux

Description
Now that the first version of this has largely been subsumed into the game itself, this update uses the new vanilla GUI as a base for some minor improvements you'll probably have to zoom in to see:

• Remade the new Exploration/Zone border to fit uniformly with the others. It does not have flowery bits in the corners. [See images 1 & 2]

• Edited the inventory's top-left player stats frame, following the example of the 'Cleaner UI' mod. [See images 3, 4, 5]
I also included another, alternative edit of the frame in case anyone prefers it. See the info.txt and readme.txt files in the mod's folder, found via the game's Mods menu, to swap it.

• Increased the fidelity of (and slightly de-squashed) the border around the map screen. [See images 6 & 7]

• Removed all redundant images from the mod package.

I kept the slightly deeper tint on the main text background because I think it's slightly more legible.

Now here's Future Pete with some updates from the future:

"Hi Pete. You may be from the past, but some of us just aren't, such as myself. Since last time, I have definitely redone the top-middle wavy sandy texture because you could hardly see the boxes in front of it, which was no use to man nor beast. I also kind of wanted to make a completely new player stats frame because the old one was bananas bonkers, but that was really hard so I might not have. I would've liked to set a whole GUI kit mod up for people to base their own themed GUI edits on, and I wanted to make a bunch of themes of my own too, but I also wanted to upload a scenario pack and figure out that whole GPT thing and make some kind of guide so everyone could find out how to make their generated images better, and honestly I've lost track of what I got done, if anything. Back to you."

Thanks, Future Pete. We'll see you next time to find out how much of that I'lln't've'd the wherewithal for.

I just pushed an update with some of your changes. Since the frames already work pretty well I am not sure if it'd be worth the extra effort to change all of them again, but you are welcome to do that if you enjoy it, or try making completely new borders and I will see whether it's suitable to incorporate into the base game (the frames would have to be "neutral" enough to go with any genre of playthrough)

Developer: I think I see what you mean. I'd initially fit the flowery cornery bits to the bottom of the main text box, making sure they weren't overlapping the inputs there, and then I think the rest of the borders were sized to match those. Removing the flowery parts would be totally doable — it might require recreating the whole thing based on an initial flowerless border image, but that probably only takes like 5–10 minutes per border once the method is figured out.

I believe I also slightly edited the background/frame of the top-left Player Stats area in the inventory screen, but I was wary of messing with its frame because I imagine like a 21:9 monitor would stretch it in ways I can't predict. I could alter the frame to match Cleaner UI's version.

I'd hoped to eventually make themed versions of the mod, but I don't think I could create good thematic borders for them, so a plainer border set that could just be hue-shifted or something might be a useful asset for that too.

Maybe I should get into modding...

Eee, I'm so glad you like it! I'd like to help and I will try to properly read & consider the details of your posts as soon as I can (difficult life stuff ongoing, brain melted).

Feel free to ignore my previous message; I suspect what you did isn't easily transferrable and I can't guarantee I'd use the changes even if you went through the effort of removing the corners. Anyway, I did a side-by-side comparison and it looks like this mod might not even need to remove the corners to look good, so I'll go with that. Thanks again.

This is a great mod which I'm trying to incorporate, but is there any chance it'd be easy for you to repeat the process for another image? It's partly my fault, but I'd been already using the fixed frames from "Cleaner UI" for quite some time: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2977099205 which you may notice if playing the game unmodded. And I did not update the "default" folder with the new images (I am now adding a warning in the readme of that folder for future updates, that the assets in that folder may be outdated).

This is really clean. I really hope the dev reads this and fixes the moddable gui bugs, because the player image (and follower image) look like a crinkled piece of tin foil. And nobody likes being tinfoil.
