Description
Have you ever been annoyed by those ancient pieces of metal that take up a lot of space and require pawns to smash it with their bare hands just to build a damn wall? Well, we'll fix that!

This mod adds the ability to deconstruct old vehicles and junk to try and find working parts for your new cars. The number of components depends on the size and type of ancient mechanism, as well as your luck. Not every rusty engine lying around could be usable.

Compatibility & Requirements
This mod require both Ideology DLC and Vanilla Vehicles Expanded (and it's requirments). It should be compatible with any other mod. Tested it with Worthless Junk (Continued) and all works fine.

Somehow pawns can disassemble the ancient war wreck on the beginning of game(the one contains mechlink) and the wreck just gone...... no mechlink left:steamsad:

Yes, I have the same problem. First, I removed all the disassembly mods and looked at all the tweak mod settings, anyway, disassembling the broken transport from Vanilla Vehicles Expanded - Tier3 does not give anything

Seems to be tier 3 wrecks doesn't give any car components anymore, they just disappears upon disassembling.

For some reason, some of the items I get from deconstructed vehicles cannot be used to build vehicles. The wheels I get from deconstructing for instance look like regular wheels and can be sold for their 'normal' value, but they cannot be used to build another vehicle. Not sure *which* exactly, but definitely wheels and fuel tanks.

Addendum, spoke too soon in my previous reply. The issue comes from VVD_Buildings_Ancient_Outdoors.xml patching ALL NonDeconstructibleAncientBuildingBase items, which includes the AncientExostriderMidsection def, to be deconstructible, but then fails to patch in the transponder as part of a costlist for the midsection. Easily enough fixed though, by either making the Midsection explicitly NonDeconstructible again, or adding a costlist with the transponder included :psi:

@-=GoW=-Dennis, @alphaxbasil059 can't be this mod, as it doesn't touch the exostrider midsection. Look for another mod in your list that does. Candidates would be "Worthless Junk" and similar mods.

It seems the biotech support broke, with this mod installed the ancient exostrider midsection can be deconstructed - which leads to not getting the chip. When it is not installed, it's not deconstructable.

@Farx by any chance you could do a quick update for the info file where it say it is compatable to the game

This mod seems to think that it is not updated for 1.6. It flags itself as such in the mod manager, at any rate. I know it's not an unsubscribe/subscribe problem either because I never downloaded it until just today.
