Somehow pawns can disassemble the ancient war wreck on the beginning of game(the one contains mechlink) and the wreck just gone...... no mechlink left:steamsad:

Yes, I have the same problem. First, I removed all the disassembly mods and looked at all the tweak mod settings, anyway, disassembling the broken transport from Vanilla Vehicles Expanded - Tier3 does not give anything

Seems to be tier 3 wrecks doesn't give any car components anymore, they just disappears upon disassembling.

For some reason, some of the items I get from deconstructed vehicles cannot be used to build vehicles. The wheels I get from deconstructing for instance look like regular wheels and can be sold for their 'normal' value, but they cannot be used to build another vehicle. Not sure *which* exactly, but definitely wheels and fuel tanks.

Addendum, spoke too soon in my previous reply. The issue comes from VVD_Buildings_Ancient_Outdoors.xml patching ALL NonDeconstructibleAncientBuildingBase items, which includes the AncientExostriderMidsection def, to be deconstructible, but then fails to patch in the transponder as part of a costlist for the midsection. Easily enough fixed though, by either making the Midsection explicitly NonDeconstructible again, or adding a costlist with the transponder included :psi:

@-=GoW=-Dennis, @alphaxbasil059 can't be this mod, as it doesn't touch the exostrider midsection. Look for another mod in your list that does. Candidates would be "Worthless Junk" and similar mods.

It seems the biotech support broke, with this mod installed the ancient exostrider midsection can be deconstructed - which leads to not getting the chip. When it is not installed, it's not deconstructable.

This mod seems to think that it is not updated for 1.6. It flags itself as such in the mod manager, at any rate. I know it's not an unsubscribe/subscribe problem either because I never downloaded it until just today.

Dunno if this mod also deconstruct the ancient mech bit where you get the thing for mechanitor but, be careful when also deconstructing it cuz I got a charge lance from it instead of the mechanicator chip...yeah should have thought about it first.

The ancient exostrider midsection is deconstructable and doesn't drop a transponder when deconstructed. There's no option to attack it either. Is that intended?

Hey, so I dunno if you changed anything on the 29th, but the mod freshly downloaded from Steam has 0 changes from the previous version. Every file is exactly the same. Probably why nobody is getting an update, no changes in the files means Steam doesn't see anything to update.

idk why but this mod is giving me errors and causing my game to not wanna load to teh main menu alongside some other mods, unsure if its this one specificly or a mixed issue but thought id say something

Not sure how many people are experiencing it, but I cannot get Steam to download the new version of this no matter what I try. Not something Farx can do anything about because it's just Steam being stupid.

I know ya mean well @Shou; however, I doubt Farx needs a white knight. Also, just look at what happened with Nyaron, the dev there thought there was no interest in their mod due to the lack of responses.

Unless Farx comes in here and says "Stop", or a person comments saying "PLZ UPDATE MODZ NOWS OR I HURT!!!1!", I don't think you are helping anything.

In other words, I don't think there's any harm in someone asking about an update so long as they're respectful because it does show interest in the mod's future, and let's the dev know their mod is to some degree wanted, needed, and appreciated.

I, for one, appreciate a mod that lets me scrap existing hardware laying around, though I think that instead of steel, it should drop metal scrap if you can't recover a component. Even further still it would be interesting if you could pick up a wheel, engine block, or even small cars (hey, you can pick up centipedes...) and take them to a machine bench for a higher recovery chance!

Guys. The mod works fine with 1.6. Leave the mod maker alone. If they update, they update. If they don't, learn to do it yourself or pay someone to do it.

for some reason wrecks are no longer deconstructible in 1.5

Looks like there are several new vehicles that were added in the new DLC that the mod doesnt account for, such as the ancient chemtruck, rusted industrial truck, and ruined forklift.

***The mod appears to still work in 1.6 at this time for the preexisting vehicles***

Can you also add the ability to deconstrcut the items from Ideology like the Ancient shopping carts, vending machines, giant wheels, Ect. I get tiered of having to attack to remove them

I know I probably shouldn't be doing this, but it works even if you don't have VVE installed. You might get an error, but I was still able to get the "deconstruct" and "claim" choices on vehicles that I couldn't before. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this won't hurt me later.

This mod is awesome, but some options for drop rates or even a lite fork that only gives out a small amount of steel since "Anything useful has been stripped" would be apreciated, it´s just too op/unbalanced at the moment

@monkmith I remember a long time ago I got raided by vikings and before even attacking my base they stole all the walls I built to protect my geothermal generator from damage then stole the generator too and ran off

@trash minify everything does that with lots of thing. if an item has worth and can be minify'd then raiders will just take it, i stopped using the mod when i had raider come to my base and just steal my walls...

Is the Ancient Exostrider Cannon (one of the pieces that spawns next to the midsection) supposed to be deconstructable? Wanted to check if this was intentional or if I have to start shuffling my mods around.

I dunno, Vanilla Vehicles adds wrecks without Ideology, and this is made for that if I'm not mistaken.

Unfortunately, those wrecks and ruins are from Ideology mod. So if you don't have it, the mod doesn't do anything since there's nothing to deconstruct.
