Description
  • This addon replaces the default railways signals with ones that automatically determine the correct railway track occupied by the player's train with the signals controller installed.
  • Only the next signal ahead and the one signal behind the train on the correct track indicate their state via radio, and that signals can be switched individually. The maximum operating distance of the controller is 150 - 50 meters, depending on track curvature.
  • You can replace default signals with dual-head or with dwarf ones in the addon properties. For default and dwarf signals, red light is for the right track and green light is for the left track.
  • Signals and their current state can be marked on the global map with the chat commands:
    • ?signals_show
    • ?signals_hide
  • Uses radio frequency 4401 to receive position and orientation of the controller on the train, and frequencies 4402 and 4403 to transmit signals state.
  • All signals can be switched manually or via the default radio broadcast on frequency 440.

How to use
  • Create a new game world.
  • Disable "Default Railroad Signals" addon from the Official tab.
  • Enable "ZE Smart Railroad Signals" addon from the Workshop tab.
  • Subscribe on the signals controller and install all its parts on your train.

in fact no signals spawn for me entirely mabye its just me i dunno

Enable it in the add-on properties before creating the game world.

No, because in that case you need to edit the add-on and manually add a special tag to each signal spawn zone if you it to be double-headed.

is there a way to mix the double headed and defaults in the same map?

You should use my controller to get the signals state and switch a particular signal.
