to me, it was just the way the cars feel. its probably a subjective difference in opinion with what i expected from the cars and what i got. i'd need more time behind the wheel of these cars to really figure out the balance

AFAIK, there is going to be a physics update for Glide to address the drifting issue. No idea when that will get released though.

That aside, I am not really understanding what's the performance issue here. Can you clarify on that?
Legofan47 24 Oct @ 7:09pm
another example would be the Annihilator and the 500 GT, those cars are both really fun to drive in the original game but the Annihilator just feels worse here across the board. Probably a side effect of how the balance translates to Glide's physics as opposed to Burnout's

And i'm not trying to say this mod is bad by any means, i find it amazing the amount of effort this must have taken to make every car have its own driving characteristics which feel similar to how they are in the original game

Ok thank you for responding, and I understand that the takedown 4x4 shouldn't be able to outright beat the X12, I just would prefer them to be closer in performance 🤷‍♂️

The problem is that in the original burnout paradise, you can indeed use any car and be competitive. maybe I'm biased cus burnout paradise is usually not that difficult a game, but I didn't like the fact that this GMod takedown 4x4 is so far behind in performance

Jesting aside, That's intention. It's suppose to emulate the performance and handling in the original game. Aggression boost cars are meant for taking and dealing hits not for racing. Take a Speed boost car if you going on the race track.

A race between a lifted pickup truck vs a supercar. Three guesses on which one will win the race. First two don't count.

I don't know if you're still planning to update this addon any further, but I noticed that alot of the Aggression class cars are far behind the others in terms of performance on a race track. I know this is mostly consistent with the game, but a car like the Takedown 4x4 is so far behind the X12 (they're unlocked one after the other in the original game which is why I used them as an example) I can't help but see it as a problem.
