Description

An add-on mod trying to add a bit more player interaction.

The Mod
I wanted to make a lightweight mod that mainly uses Rimworlds own mechanics and still makes the research a bit more interesting other than just standing still behind the research bench 24/7.
The mod makes use of Rimworlds own mechanics, making simple research require Research Papers, high-tech research requires Research Data, etc.
I tried to balance it to fit vanilla game as much at possible.

You start out by collecting samples from whatever resources you have laying around, at the new Research Sample Bench. Creating Samples that are used to examine, write Research Papers, and Assemble Data for research.

Needing research papers and data to do your research will make pawns need to do other things than just standing still at the research bench, as they need to collect and write.
And as Collecting Samples require two different skills, you need to have either one good pawn with general knowledge in multiple skills or have multiple pawns work together on collecting samples within each of their skilled areas.

Making research a job where you now need resources and multiple skills or pawns to work effectively and keep an eye on your use of papers and data.

Collecting resources, making samples, papers and data, etc take time and make researching take longer. But it is possible to get multiple research bonuses from the new Sample Bench that link to research benches, Schematics that work as drugs, and a hard-to-get Archotech Analyzer. Making actually research speed faster than normal.

The game has menu settings for recipe costs and data consumption for all paper/data types and buildings using them.

Tried to fix a wired bug with IngredientCount and Subcore Scanner.
Its a test so let me know if it happens again.

After many requests from people, A LOT of tries, failure, and learning, I have managed to add settings to the mod.
Added settings for all paper/data recipes.
Added settings for buildings' paper/data consumption rate.
Hope you really like it.

Huge update to the backend of the mod to make it run better on 1.5 and 1.6
and to prepare for adding mod settings (Only 1.6 get settings).
If you run into errors, let me know. Remember to re-sub the mod.
Also added patch support for the mod: More Multi-Analyzers

@Pharaoh Can you do me a favor, and in RimSort use the function to delete all .dds files and then build them again and see if that works?

I tried to use the mod in rimsort, reinstalled the mod and everything, started a new game, and the textures are still not there, but the rest of the mod is functioning, weird.

Its wired as i do not get that error.
Hit F12 and past the link to a full log. in the other post you made. then i take a look at it after im done with what im working on.

@kongkim, yeah I still get the same two texture errors(they're in the discussion for ref.) for the Archo. Analyzers after doing that.

A couple other of my mods had texture errors that they fixed after the update too, not sure what RW changed but it's something.

@kongkim, but I don't use either of those... just stock RimWorld.
If I load with just this mod I get two errors(I'll put them in a discussion).
