Description
Previously known as AGOT: More Generated CoAs submod with the addition of AGOT: Dynasty Names for Lowborn Founders and AGOT: House Motto Generation submods.

AGOT: House Founders

Submod for CK3AGOT to extend the overall immersion of the game regarding Dynasty/House name, Coat of Arms and House motto generation for raised lowborns.

When a character appears with a house name or coat of arms that has been used by 1000 times by the game, or with a house motto that fits the overall A Song of Ice and Fire mottos very little this submod will step in, and will generate a unique house (or at least you won't see repetitions in 1000 years or more.)

Dynasty/House Name generation:
Every culture has it's own house name generation rules. For example Westerosi cultures will tend to generate English sounding house names, but Valyrians, Rhoynish or Summer Islanders will get very different names.

Coat of Arms generation:
CoA generation follows a similar approach as the name generation, but it has even more detail. Color sets, possible emblems or CoA complexity are all weighted differently for every culture.
In general it is possible to get all type of CoAs for every culture, but for example to receive a Summer Islander looking CoA as a Northman will be very unlikely.

House Motto generation:
The House Motto generation is in it's early stages, some very bad or gibberish outcomes are more often than what I would like to see, but I'll try to improve it.

Nicknames:
This mod also adds more than 3000 nicknames.

Compatibility and Load Order
Load after CK3AGOT.

Example load order:
  • A Game of Thrones
  • AGOT: House Founders
  • AGOT: More Actions

Because of the nature of this mod it is compatible only with AGOT and AGOT submods that doesn't change how CoAs or House Names and Mottos work. (Submods that add CoA-s for the CoA designer should be fine)

@Corey that's strange it works for me. The target needs to have the disputed heritage trait, can you check if that trait is missing from Joffrey?

There seems to be compatibility issues between this and Patrum Scuta - which is not surprising. When running both together, this seems to essentially not function, with new CoAs essentially being a tribal symbol on plain background. Is there any way to make them compatible without much effort?

Update:
- Added new emblems and added many base AGOT emblems into the generation pool.
- Changed the color picking logic so now it's much less likely to pair 2 colors that hurts your eyes.

@Nsado it's probably a load order issue. I have no problem with running AGOT+ and House Founders together.

Anyone else have an issue with all of the House Coat of Arms and title CoAs being solid maroon?
