This vehicle is a redesign of the LCS-17 "Indianapolis" by suspisous_cat, and is uploaded in accordance with the original author.

Be aware that this vehicle can only be spawned through a mission or a modded workbench.

OVERVIEW
The Freedom-class Littoral Combat Ship is a fast and extremely maneuverable warship with a top speed of just under 50 knots. It utilizes advanced weapon and targeting systems and is designed to accommodate an 11m RHIB in it's stern, as well as a medium sized helicopter on her flightdeck. Below the flightdeck is also a reconfigurable compartment which can also be used as a cargo hold.

This ship is suitable for multi-crew operations, with room for a complement of 17 crew members. It boasts three main weapon systems - centrally controlled from the Combat Information Center. As for ship security, she has four machine gun watchposts and an armoury to arm it's crew. The interior is about 50% enterable and is heated by an automatic heating system.

    Ammunition in Storage: 3000 Rnds (HE)

  • Ship Security: 4 x Mounted M240 Automatic Machine Guns
    Ammunition: 100 Rnds p/mount
    Extra Ammunition Provided: 800 Rnds p/mount


OPERATIONAL TIPS
  • Manual
  • When using the Autopilot function, beware that the ship won't be as maneuverable when the waterjets are at max power at a low RPM. A way around it is to increase the RPM and have the waterjets set to half or lower.
  • Be cautious while operating the stern sluice gate while either on the move or with the flightdeck railing lowered. The gates may not open correctly.
  • When trying to conduct air operations, use or equip a helicopter with a hardpoint connector. The flightdeck is equipped with connection points to lock the helicopter in place.
  • When trying to conduct waterborne operations, use or equip your RHIB with hinge connectors. The WMZ ramp is equipped with connection points to lock the RHIB in place.
  • Both the flightdeck and waterborne mission zone are equipped with refuel and electrical utilities to replenish you're vehicles.
  • Cold weather gear is stored in the crew compartment and stateroom
  • When recovering any RHIB in the WMZ, be cautious not to overshoot or a fire may break out.
  • Play with friends!

@GrubFire - Disengage the Clutch and use the throttles to move. Steering is from the front-right seat on the bridge.

@Azza - I’ve been brainstorming for a way to make that happen, and given the current configuration I don’t think I can make that happen. However, I’am considering building a seperate version based of the concepted Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC). This version would improve VLS capacity, but also expand hangar compatibility and provide better aircraft handeling options. We’ll just have to see what the future holds.

i know how to get fuel, but how do i fire the guns and missiles
