Description
All of your radar based DECM (defensive electronic countermeasures) all in one place, neatly assembled onto a single display, with ability to differentiate between search, track, and missile radars.

SEARCH threat indication (>3000m radar short pulse), short blip sound
TRACK threat indication (>3000m radar continuous signal), hilo siren
MISSILE threat indication (<3000m radar continuous signal), qsiren

Dispenser in AUTO mode will dispense chaff every 3 seconds on TRACK and MISSILE threats.

Up to 999 chaff in system supported.

Configurable values are chaff in system, composite read channel for manual dispense key, and default dispenser mode (MAN/AUTO)

My DECM suite is a machine that turns loud noises into missiles not hitting me.

I made a lock with a radar beam and while I was testing, I noticed that lock on some planes was disrupted for some reason, until I discovered this system, it was really ahead of its time!

ofc you can put this onto vehicles, just leave a link in the description

stormworks has no known way of discerning radar signal direction.

Am I allowed to put this onto my vehicles? and is there something specific that I should put there?
And do you think that this system will ever know where the missile is coming from?

Blud have officially lost his mind

apologies to the guy who asked how it works.

the rwr gets the range to ohio by mewing, which is done in order to looksmaxx, thereby causing the missile to stop edging and loose all of its rizz.

later on i might use signal analysis to analyze the actual track radar pulsewidth, in order to categorize the threat in terms of the max range of the radar that is tracking you. could problably say 10tick (20km) radar is a FCR, 4km radar is maybe a short range SAM, etc etc.

if you think a little further, you could assign that to range rings, but the issue with that is that someone can track you with a 20km radar, at 1km. so not really useful in terms of a raw range metric.

max radar range of a radar influences how fast it pulses radar warning receivers. this is based on ticks to detect a target, which is max range /2000, rounded to the nearest integer. this means that radars with a max range of under 3km emit a continuous signal, as they have one tick detection time.

making a missile with a >3km radar will actually inhibit its maneuverability and tracking quality, as it will have new data every 2 ticks, and interpolate in between.

if you want to do something useful with this knowledge, i suggest using a max range of sub 3km if you wish to make a hardkill APS system or MAWS, as this will be the fastest update rate, allowing you to have the best radar sweep speed. i have an entire excel file that uses heatmaps to show the ideal range to scan speed stuff, as well as other big tables comparing radar settings for every radar in the game.
