Description
This mod modifies the AI construction system to build more defensive buildings.

This mod is now included in AI Construction Priorities Reworked This mod deals with the AI building system. I recommend using the Lycia mod but in no case use both at the same time.

This mod is a revision of my TWW2 mod Ai Fortified System Building All the defensive buildings have become military buildings which allows me to better reorganize the layout.

Increased chance for AI to build defensive buildings. This is not to say that the AI will build defensive buildings in all of your settlements, but it will in most of them.

The proportion of buildings has been distributed in:
Military: 66%
Support: 34%
Defensive: 0% (All defensive buildings are now categorized as military)
This provides a higher recruiting ability for the AI.

It is compatible with practically any mod and mods that modify garrisons, buildings or bonuses.

Two questions

1.) Are the priority changes global? For example, a modded faction with new buildings, will their buildings that the mod author classified under “military” or "defense" be prioritized?

2.) Does this cancel CA's priority changes for AI to build more resource buildings?

@Vollhov Minor settlements will also build defenses because the priority is higher than other buildings although it is a % and not a guideline, you can see it in the photos.

Because of this, AI in minor settlements does not have protective walls and because of this it is very easy to storm them.

Hey guys. =) AI Construction Priorities Reworked should adore having more build slots to work with. I personally use it with The Great Settlement Battle Overhaul (adds a slot to minor settlements and lets them go to T4) and my T4 minor settlements compatibility submod.

The primary feature that Incata let me borrow for Prios Reworked is his modification pulling structures out of the defensive category, and putting them in military, with the associated rebalance of build distribution to 66% military, 34% support. This is to try to get them recruiting better.

About 90% of the rest of Prios Reworked is a massive list of rules for the AI to follow when building their provinces up. It is a mix of "set the priority for X buildings higher to make them more likely," and a list of rules like, "Don't build a barracks in a major settlement, they go in minor settlements," etc.

@Saikyoku My mod is simpler than Lycia's, with my mod you will not have any problems since only the priority of the garrison buildings is increased, if you also have my AI task mod the AI should also manage its cities better over time. What Lycia does with her mod is tell the AI what it has to build at all times and where it has to do it. That said, I don't know if it could cause any problems, I suppose not, but it's better to ask her that question.

Hello Incata, with this mod do you advise me to use your mod or that of Lycia? If you know which of the two would take into account the fact that there are more building slots

@The Mannis Hi, I'm glad you like them :steamhappy:. I think that they can be used together but some values will be stepped on so it depends on which mod has more priority, one or the other will be applied. You also have my AI Anti-Cheat mod to control this type of thing that is obviously fully compatible with my other mods.
