DISCLAIMER: I do not support or condone Nazi Germany, its ideology or its actions. This mod is made for historical accuracy and players' customization.

If the mod becomes listed as outdated in the launcher, ignore it unless new division icons have been added in vanilla. That's the only way that this mod can be broken by updates.

Important:
Multiple of my division icon mods can't be used at the same time. A compilation mod that includes all icons will come soon if you are playing MP for example, for now you'll have to limit to one mod at a time.

Current Features:

  • Icons for all real SS divisions as well as several ahistorical icons for fictional SS, some from the original mod but most are unique to this expanded mod
  • Icons for notable and famous Wehrmacht divisions with a large selection of Panzer, PzGren, Fallschirmjäger and Gebirgs divisions and with noteworthy other divisions also, such as the Afrika divisions, 78. Sturm and 272. VG (Not every German division will be added because that would be hundreds of icons but many infantry and other divisions are present)

Due to causing a glitch with the NSB tank designer the army and army group icons have been removed. If you want icons I suggest WW's German Icons. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2929531536


Future Additions:

  • Foreign volunteer icons, real and fictional (coming soon)
  • 35th Infantry Division on request
  • German Imperial icons
  • Democratic and Communist icons
  • A guide to new fictional SS divisions (maybe soon if still needed)
    The originally planned expansion to SS icons is cancelled as I am redirecting time to finishing the other contents of the mod and then moving on to new projects and I consider the current collection to be quite complete enough even if it lacks any for Asia, Latin America and etc.

A good list of historical SS divisions can be found on the Wikipedia page if you want to know what icons go where, I can't link it because information bad I guess.

My plan is that eventually every major and many minors will have at least some icons for them, though with some countries there will certainly be none or very few to choose from or the information might be too lacking.

I can't describe how grateful I am to everyone for enjoying the mod, I thought for sure it would be a niche mod that only a few people would download.

Thanks for your reply and thanks for that link. I think i missed it somehow.
I used to have the German, British and American insignia mods made by RoccatRene but he does'nt update them anymore. I find them alot easier to see since my eyes don't work that well anymore. I just hope someone takes over those mods in the future and updates them again.

@Milan [BE] Yes, that is the purpose of the mod as the mod's title suggests. I know the description is long but it mentions army icons. The original mod had army group icons but I think they were all just division icons and I didn't agree with the original author's idea of using division icons for armies. The icons somehow also caused a bug with the NSB tank designer, I don't know how but when I deleted them the bug was fixed. If you want army icons I suggest using the mod linked above, I actually just changed out the URL for the updated version as I don't use it myself so wasn't aware the original one is broken now

That would be amazing. Thanks. I wish I had the skills to help. In terms of 1. Marine-Infanterie-Division, it was formed Feb '45, in a pretty improvised way, so I don't think they ever had time to actually produce one. Marine-Schützen-Brigade Nord that it was formed from don't appear to have had one either.

@QueerDoom I've thought of returning to the mod to add more foreign volunteer icons and a limited amount for the other ideologies. If I get back into these mods I really should finish my American one first as I promised, maybe I'll do that tomorrow. After that I could add those, I've had a couple other requests as well. For the Kriegsmarine I could maybe add a couple representing them in the first part of the list but reordering that whole thing is kind of a pain in the ass. I would also be willing to add a logo for 1. Marine-Infanterie-Division if a logo can be identified

It's so weird. I cannot find it anywhere. It doesn't appear to be real. Thanks for making the mod. Being able to personalise the divisions makes playing it much more fun in my nerdy opinion. If you ever have the time/inclination, it would be great to have a Kriegsmarine, and Führer Begleit Division and Führer Grenadier Division decals.

@QueerDoom That was the work of the original mod author so I have literally no idea either, lol. To me it looks almost Finnish. Anyway I actually made this mod specifically to add Wehrmacht division icons for more "apolitical" ones in big quotes, kinda bothered me that German Division Icons was just SS divisions and every kind of swastika you could want

Can someone who knows please tell me what the green decal with the swastika is? The one next to the standard red with black swastika decal. I cannot for the life of me find what it is.

@konstantin I don't plan on doing more in the future but ahistorical ones are already in the mod have been since I put the mod up 3 years ago. I was also building off of the work of the original mod's uploader who did the same, the point of this mod was to expand the choice of fictional SS and include the Wehrmacht but some of the fictional ones were his work. If you want to know which ones are real you can just google it, there are lists of them
